"Sarah! Sarah, are you okay? Sarah, listen to me." I wake up to find Ms. Merlin and Jessie hovering over me. Jessie looks like she'd been crying. "Sarah!" I stand up. I feel dizzy. "Sarah, you okay?"

"What happened? Is Lindsay here?" I ask.

"No, Sarah, you blacked out!"

"Why, what happened?" Jessie tells me about the phone call and how she called Ms. Merlin after I blacked out. It all comes back to me. I start crying.

"Honey, it's okay. It's going to be okay," Ms. Merlin says. "Let's get in the car." Jessie and Ms. Merlin carry me out to the car, my arms wrapped around their shoulders for support.
