I was sitting on the grass keeping an eye on Scott't heart rate whilst Stiles continued to pelt Scott with lacrosse balls. I realised Scott's heart rate was getting dangerously high.

"Stiles!" I called but Scott fell to the ground, breathing heavily. Stiles bobbed down next to me and we watched as the monitor started to exceed the 160s.

"Scott?" Stiles asked cautiously. Scott groaned and gripped at the earth, vexed. We walked towards him slowly as the monitor decreased.

"Scott?" I repeated and put a hand on his shoulder. "You were beginning to change."

"From anger. But it was more than that. It was like, the angrier I got, the stronger I felt." He told us.

"So it is anger, then. Derek's right." Stiles commented.

"I can't be around Allison."

"Just because she makes you happy?" I snapped, he would drop her? Just like that.

"No, because she makes me weak." The glare that I was already supporting, hardened. My eyes flashed gold before I stalked off. Allison was one of my best friends and she seriously liked him and I couldn't believe he would keep hurting her like this.

"R-Rori?" I heard Stiles call as he ran after me. "Hey, you okay?" He asked once he finally caught up to me. I shook my head and stopped walking, looking at Stiles.

"I can't believe he would do this to her. She's probably already hurt and confused over him avoiding her today. How would she feel if he did it for the next few week or however long he plans to keep this ridiculous idea up?" I raved to him and he stayed quiet, just listening with wide eyes. "Why would he think it would be a good idea? It's honestly one of the most stupid ideas I think he's come up with. Avoiding Allison? Please, he could barely go a day without seeing her and-" I was cut of from my rant my Stiles' lips on mine. I kissed back after a moment, putting my hands on his neck before pulling away.

"Sorry." I mumbled.

"It's fine. It's nice to see you being annoyed when most of the time your really calm and sweet. Even to Jackson, which is kind of unbelievable." I blushed and chuckled.  I went on my tiptoes to peck his lips again.

"Just for the record." I began. "I'm ignoring Scott until he stops this stupid idea." Stiles nodded.

"Fair enough."

"Let's go. Sit, sit, sit, sit. We got a lot to cover today. Let's go. Quicker." The coach told us as we walked into Economics. I sat down in the seat next to Scotts.

"Hey, Stiles, sit behind me, dude." Scott asked as Stiles went to sit behind me. Stiles understood and tried to step over the table to get the the chair but Allison walked up next to it. Stiles backed down and sat behind me. Stiles gave Scott a look that said 'nothing I can do' whilst everyone took their seats. I smiled when I felt Stiles begin to play with my hair. We were watching Scott and Allison's really awkward conversation when the coach slammed a book on his desk, causing us to jump and Stiles to pause before going back to amusing himself with my hair.

"Let's settle down. Let's start with a quick summary of last night's reading. Greenberg, put your hand down. Everybody knows you did the reading." There was a pause before he looked to Stiles. "Stilinski, this is economics, not beauty school." Stiles took his hands out of my hair as the coach turned to Scott. "How about, uh - McCall."

"What?" Scott asked, confused.

"The reading." Coach repeated and sat on his desk.

"Last night's reading?"

"How about, uh, the reading of the Gettysburg Address?" Coach Finstock asked sarcastically and a couple of people laughed.

"What?" Scott asked, once again confused.

"That's sarcasm. You familiar with the term 'sarcasm,' McCall?"

"Very." Scott answered and looked back to Stiles who smiled proudly, making me giggle.

"Did you do the reading or not?" The coach asked again.

"Uh - I think I forgot."

"Nice work, McCall. It's not like you're not averaging a "D" in this class." This made a few more people chuckle. "Come on, buddy. You know I can't keep you on the team if you have a D." The coach mumbled to Scott and I heart his heart rate pick up, I look back at Stiles who had the phone in his hand. "How about you summarize, uh, the previous night's reading? No? How about the, uh, the night before that? How about you summarize anything you've ever read - In your entire life?" Scott heart rate started to exceed 135 as he tried to stutter out an answer.

"No? A blog? How about, uh, how about, uh, the back of a cereal box? No?" Stiles and I watched nervously as his heart rate started to go past 145. "How about the adults only warning from your favorite website you visit every night? Anything? Thank you, McCall, thank you. Thank you, McCall! Thank you for extinguishing any last flicker of hope I have for your generation. You just blew it for everybody. Thanks." His heart rate was nearing the 160s. "Next practice you can start with suicide runs. Unless that's too much reading." We watched in amazement as his heart rate started going down. I looked at them in confusion before spotting Scott and Allison's interlocked. I grinned and nudged Stiles who looked at me confused. I pointed to their hands and a look of realization crossed his face.

"It's her." Stiles told Scott as we exited the classroom.

"What do you mean?" He asked.

"It's Allison. Remember what you told me about the night of the full moon? You were thinking about her, right? About protecting her."

"Okay." Scott said, waiting for Stiles to continue.

"Remember the night of the first lacrosse game? You said you could hear her voice out on the field."

"Yeah, I did."

"So that's what brought you back so you could score. And then after the game in the locker room, you didn't kill her. At least not like how you were trying to kill us."

"She brings you back, is what he's saying." I butted in with a playful eye roll at Stiles we nudged me lightly with a grin on his face.

"No, no, no, but it's not always true, because literally every time I'm kissing her or - or touching her -"

"No, that's not the same." Stiles interrupted. "When you're doing that, you're just another hormonal teenager thinking about sex, you know? You're thinking about sex right now, aren't you?"

"Yeah. Sorry." Scott chuckled.

"That's fine. I kinda am too." He glanced down at me with wide eyes and I raised an eyebrow. He then looked back at Scott who was smirking.

"L-look, back in the classroom when she was holding your hand, that was different, okay? I don't think she makes you weak. I-I think she actually gives you control. She's kind of like an anchor."

"You mean because I love her." My eyes widened and I grinned, clapping my hands excitedly.

"Exactly." Stiles agreed.

"Did I just say that?"

"Yes. Yes you did." I grinned and pulled Scott into a hug. "Well done, Scotty! Anyway, I have to go, I have art." I felt that I basically forgave Scott. Now knowing that he loved her, I knew he was avoiding her to keep her safe. Stiles smiled at me and pecked my lips before I walked down the halls. But that revelation that Scott received got me thinking. Did I love Stiles? I thought about all the times we'd spent together and without knowing, a grin spread across my face before my eyes widened and my grin dropped. Oh God...I love Stiles.

I smiled as I watched Rori walk away before I turned back to Scott who still had wide eyes.

"I love her." Scott said with a smile.

"That's great. Now, moving on -"

"No, no, no, really. I think I'm totally in love with her." I rolled my eyes and was about to keep going when Scott interrupted again. "Do you love, Rori?" He asked and I rolled my eyes again.

"Of course I love Ro-" I cut myself off with wide eyes. Did I love Rori? I looked back to Scott who had a smirk on his face. I opened and closed my mouth a few times.

"Oh my God...Scott...I love her. What do I do?" I asked panicked and Scott shrugged.

"I don't know man. I'm in the same boat as you." He told me and I took a deep breath, getting back to the matter at hand.

"Okay, well. You obviously can't be around her all the time."

"Yeah, yeah, yeah. Sorry. So what do I do?"

"I don't know...yet."

"Oh, no. You're getting an idea, aren't you?" He asked tiredly.

"Yeah."

"Is this idea gonna get me in trouble?"

"Maybe." I replied.

"Is this idea gonna cause me physical pain?"

"Yeah, definitely. Come on."

AURORA'S POV

I was interrupted from my conversation with Isaac when I felt an arm wrap around my waist and gently pull me away. I waved at Isaac who waved back confused before I spun around to see Stiles.

"Where are we going?" I asked as he interlocked our fingers together.

"I have another idea to help Scott keep in control."

"What are we doing?" Scott asked as we walked up to a truck.

"Stand right there. Do you have your keys?" He asked and Scott took them out. "Perfect. Hold 'em up like so." Stiles said and moved Scott's arm and hand to hold the keep with the pointed bit up. "Now, whatever happens, just think about Allison. Try to find her voice like you did at the game. Got it?" Scott nodded.

"Just - keep holding it right there." Stiles then grabbed my hand and pulled my with him. He got closer to the car before running his key along it, scratching it. He then stood up away from it and turned to Scott.

"Hey, hey, hey, dude! What do you think you're doing to that truck, bro?" Stiles called and then looked towards the man who owned it.

"What the hell!?" He shouted and my eyes widened, Scott quickly pocketed his key, shaking his head. The man punched him in the face.

"Ow! My God. Wow." Stiles said as we watched Scott being beaten.

"Stiles! We have to do something." I interjected, he shook his head.

"He'll be fine." He said and we looked at the heart monitor which was approaching 130. Mr. Harris came storming over to the group.

"Stop! Hey, stop it right now. What do you idiots think you're doing?" Scott turned to Stiles who was proudly displaying the phone which was now in the 60s.

"Detention! All three of you." Harris shouted. "Meet after school in my classroom." He rolled his eye irritated before walking off.

I was sat in front of Stiles and Scott as I worked on my History project. Since I couldn't exactly write about my parents or family being angels, I wrote about how some of my ancestors were burnt at the stake for being 'witches,' because of the wings and such.

"Excuse me, sir?" Scott asked, interrupting the silence. "Uh, I know it's detention and all, but, uh, I'm supposed to be at work, and I don't want to get fired." Mr. Harris remained silent as he got back to his work.

"You knew I would heal." Scott said to Stiles

"Yep."

"So you did that to help me learn?"

"Yep."

"But partially to punish me."

"Yeah. Well, that one's obvious."

"Dude, you're my best friend, and I can't have you being angry with me."

"I'm not angry anymore." Stiles said and I smiled to my work, happy they were getting on again. "Look, you have something, Scott. Okay? Whether you want it or not, you can do things that nobody else can do. So that means you don't have a choice anymore. It means you have to do something."

"I know. And I will." I grinned at this news.

"All right, all of you, out of here."

"Thank you." Scott mumbled and we left.

I was walking to Stiles' car with him when I heard someone call my name.

"Rori!" I spun around to face Scott. "Y-You're not mad at me anymore are you?" I smiled and pulled him into another hug. He wrapped his arms around me.

"No. I'm not." I told him once we pulled away.

"Good...because I don't think I could stand you hating me." I rolled my eyes and chuckled. I then ruffled his hair, making him laugh.

"I could never hate you, Scott." He smiled at me before his eyes widened.

"I'm late for work!" He then rushed over to his bike, quickly saying bye to us before riding off.
