Lucy's POV

Feeling better after the promise I go to cook tea for my new mum. In a basket I find fish. I cook me some and bring it to Mum raw.

Mum giggles well what a handy little girl you are she says with a smile. I beam at her, I don't remember my mum I was left in the forest as a baby and as I grew up I watched animals pounce on their prey and I learnt to do so to. Mum stared at me for a while it looked like she was thinking.

Time skip~1 week later

I woke up from my mum calling me, I rush to the room. Yes mama? I ask Her what she wanted me for. She said to teach me Angel dragon slayer magic. I agree but inside I jump and bounce and I'm really excited for this!

4 months after training

During training Mum takes us to catch more fish. I wander of to the next lake and spot a giant egg in the tree, I tank the tree and the egg falls into my hands. I rush back to mama with the egg

Mama mama I found tea!

What is it?

An egg, look!

Oh no my little feather!, that is an exceed egg

An exceed?...

Yes! An exceed comes from edolas, it is a talking, flying cat

So what do I do with it?

You hatch it as a best friend

OKAY!

It takes 3 days to hatch so no more training ok?

Oh-Kay I sulk

Chin up little feather my mum says

We go home and I start sleeping with the egg

Time skip~3 days later (LOL I'm so lazy)

I wake up from rumbling and I hear cracking

Mama! Mama! It's hatching quick come look

Oh wow it's amazing!

I agree little feather you have done a truly great job!

I blush at the compliment from mama. And I look at the exceed, my new best friend, she is white and gold with golden eyes.

What's her name Lucy?

Her name is.......Dawn

Dawns ears prick up and she lands on my head I laugh and so does Mum me and dawn we're going to be best friends

The next day I started my training with dawn we both practiced a new attack mine was : falling feather. Dawns was: light ripple. After 20 attacks each we both collapsed, exhausted.
