Cien folded the last piece of cloth and kept it inside the closet. Everything in the room was neat since she has been cleaning them since yesterday evening and it was only 12 pm in the saturday morning. After many months, she finally got free time and felt like doing a deep-cleaning for her room that has been abandoned for 2 months straight. Almost all the members were out for their personal schedule and few went up to meet their friends while Cien decided to stay back.

Laying down on her bed, she glanced at her phone which had a picture of Joshua as the lock screen and her smile faded slightly "Should I?"

At that moment, a call came from her only best friend who is currently in China, a video call.

“ Hello Jun-didi ” she spoke in her mother tongue

Jun laughed and it looks like he was inside his dorm with The8 sleeping at the other bed “ What were you doing Jie? ”

Cien smiled and flipped the camera showing him the room “ Started cleaning up the whole room with Dino yesterday and finished it today, the others are all out for their schedule and off time ”

Jun nod and then look at The8 slightly before standing up quietly and walking out to the balcony “Jiejie , have you finally decided to confess to Shua-hyung?”

Cien n smiles and nod her head sighing out loud “ I discussed it with Dino yesterday and I thought the whole night and yes, I will confess today ”

Jun smiled and nodded his head, keeping quiet for a few seconds “ I just hope that things won't end up being awkward between you two. If not, once the other members get to know about it, it will be super awkward for us ”

Cienn could understand what the younger one meant. Joshua and Cien have always been the inseparable duo ever since their training days. Everyone knows how benevolent Joshua has always taken care of Cien while the girl did the same for him but something about Joshua's soft actions made her fall for him.

She knew that it was impossible to have a relationship with him after all they were in a same group and she didn't want to create any discomfort with their relationship right now but she knew that she had to move on from him. Having a crush on him for 5 years wasn't a joke and now, to get over it, she needs to get rejected so that she can start moving on and get a reality check.

“ He might be alone too , ask him out for a date and then confess at the right time but if you are too nervous then do it next time. Don't worry about it ”

Wishing her good luck with some funny comments, the two ended the call and Cien walked up to the other dorm and saw it was empty except for Joshua sitting in front of the tv watching a drama that was recently aired.

"Hey Shua, are you busy today? "

Joshua shook his head and smiled "No, I'm free today, why?"

"Just wanted to ask if you want to hangout together?"

He immediately nodded his head as if he had been waiting for Cien to ask him to hangout and turned off the tv "It's better to hangout instead of staying in front of the tv the whole day"

"Let's meet at 1pm"

Cien just put on casual denim jeans paired with a white shirt that belongs to Scoups which was normal for him but to her, it turns out to be an oversized shirt and paired off with a comfortable shoes. She finished her light neutral make up with a light lipstick then packed her bags, lastly taking the mask and hat along.

"Hansol - ah! I'm going out with Josh!"

"Have fun and noona, bring me my favourite burger and chicken wings when you're back ! "

"Okay!"

Going out of the dorm, Joshua also came down wearing a grey polo button down shirt with a black jeans and a converse with his mask and hat.

"Let's go for some coffee?"

The two first went to get some coffee together as they talked about their lives, worries, concerns and some funny chats before moving off to the cat café which the two spent more than 2 hours playing with the cats and feeding them. By the time they came out it was already starting to get dark but the two still decided to go around the streets eating some street foods and fooling around, buying some other cute stuff they found on the way

"Here's your Boba tea"

Thanking the owner, the two took their boba and walked out of the store heading towards the Han river side where everyone were sitting and having picnic while few going on for evening walk / exercise or drinking.

Searching for a safe spot they sat down and kept the things aside quickly drinking up their boba tea.

"Today was fun. Though it was for a few hours, I enjoyed a lot"

Joshua laughed "Yes same here, I was getting tired of sitting in front of the tv for more than 4 hours so it's relaxing and happy vibes"

The two remained quiet as they admire the light's ray from the bridge at the water surface which looked really pretty with other people admiring the beautiful night Han river view.

"shua I actually have something to tell you"

Joshua nod and turned to her, Cien took a deep breath which he was confused and thought it was something serious so he stopped drinking his tea focusing on the girl.

Cien, Cien, Cien, Tang Cien, you can do it! you got this!

"Shua I actually started having a crush on you since like 2013 and at that time we were trainees so I didn't confess but when I decided to confess to you, it was revealed that I will be joining the group. I cried so hard that night instead of being happy because I couldn't confess to you and knowing that you see me as a close friend, your future group mate and also a sister hurt me a lot but was also happy that I get to debut after years of hardwork"

Joshua's expression changed a bit but still look at Cien who avoided his gaze and smiled beneath the mask "I knew that if I confess it might make things awkward specially when we are already going to debut soon so I didn't and held back myself, admired you from afar. I don't know how I got through all these years but I guess I did very good in hiding my emotions and feelings for you. But today, I decided to confess to you "

Their gaze met and Joshua really didn't know what to say as the sudden confession made him feel waves of emotions that he couldn't explain , Cien could see the emotion from his eyes and chuckled "Hear me out first.... I decided to confess to you and in this way I can finally get off from my chest and have a new start. I don't want to do something reckless which will affect the group's image and cause trouble to us, so I took up all my courage to confess to you Shua"

Joshua remained silent for a moment and broke into a smile "Cien Cien Cien Cien" he patted the girl's head and nodded his head "I am glad that you took it off and did the right thing. You've matured up a lot huh?"

"Don't tease me shh!"

Joshua laughed and nod his head still grinning but he can't help himself from admiring the 22 year old girl whom he has spend everyday together and saw her grow up, matured up till this day and now he believes that she has indeed become a woman, an independent woman who knows what to do and what to think and how to handle things.

"Cien - ah thank you for understanding and for loving me. I really appreciate it and yet I'm glad that you confessed it off and I hope that one day you get someone you truly love, you really deserve the best"

Cien thought that she would cry out or feel sad that she was rejected though she already prepared herself but instead she felt happiness, relief and joy inside her.

"So why don't we cheer our leftover last sip of boba tea for your moving on from you almost three years of crush on this handsome gentleman?"

Cien cringed at his words but laughed it off and raised his cup and tossed it with him giving each other a hug as Joshua cut some jokes. She felt relieved and happy , comfortable that something heavy from her chest has been taken off after ages.

Finally  , i have decided to move on and i already did.
