Suddenly she stopped jumping. "But Hyunjin, what happens to him? She said I should call you if they find him. Did they find him?"

"He's fine, Maya."

"Where is he?"

"He's still at his house."

"Then why am I here?"

"Because you fell unconscious in the middle of a graveyard, silly!"

"Oh right...wait, do you know that Jinnie was the one who-"

"Yes, Maya. I do. I knew even before he did it."

"What?"

"Didn't you know?"

"Know what?"

"Liv knew she was going to die."

"But she didn't die."

"She was supposed to...did she ever tell you what she saw? Or did he tell you?"

"No one told me anything."

Lix took a seat at his bed and signalled Maya to do the same.

"You know Liv wasn't the first, right?"

"Yeah."

"Well, on Wednesday night Hyunjin stole ￦1,000,000 from a college student by the name of Han Jisung. Once the student found out he attacked him in an alleyway. Liv was coming back from her dance practises at that time and happened to witness him pull out a dagger from his pocket. From what she told me, Hyunjin cut at Jisung's neck but still, the boy didn't die so he stabbed his chest and then his heart. After making sure the boy was dead, Hyunjin looked up and saw Liv there. Grasping the situation, he sprinted towards her with the dagger in his hand but she just ran to a nearby nightclub. With all the bodies around, it made it impossible for him to get to her or harm her."

Maya blinked a couple times before huffing in disbelief. Jinnie and her had been friends for as long as she could remember and she had believed she knew all there was to him but now she felt as though he was a completely different person.

"How close were you to Liv?"

"As close as you with Hyunjin."

"I don't even know how close I am ro him anymore. One second I thought I knew everything but now I'm not so sure. It's like he's a completely different person with me. He's soft, caring and harmless. How did he change so much?"

"That's exactly how I felt with Liv. She kept secrets too, you know."

"What more secrets did she have?" Maya asked as she shook her head, unable to believe how gullible she was. She detested being clueless but honestly, she felt as though she'd feel ten times better that way.

"Jisung wasn't the first one she saw. In fact, once she helped him. I never knew why she'd do such a thing. I mean it wasn't in her nature but then I realised a couple of days ago when I visited the hospital. She loves him. That's why she won't let anyone arrest him."

"If she helped him then why did he kill her for witnessing Jisung's murder?"

"He doesn't know."

"How does he not know?"

"The man pretended to be dead so he wouldn't be stabbed anymore. Liv watched this and while the man was struggling to get help, she attacked him."

A lone tear rolled down Maya's left cheek. Her heart sank as she realised she knew nothing about her two best friends. Her heart ached more than before – a feeling the girl would have thought was impossible.

"How do you know all this?" She asked as her voice shook.

"I had a friend who also witnessed it. He reported it all to me that night however, he didn't go unnoticed. The following night he too was stabbed."

"If you lost two people close to you then why don't you get Jinnie arrested?"

"Because Liv said-"

"Liv's dead, she won't know."

"Liv's in a coma. She's not dead."

Maya sighed, realising how the tables had turned. She admitted she wanted to keep rooting for both Hyunjin and Liv but she was just so overwhelmed with anger, it just seemed to shadow over anything else.

"She's not coming out, Lix."

He looked down at his lap and Rosie noticed a tear fall to the ground.

"I know." He looked back at her not long later with a confused expression. "Hyunjin's your best friend though. Why do you want him arrested?"

"He's killed so many people. I just feel like if he doesn't get in trouble for it, he'll just do it again and again and to people who don't even deserve it but I don't want them to execute him. Seven years in prison would possibly be enough."

"You do realise Seungmin's in charge of this case, right? Maybe you can blackmail him so he would only send Hyunjin to jail for that long."

"Seungmin doesn't want anything to do with me. He says I'm a distraction."

"Why? What did you do?"

"He knows I know who the assailant is but I wouldn't spill and I guess that annoyed him."

"What exactly has he said?"

"Well... he's said a lot but the most peculiar thing he has said was that I should stop acting as though I know nothing because I'm just making it worse for myself. Do you by any chance know what he means by that?"

"No but you need to remember that Seungmin has been working on this case longer than you've known about it. Luckily, it's clear that you aren't the murderer."

"Really? Do you think he knows Jinnie's the person he's looking for?"

"I don't know but what I do know is that he's close to finding out." Silence engulfed the room for a moment before Felix's face dropped. "I think I just realised what he meant by you're making it worse for yourself."

"What is it?"

"I think the reason he's close is... because of you."

"What?"

"Every time you lie, your hands tremble."

"Really? Why hasn't anyone told me about this? Wait... How do you know that?"

Lix simply shrugged.

"Liv used to talk about you a lot. I also think it's safe to say I've been doing a lot of stalking."

Maya gave him a shocked look before brushing it off. That was a topic for later on.

"Has Seungmin mentioned anything about Hyunjin?" Lix asked

"No... Well, he did say I was working with the assailant."

His eyes widened as he stood up in shock.

"And what did you say?"

Maya gulped.

"I said no."

I'm so sorry if this story seems all over the place and all, I wrote it two years ago and was too lazy to rewrite it like Taurus and Until Then. I bet it would have been better if I rewrote it though. There's a lot of mistakes and I feel really bad. Maybe later on I'll rewrite another Seungmin FF.

Also, if you see Bam in this story, it's meant to be Lix (Felix).

And, in case you didn't quite get it, the end basically means Seungmin knows Maya is working with the stabber because she lied and her hands shake when she lies.
