^^^The teaser literally came out yesterday and I'm in love with them. So happy Chaeryeong is finally going to debut. I watched her in Sixteen and she was one of my biases. Please read the A/N after the chapter for an announcement^^^

Maya watched everything Seungmin and Tzuyu were doing to each other through her peripheral vision and inwardly groaned, however, she tried to smile just so Hyunjin wouldn't become suspicious. When he began laughing at a pun he had made, Maya faked a laugh and replied with another bad pun before laughing again, gaining the detective's attention. She smiled to herself, happy that she managed to distract him from the gorgeous girl beside him.

In all honesty, Maya knew she was jealous. Tzuyu was an incredibly good-looking girl and was frickin' adorable whereas Maya thought she lacked on the cute side and was nowhere near as beautiful as the girl. However, Tzuyu, on the other hand, was jealous of Maya as well. In fact, she loathed the American girl not only because she found her pretty but since all the cute boys hung out around her. Several times had she tried to win over Hyunjin but never once did he listen to her.

The American girl had always known that Tzuyu hated her and knew it was because of Hyunjin but she had never expected her to stoop as low as to steal a new boy's heart. It was clear that he had no idea what he was getting himself into by being so kind to her. It made Maya feel like vomiting just watching the Taiwanese girl pretending to be shy.

Finally, Hyunjin noticed the scowl on Maya's face and gave her a pout.

"What's wrong?" he asked, gaining the girl's attention again.

"Sorry, it's just...nothing."

"Come on, you can tell me. You trust me, right?"

"Yes, Jinnie."

"Then tell me." 

Rose looked back to where the two were standing and immediately her eyes widened. Seungmin was lifting up Tzuyu's head with his index finger then he said something that made the girl blush. Maya bit down hard on her lip, so hard that she began to taste blood. Hyunjin's eyes followed his best friend's and he felt his heart break – a feeling that was now normal for him.

"I hate her," he heard the girl opposite him whisper before suddenly, Tzuyu pulled Seungmin and dashed out of the cafeteria. Maya slammed her hand onto the table in frustration. Hyunjin clenched his fists. That was when he promised himself that one day he'd kill him.

Sorry for the short chapter but I honestly couldn't think of anything else.

Anyway, I'm planning on writing an Itzy fanfic. I don't know which member it will be for (please suggest) but I guarantee the first chapter will be out before their debut.
