I was walking home, partly over the moon because of my date with Jimin and partly feeling guilty. The thing was that I knew that Taehyung was right, I was crushing on Jimin but I had never experienced love, and honestly this will sound strange; I was not sure if I was capable of it. Sure, I cared a lot about my friends and I loved my grandmother, but if I sometimes saw my classmates in a relationship I was sure that those feelings were unknown to me.  

Last year I even got the nickname of heartbreaker because I dated guys but I knew I wasn't in love so I broke things off, leaving them sad. I didn't want that with Jimin.

The following day I arrived late at school and this, in my case, was not uncommon but also not great. I rushed to class, hoping that I was able to make it just in time. As I opened the door the bell rang indicating classes were starting. 

   'Miss y/n, you seem to be really just in time' the teacher sighed while slightly shaking his head. I bowed to apologize and rushed to my seat.

As soon as the bell rang for the break Yeji came my way, she radiated pure excitement. 

     'y/n, Taehyung is throwing a party at his house coming Saturday for all seniors. we have to go!'

A party? 

The idea surely made me excited, though I thought about the plan that I already made with Jimin which was on the same night. 

I frowned 'oh, I can't go, I will be going to the movies with Jimin, remember?'

Yeji's smile disappeared and she sighed 

     'Can't you go another day to the movies, I know you like parties, maybe ask Jimin to come along?' 

I definitely had a difficult time choosing because a party like this was not held every week or month for that matter, plus I was rather curious to see where Taehyung was living. but I already made plans and I should stick to them, even though it would be easy to go another evening.

Then I saw Jimin wave at me from a distance, his smile was one of the few things that brought me actual joy. A smile creeped up my face and I shook my head at Yeji,

   'I am sorry but I will go to the movies as I had planned, I am sure you will enjoy yourself just fine without me'

Yeji pouted at me

  'Well yes, but it will be much less fun'

I grabbed her arm      

      'Let's go shopping for an outfit to dress to impress, and actually also for my date' 

She chuckled      'fineeeee'

Taehyung pov

It was already Friday's last class, thank lucifer (lololol). 

As I walked in I noticed y/n wasn't in her seat, I scanned the room again but nothing. I walked to Yeji

     'tell me where y/n is' I stated looking deep in her eyes and as a zombie she answered 'y/n is in the woods with seo-joon, she will skip class'. 

Before the teacher arrived I quickly left the classroom and I made my way to the woods. Indeed as Yeji had mentioned I found y/n at the entrance of the woods, sitting on a branch with Seo-joon.

    'Hey Taehyung what are you doing here?' Seo-joon waved at me, his eyes red and his voice slower than normal.

Y/n also looked at me with big eyes 

    'Shouldn't you be in class?' she asked but almost like a child.

   'Shouldn't you?' I asked raising my eyebrow, Seo-joon and y/n exchanged a look and both laughed out loud as if I just said the funniest thing ever. 

It confused me though, but in a way this sparked some hope, I had to show the girl her own bad side and so far I only saw her acting properly and good, but skipping class and doing drugs? Definitely a surprise. 

   'Do you want some?' y/n asked 'TIK' seo-joon suddenly shouted 'TOK' y/n shouted and he handed her the joint,

     'Sorry taehyung, she was quicker' Seojoon explained to me as if I was really interested in doing that as well. 

It was weird to see them this way 'are you alright?' seo-joon asked while getting up and putting an arm around me. 

I shrugged his arm off my shoulder and sat down next to y/n.      

    'Isn't this unlike you?' I asked her, 

She chuckled  'and how exactly do you think you know "what is like me"?' 

Seo-joon laughed  'point of advice my friend, leave her be, she has some unexplainable duality'

y/n pushed him off the branch which made them both laugh 'you would know, you have known me my whole life, that's why I like to chill with you, no judgements'

She turned to me and I smirked with a nod 'fine I won't judge' 

She reached out her hand to my face 

    'can I pleaseeeeeee go through your hair, it will be the most amazing feeling to go through those long curls, I mean S-JEE doesn't have hair' y/n whined. 

I chuckled because it was as if she was a kid who was at a zoo being ready to pet the animals 'sure' and so she started to pet my hair, nothing sexual. It just seemed to make her happy. 

y/n pov

It was the day, the day of my date with Jimin. Safe to say I was freaking out, the closer the agreed time of the date came the more I was uneasily walking around the house. 

Wasn't Saturday supposed to be a relaxing day?

     'Y/n is everything okay?' my grandmother looked a bit worried 'yes uhm well so I will be going out tonight remember I told you' Grandma chuckled 

   'Are you perhaps going on a date with a boy?'

My eyes widened and my cheeks flustered 'how do you know?'

    'You are looking very nice plus I hardly saw you this nervous before, will you tell me who he is?'

   'He joined our school this year and is really really kind'    I said a little bit sheepishly 

   'Well in that case I hope you have a wonderful time' Grandma answered with a smile 

When it was finally time I kissed my grandmother goodbye and left the house. 

I walked hurriedly towards the cinema. My heart was beating against my chest.

My nervosity seemed to make my hands a little sweaty then I saw him standing.      

     'Y/n you look beautiful' he said in a soft voice, 

    'You too' I replied because he truly did. He wasn't wearing light colors this time, but a dark green sweater. 

     'I am so sorry for being late' I quickly added

    'Don't worry about it. Let's go inside'

During the movie we shared a popcorn but nothing super exciting happened. As in he didn't try to put his arm around me (which was a classic move guys often tried), or even take my hand while I did make it fairly easy for him to do so. 

    'So did you like the movie?' I asked as we exited the theatre and Jimin nodded enthusiastically

    'It was so romantic' he let out. 

I nodded my head in agreement 

  'uhm y/n do you maybe want to go for ice-cream? I think something must still be open' Jimin asked while he gazed at me. 

A warm fuzzy feeling filled me inside

      'Yes that sounds nice'

Was I beaming with excitement? 

Absolutely, because I didn't want to part with him just yet.
