- Chapter Nine -

You were sitting at the cyber desk, reading as you heard he Hydra-loop door opened. When you glanced up, you saw Perry with a girl by her side.

"Welcome to Perry's Paradise Resort!" Perry greeted, quite loudly, "Don't worry about your bags, one of the robot Bell Hops will get them," Perry clapped her hands, as Adam ran over.

"Aw, yeah. Suitcase SLED!" Adam yelled, going onto the suitcase and sliding away.

"You remember my sweet niece Kerry," Perry spoke, as she walked over to Chase and Bree.

"No, but would your evil niece Kerry like to introduce us?" Bree asked, stepping closer to Perry who just smiled.

"She's staying for the weekend, give her a room with a view. Here you go," Perry stated, handing Chase a piece of paper.

"This is money from a board game," Chase deadpanned.

"And there's plenty of more where that came from," Perry said to him.

"Don't worry, I won't be a bother. You won't even know I'm here! I just want to spend some quality time with my favorite Aunt Terry," Kerry smiled, hugging Perry.

You could sense that Kerry wasn't as sweet as she introduced herself. You had great sense of judgment, and Bree ranted off to you, and showed you what Kerry had done in the past. This weekend was going to be interesting.

"Well, I have been accused for being fun, and of identity theft," Perry smiled, catching you a bit surprised. Being fun? and identity theft? Perry had some serious problems.

"You're not fooling us, Kerry. You act all nice until your aunt's gone. Then you go off and trip roller skaters, and sell ice packs to the injured," Chase explained.

"My sweet niece would never do that. Everyone knows that the roller rink in my turf!" Perry stated, threatening.

Then you spotted Douglas walking by, with Leo behind.

"Dougie!" Perry hugged Douglas and turned to talk to Kerry, "Kerry, I would like you to meet your future uncle, Douglas."

"I heard so much about you. You're the one obsessed with my aunt," Kerry shook Douglas' hand.

"Yeah, she is a uh, handsome woman," Douglas gestured, awkwardly. Well this was going to be interesting, seeing Douglas play along.

"Settle down Romeo, they're kids here," Perry chuckled, making you scrunch your nose in disgust, "C'mon, help me get her room ready," Perry stated, as she walked away.

"Be right there!" Douglas commented, before running away to who knows where.

"So, this is the monster who owned you two last year?" Leo asked, walking over to Bree and Chase, "What did she do, Not invite you to her tea party?" Leo laughed, as Kerry did also until she had a evil look in her eye.

"Keep talking and I'll snap those little twigs you call arms," Kerry threatened.

"Woah, woah, woah, these are bionic twigs," Leo informed, as Kerry looked like she wasn't buying any of it, "Well, this one. From here, down," Leo gestured, from his elbow to his fingers.

"So, what's your game, Kerry? Why are you really here?" Bree asked.

"Gotta lay low till the heat blows over. Got sloppy on my last job back at the Creek," Kerry explained.

"What did you do this time?" Chase asked, as if it were normal.

"Till the witness wakes up, nothing. Just stay out of my way, and I'll stay out yours," Kerry walked away.

"Hey! She took my wallet!" Chase yelled.

As he was about to after her, he got jerked back, realizing that he was handcuffed to Bree.

"Haha! Oh, man she owed you guys again," Leo laughed, only to fall down with his feet chained together.

You twirled your locket clock between your fingers. You had noticed Kerry do all those things she did, without anyone noticing her. You were trained to be like that, so it wasn't hard to spot Kerry cuff Chase and Bree, and chain Leo's legs. She may be slick, but you were far better, and boy was this was going to be fun.

The next morning, you had woken up early and headed to the living quarters, were the Davenports were at. You were bored, honestly and didn't want to wait for the morning alarm to go off. When you entered the room, you saw the Davenport duo sleeping, and Leo sleeping also. You went over to Leo and shook him, telling him to wake up.

"Five more minutes," Leo mumbled, pulling the blanket over his head.

"Fine, just five more."

You sat on the other couch, leaning back as you closed your eyes, only to open them when the alarm went off, signaling that the mentors were awake.

"Ah, morning. Another day, another chance to make the world a better place," Chase smiled, causing you to groan.

After a minute, you heard a cracking sound, making you look up to see Chase, picking up a shattered tablet or more specifically; Leo's tablet.

"Leo's tablet. Someone's been in here, we must haven't heard them, since we were in our capsules. Leo, wake up. Did you hear anything, someone broke in," Chase explained.

"No, but I am a really deep sleeper. I cannot tell you how many times I've woken up in a body bag," Leo explained, chuckling.

"Did you hear anything?" Chase asked, looking at you.

"No, I just got here a few minutes ago. But my best guess is that it was Perry's niece," you shrugged.

"Wow, you got schooled by a toddler again?" Leo asked, chuckling.

"She broke your tablet," Chase informed.

Leo then jumped off the couch, with an evil glare, "Bring her to me," Leo said, darkly.

Bree then super sped out of the room, bringing Kerry back a moment later, who was wearing a leopard print onesie.

"Woah, you're fast. Homely, but fast," Kerry stated.

"We know what you did," Bree commented, looking at Kerry.

"Yeah, and the thing with the handcuffs? You've been going to magic school!" Adam exclaimed, causing you to roll your eyes.

"You're going to replace everything you broke, or stole," Chase told Kerry.

"I didn't do it!" Kerry defended herself.

"Well, that clears it up, back to bed," Adam spoke, turning back to the capsules as Kerry went to walk away.

"Hey! You're not going anywhere," Chase went to stop her.

"AUNT TEEEERRRRYYYY!!!"

You covered your ears as Chase did the same, screaming. Damn that girl had a loud mouth!

"Shut that thing up!" you yelled, still covering your ears.

"Did it ever occur to you that we have bionic hearing?!" Chase motioned, towards the both of you.

"No, but good to know. AUNT TEEERRRRYYYY!!" Kerry yelled, once more.

Chase yelled again, as you winced in pain, "Shut it up! Shut it up!" you yelled.

Perry then stalked into the room, wearing the same onesie's pajamas as Kerry.

"What is all the yelling about?! I haven't even had time to put my face on," Perry explained.

"Wait, that thing is removable?!" Leo asked.

"You're precious little niece, ransacked the place," Bree explained, to Perry.

"I don't know what they mean Aunt Terry! I was sound asleep, dreaming of cute little kittens, but I was ripped out of bed by this she-man!" Kerry explained, referring to Bree.

"How dare you accuse my sweet little angel? Me, I get. Cousin Cletus, Grandma Flat Nose, the Pug Twins, absolutely. Valentine, definitely. But her, impossible!" Perry shook her head.

"You call your grandmother, 'Grandma Flat Nose?'" Chase asked.

"Well, not to her face, it's kind of hard to look at," Perry explained, "I can prove that Kerry's innocent, we'll just check the security footage," Perry informed.

As you all checked the footage, it was static.

"The monitor's broken. I can't pull up the security footage," Chase explained, to you all.

"It's okay, I'll fix it. I can fix anything. I used to be the lead technician for NASA," Perry confirmed.

"You worked for NASA?" Bree asked, in disbelief.

"Yeah. The North American Sumo Association. I put the pins on the diapers," Perry explained, causing you to sigh.

Perry then walked over to the screen, banging on the screen, yelling 'fixy' over, and over again. As Chase pulled Perry away.

"Wow, that certainly did the job," you pointed out, sarcastically.

"It's not working because..." Chase walked over to the cyber desk, holding up a bunch of tangled wires, "Someone fried the server. The camera's are down," Chase explained.

"You knew you'll get busted, so you destroyed the evidence!" Bree glared, at Kerry.

"Actually, that's pretty smart," you commented, making Bree and Chase glare at you.

You held your hands in surrender, as you took a step back. You all then heard Leo.

"Guys, get in here quick!"

You all then ran into the training area, seeing every piece of equipment, destroyed into pieces.

"What do you have to say for yourself now, Kerry?" Leo asked.

"That you people are slobs," Kerry replied.

"Look, you're niece is playing you. The whole sweet and innocent thing- it's an act," Chase said to Perry.

"Aunt Terry, I didn't do this!" Kerry cried out.

"Of course you didn't, I'm going to catch the real person, even if I have to stay up all night. Which will be easy, since I spent the winter in hibernation," Perry explained, walking away with Kerry.

"That proves it. She's an animal," you pointed out, as Leo nodded in agreement.

The next morning, you heard that Perry was down, which made you run down the hallway. Bree then jogged in place next to you, as well as Adam, Chase, and Leo. You didn't even have to ask, you knew that they had received the news also.

"What happened?" Leo asked, as you all entered the Hydra-loop area.

You saw Douglas leaning over Perry, who was still out cold, past out on the floor.

"Someone must've attacked her, and I was about to check on her, but I needed one of you guys to make sure she was really unconscious- before I get my face too close," Douglas explained.

Who could blame him though? You sure as heck weren't going to do the same. Chase then ran over to Perry, and checked her pulse.

"I think she's going to be okay," Chase assured.

"What, are you a doctor now?" Adam asked.

"I checked her pulse," Chase stated.

"Oh, sorry. I wasn't making fun of you. I was seeing if you could check out this rash," Adam said, turning around to show his behind.

You all made a disgusted face as you spoke, "Now is not the time Adam."

"Oh, my head," Perry moaned, as Chase helped her up.

"Douglas, get her to the infirmary," Chase said.

"Good idea. Let's put her down, humanely," Douglas commented, as he waved some of the students off, to take Perry away.

"I can't believe that Kerry would hurt her own aunt, just to get away with more crime," Bree spoke, in disbelief.

"It doesn't make sense. What if it's not her?" Chase asked.

"Chase is right, why would Kerry do that to her aunt?" you pointed out.

"Well, who would want to hurt Perry? Correction: Who would actually hurt Perry?" Leo asked.

"Let's think this through. First, Leo's tablet was damaged, maybe someone was trying to find classified information, but couldn't figure out the password, so they tossed it aside. Then the criminal disabled the security cameras because they didn't want anyone tracking their moves. When Perry started pursuing them, they probably took her out," Chase explained.

"Guys, look," Leo pointed to the Hydra-loop, seeing the computer fried, "They took out the Hydra-loop too. Whoever did this trapped us on the island."

"Wait, those burn marks are from bionics. The last time something happened like this, Sebastian was leading a rebellion. Guys, there's still a rebel living among us," Chase informed, as you all stood silent, soaking in the information.

"How could there still be a rebel here?" Bree asked.

"I don't know, but everyone's a suspect," Chase answered.

"Well, isn't this great," you stated, sarcastically.

"You! I knew it was you all along," Adam pointed at Chase.

"I was with you the whole time!" Chase slightly yelled.

"Me! I knew it was me all along," Adam pointed to himself, causing you to shake your head.

"Sebastian's rebellion almost destroyed this academy. I'm not gonna let it happen again," Chase told you all.

'That's were you're wrong! We will take this place down into ruins!'

'No we won't, we will keep this place protected!'

"Everyone back to your dorm! You're on locked down till further notice!" Chase announced, making the students leave.

"That means you too," Chase spoke, looking at you.

"Me? I'm not going. I'm helping you, whether you like it or not," you stated, holding your ground.

Chase knew you could protest all day, so he just agreed, "Fine."

"Good idea, we keep them there until we question everybody," Bree nodded her head.

Once all the students evacuated the area, you spotted Douglas and Kerry, leading out Perry who sang 'Here comes the bride.' Kerry then pulled out a stool, letting Perry sit down.

"Good news is; she checked out okay. The bad news is; she checked out okay," Douglas informed.

"Okay, what happened? Who attacked you?" Bree asked, Perry.

"Uh, I'm still a little foggy, but I remember being on the front lines. Then, out of the darkness, eleven giant guys in helmets started to charge at me. No, wait. That was when I ran onto the field during the bears game."

"That was you?! I thought that was a mascot!" Leo said, in disbelief.

"So, you don't remember being shot at?" you asked.

"Look, all I know is that some bionic freak attacked me, and I could really use a hug," Perry held her arms out to Douglas, as Kerry stepped back. Smart girl.

Douglas barely opened his arms, before pulling back, "Nope, can't. Sorry."

"Look, we have to stop that rebel. We'll split up and patrol the academy, any questions?" Chase asked, as Kerry stepped up.

"Yeah. Now that you knew it wasn't me, is there something you'll like to say?" Kerry asked.

"Yes!" Chase said, making Kerry's eyebrows raise, "Can I please have my wallet back."

Later that night, you all split up around the academy. You held a flashlight and you had a comm, that Douglas had given everyone to communicate with one another. You were with Chase, surprisingly. Everyone had covered a certain area, you wanted to help Bree cover the dorms, but before you could've asked, she was already gone.

It was either pair up with Chase or Perry, and honestly, you didn't want to be with Perry, for many obvious reasons, so you just paired with Albert Einstein instead.

As you looked around, holding the flashlight, Chase began to speak into the comm, "Three-AM, common area is clear."

You used your bionic hearing, to listen to any approaching footsteps, or anything out of the ordinary. As you looked around.

"Living quarters all clear," Douglas informed.

"All clear here too. Here that Douglas? I'm all alone~" Perry sang.

"Somebody else say something, please," Douglas begged.

You chuckled softly, shaking your head hearing Douglas beg, "Nah, I'm good."

"Adam, what about the weapons area?" Chase asked.

"All clear in the boom-boom room," Adam replied, as he made pterodactyl noises? Or was that raptor noises? You had no idea, what that boy was doing, nor did you want to know either.

"Checked the capsules dorm three times, still clear," Bree informed, as you hear clicking noises on the other end. You rolled your eyes, knowing that she was texting.

"Are you texting?" Chase asked, as you walked the opposite direction, checking the hallways.

"No."

"I can still hear you."

You shook your head, listening to Bree texting, as you looked around.

"Fine, I'll stop."

You still heard her texting, until Chase pulled out his phone and looked at it.

"Chase is a jerk? I think you sent this to the wrong person!"

"Nope!"

You chuckled softly, as you made your way over to Chase, still looking around.

"You know, she may be right, but I don't think you're a jerk," you stated.

"Really?"

"No," you deadpanned.

You were using his words against him, when he wouldn't take to the mainland. Chase just looked at you as you smiled.

"I'm kidding. Hey, how's the training room Leo?" you asked, but heard no reply.

"Leo? Leo? Guys, he's not responding!" Chase called out.

"Everyone get down here now!" you ordered, as you and Chase ran into the training area.

When you both ran in, he was no where to be seen.

"Where did he go?" you asked, glancing around the training area.

"I don't know," Chase replied.

After a few minutes, everyone came rushing in.

"Has anyone seen Leo?" Chase asked everyone.

"Yes. He's a sixteen-year-old male, about five foot seven, and answers to the name Leo," Adam answered.

"Guys, I know you're fearing the worst, but you have to remember, it's only Dooley," Perry shrugged, as you rolled your eyes.

Then there was an explosion coming from the other side of the academy.

"Oh, no. That's the weapons area, let's go!" Chase spoke, as you all ran towards the weaponry area.

When you all entered, there was a fire. Luckily, Adam used his lung capacity to blow out the flames.

"That was close, the rebel almost blew up the whole academy," Chase sighed.

Then, you all heard a yell come from Douglas, "Of course, its you. No, no, no, no, please don't hurt me! AHHH!!!"

"DOUGLAS!!!" Perry yelled, pushing you into Adam as she ran out. Adam caught you just in time, preventing you from falling.

"You alright?" Adam asked, as you stood up.

"Yeah, I'm fine," you smiled reassuringly.

When you all ran to the living quarters, your gaze landed on Douglas, who was laying on the floor.

"No! The one person I care about!" Perry yelled, as you all rushed towards Douglas.

"First Perry, now Douglas? The rebel is trying to take us out one by one. We're officially under attack," Chase informed you all.

'That's what you need to do, but better. Take them out one by one.'

'No, you don't need to take them out. You are so much better than that.'

"Aw, man really it's the weekend," Adam sighed.

Then, there was another explosion, causing the whole academy to shake, snapping you out of your daze. Perry assured you all that she was going to take care of Douglas, which made you all run out. You just prayed that Douglas would be okay, being taken care of by a madwoman.

When you got to the training area, there was another blast coming from the training area.

"The rebel is in the training area!" Bree exclaimed.

"Aw, man. I didn't know that the gym was open twenty-four hours," Adam commented.

"Lets do this," Chase spoke, looking at you three.

Before you guys could walk forward, the door got blasted. When the doors open, you got ready to attack, but when they walked out, you noticed that it was Leo.

"Leo? What is going on? Who else is in there?" Bree asked, as Douglas ran in.

"No one. Leo is the one whose been attacking us," Douglas answered, breathlessly.

"Oh, I knew it! Leo is the rebel, who else wanted to take over the island? Wait, why is Leo the rebel?" Adam asked, confused.

Before Douglas could answer, Leo threw his laser sphere, making you all duck and hide behind a column.

"What is wrong with him?" Bree asked.

"He's sleep walking because his bionics are going haywire! He's not rebelling he's in a bionic trance," Douglas explained.

"I'm in a trance, watching you talk all sciencey," Perry smiled dreamily, at Douglas.

"Now is not the best time to flirt Perry!" you grunted, as you got pushed up against Chase.

Leo threw another sphere, making you all run for cover.

"Your capsules calibrate your bionics with your nervous system, but since Leo doesn't have a capsule. Everything is out of whack!" Douglas explained to you all.

"So, technically this is all your fault for not giving him one," Chase pointed out.

"C'mon! He's barely bionic!"

Leo threw another sphere, making you all duck for cover, once again. Chase pulled you against him, behind a column. You saw Bree and Adam behind one as well, and Doulas and Perry hiding together behind a column also.

"That's it, I'm waking him up," Adam spoke.

"No, no. The sudden stimulation could cause his arm to glitch even more! Right now, it's firing externally. If his laser spheres backfire, it could blow him apart!" Douglas explained.

"Do it! Do it! Do it!" Perry chanted.

You then saw Leo's arm began to glitch, as Chase spoke, "But if we don't do something, he's going to destroy the whole island!" he yelled.

"You guys have to find a way to contain him. Then I can recalibrate his arm!" Douglas explained.

Leo kept firing his laser spheres making you slightly shrink behind the column. When Leo threw his last sphere, it almost came in contact with you, but luckily Chase pulled you back in time. When everything stopped, you all came out, to see Leo nowhere in sight.

"He's gone," Bree stated.

"Where did he go?" you asked.

"Good! That means the gyms free. I'm gonna do some cardio," Adam went to walk away, as a explosion went off, making Adam groan.

When you all ran into the living quarters, you saw Kerry quickly drop a bag, making you raise a brow in suspension.

"Kerry, have you seen Leo?" Chase asked.

"He's a sixteen-year-old male, about five seven, and answers to the name Leo," Adam informed.

"Uh, yeah. He went somewhere else," she answered.

Everyone ran out as you and Adam stayed behind. Adam then walked toward Kerry, making her shrink back slightly.

"Hey, cool hat. I have one just like it," Adam smiled, before running back out.

You looked back at Kerry with a serious expression.

"Put all the things you stole, back," you stated, referring to the black duffle bag she dropped earlier. You were not a fool, to fall for her innocence.

"Oh, yeah? And what if I don't?" Kerry challenged, trying to size you up.

You chuckled darkly, as you bent down to her level, and looked her dead in the eye.

"If you don't. I will break all of your fingers, one by one. Then, I will move up to your arms and legs, and snap your neck. I'll say that you fell and snapped your neck while falling into the pool. You shouldn't be stealing, especially from the Davenports, do you understand?" you asked, your eyes turning dark.

She shakily nodded her head.

"Good, and if you tell anyone about this, or a living soul..." you leaned closer and whispered into her ear, "I will hunt you down, and there is nowhere you can hide, because I will find you."

You then stood up, patting her shoulder as your eyes went back to normal, before running out to find the others.

'That's my girl! Show her what you're made of.'

You all were looking around, trying to find Leo.

"How are we going to stop Leo without waking him up?" Adam asked.

"Oh, I know how to keep him asleep. Just have Chase talk to him!" Bree answered.

Chase then took out his phone, typing a message before shoving it back in his pocket.

"I just sent you a pointedly worded text!" Chase replied, causing you to roll your eyes.

Then, a high-pitched-girlish scream, was heard on the other side of the academy. Perry assumed that it was Kerry, making you all run back to the living quarters.

When you all arrived, you saw Kerry pinning Leo down. You then realized that Leo was the one who screamed, making you chuckle in amusement.

"Get her off me!" Leo screamed, making you laugh more as you all ran forward. You had a bad habit of laughing at inappropriate times.

Leo then stood up, looking terrified, "WHAT HAPPENED!!" Leo shrieked.

"You just got body-slammed by a brownie," Adam answered, causing you to smile.

"Because you and your toy arm attacked me!" Kerry exclaimed.

"What are you talking about? I was sleeping!" Leo yelled.

"Actually, you were sleepwalking. Your bionics glitched because Douglas never gave you a capsule," Chase explained.

Leo then snapped his head and glared at Douglas, with his nostrils flaring slightly.

"But I did give you bionics, let's just focus on that," Douglas stated.

"Wait, how did you subdue him without waking him up?" Bree asked Kerry.

"Oh, he woke up. Hit 'em in the right place, they always wake up," Kerry smiled.

"Well, that's one way to do it," you commented.

"She's a Perry!" Perry smiled proudly, at her niece.

There you stood in the living quarters, along with the Davenport duo, Leo, and Douglas. Douglas was done building Leo's capsule, which was pretty quick honestly, but you didn't judge the man's skills.

"Here you go, Leo. My gift to you," Douglas smiled, pulling a drape down, to reveal the tiniest capsule you had ever seen.

"I don't know what to say! Cause I don't know what it is," Leo shook his head.

"It's a capsule, for your arm," Douglas smiled, slipping the small capsule onto his arm.

You chuckled softly, as Perry walked in, "Well, Kerry's taking off. She said to thank you all for the wonderful time."

"Yeah, I bet she did. She took my necklace," Bree stated.

"And I can't find my watch," Chase added.

"And I'm still missing the rest of my capsule," Leo also added, casing you to shake your head.

You watched silently, as Kerry packed all the stuff she's stolen, into the Hydra-loop. Leo was by your side, as you walked forward. Before the doors could close, Leo opened it, using his bionic arm. Kerry turned to you and Leo, as she saw you crossing your arms.

"Going somewhere?" Leo asked.

"Hey, Perry! Over Here!" you called Perry over.

"Forget you saw any of this, and I'll give you half," Kerry offered.

"Half of this is mine!" Leo spoke, snatching his black shoes.

"We caught your niece, stealing," Leo gestured, as you both looked at Perry.

"Kerry, stealing has some serious consequences. What do you have to say for yourself?" Perry asked.

"Uh, I was sleepwalking," Kerry explained, smiling.

"Works for me! Say hi to your mom!" Perry waved, walking away.

"HA! See yo-"

Kerry was cut off, noticing that she was handcuffed.

"The police are on the other side. Say hi to your cell mate!" Leo smiled, walking away.

"I told you, stealing had serious consequences, but you didn't listen. Bye~" you waved, your eyes flashing to a dark color, before going back to normal.

You were wearing Adam's hat, holding Bree's necklace, and also holding Chase's watch and wallet. Kerry yelled as the Hydra-loop door closed. You then walked into the training room, and returned the stolen items, back to Adam, Bree, and Chase.

"How did you get all that? And handcuff her?" Leo asked, impressed.

"Let's just say, I have my ways," you smirked.

"You've been to magic school?!" Adam gasped, causing you all to roll your eyes.
