Bionic Action Hero P.2
- Chapter Twenty -
You followed Giselle to her lab, seeing Troy lay Chase down onto the chair.
"This wasn't part of the plan," you stated.
"Well, you were taking too long and I had to take action," Giselle replied.
"She had to come to me and help her, because you didn't do your job," Troy stated, crossing his arms.
"You shut up!" you pointed at him, "Just because you're an android and because Giselle is here, doesn't mean you can talk to me like that. As far as I know, I am the best of the best. Just cause you're an android doesn't mean you're better, I could easily take you out. Me? You can't. You know that perfectly well," you stepped up to Troy.
Troy then quickly swung you over his shoulder, striding over to a pole and tying you up. You squirmed as Troy bent down to your level.
"Yes, that may be true, but I'm here to finish what you started," Troy stated, turning around with his arms crossed.
Giselle of course did nothing. Your hands, legs, and feet were tied tightly to the pole, not giving you any space to move.
"Lock him up," Giselle commanded, as Troy flipped a switch, bounding Chase's wrists and feet to the table. Chase looked around as he looked up at Giselle, "Where am I?"
"My robotics lab. Can I get you anything? Water, tea, sharp pain in your neck as I rip out your bionic chip?" Giselle asked.
Chase fidgeted on the table as Troy spoke, "You know, I was built on this very table. Kind of funny. It's where I had my first day, and you're having your last," Troy chuckled as you rolled your eyes.
"All this technology, and you couldn't give him a sense of humor app?" Chase questioned.
"With your chip, can finally give my androids superior intelligence. And unlike bionic humans, they won't be vulnerable to things like pain, or emotion, or their lives ending," Giselle explained.
"My family will come for me," Chase replied.
"I'm sure they would if they weren't about to be involved in a terrible accident," Giselle informed, as she walked over to her desk.
"Accident? What are you talking about?" Chase asked, as Giselle pressed button, showing what was going on set.
"Ten seconds," you heard Bree inform.
"Wait. Something's weird. Why would Giselle leave all her androids behind to blow with us?" You heard Leo ask.
"Good question. You should probably ask them before they all geo-leap away," You heard Adam comment.
"Three seconds!" you heard Bree exclaim.
Then you saw the entire building explode, causing Chase to yell, "NOOO!"
"Well, that's a wrap on your family," Giselle smiled.
"Wait. What is that?" Troy asked.
You looked at the screen, seeing the Davenports escaping the building.
"They escaped!" Chase exclaimed.
"But that's impossible," Giselle said in disbelief.
"Not really. Looks like you need my bionic intelligence more than your stupid robots do," Chase smirked, as Troy walked over, "I was kidding! Please don't take it out! Please don't take it out!"
You rolled your eyes as Chase continued, "I bet my family is tracking me down as we speak."
"And when they do I'll take them out," Troy threatened.
"Oh, please like you can," you scoffed, as Troy glared at you, while Chase looked surprised. Giselle continued to ignore, to which you were slightly thankful for.
"Forget about them. It's time to remove Mr. Know-it-all's chip," Giselle explained.
"See, you think you're insulting me with that, but it's actually a compliment," Chase shrugged as you sighed. Even at the worst times Chase could be a smart-aleck.
"Oh how is it that you're the one that's strapped down and I'm the one being tortured," Giselle stated, "I'm gonna find something sharp to rip you open with," Giselle walked out.
"Ugh, sounds messy. Better go get my hairnet," Troy shrugged, walking out.
Chase then looked to the side looking at you, "They caught you too?"
"Yes, because I followed, only to be tied up. I'm glad you barely noticed me. Shows how much good eyesight you have," you spoke sarcastically.
Chase then fumbled, trying to get out of the restrains. He looked around and spotted the release, "Oh, c'mon. Why does the release have to be all the way over there? [Name] can you reach it?"
You looked to the side, seeing that the release was about five feet away, "You know, Chase. I would love to help," you stated calmly as you began to shout, "If I wasn't bound to a pole and not to mention, five feet away from the release!"
Chase groaned as he spoke, "Doesn't matter. Mr. Know-it-all has molecular kinesis. It's go time boys."
You rolled your eyes as Chase got the release to twitch. After a moment, he got to move it half way down.
"Oh, yes! C'mon, c'mon," he muttered, as he got to switch the release fully. He then jumped up and landed on his feet.
"Great, now can you untie me?" you asked, as Troy and Giselle walked in.
"How'd you get out?" Giselle asked.
"I'd tell you, but then I'd have to destroy you. Eh, I'm gonna destroy you anyway. It was molecular kinesis," Chase explained, as he held his fingers to his lips.
Troy then walked forward, swiping off his hairnet, "Hold my hairnet."
Troy walked forward, as Giselle spoke, "Good luck. Troy is programmed with every form of martial arts. And if that doesn't work, he's a biter."
Then Troy sent a kick to Chase as they both began fighting. Troy may be a good fighter, but you were sure a lot better, heck even Chase was. Even if Troy was programmed with every form of martial arts, you would still take him down. When you both would train, he would bite you if you had the upper hand, which was usually all the time.
Just because Troy was an android doesn't mean he was better. Since he was an older model, he couldn't do as much as you could, leaving you to always have the upper hand. If Troy wasn't such an old model and was newer, he would've been the best, but since he was an older model, you became top dog.
Chase punched Troy's stomach, causing him to hurt himself.
"Abs of steel, brah. Literally," Troy explained, as he kicked Chase to the ground.
As Troy walked away, Chase stood holding his hands out, causing Troy to stop moving.
"What is happening?" Troy asked, as he got pulled back.
"It's called a magnetism app. And this is called reversing polarity...brah," Chase mocked, as he flung Troy across the lab, "Were you going to waste my super intelligence on that hunk of junk? Even his ponytail is dated."
"Of course not. Troy is the old model. It took me twenty years to get him programmed at this level, and he's still unreliable," Giselle explained.
"What did I tell you Troy, twenty years and I'm still better," you whispered as he glared.
"Your intellect's going into my new fleet of androids," Giselle stated.
"What?" Troy asked.
Giselle then pressed a button, to reveal an android, "Say hello to the future," she pressed another, to reveal the android as an old fat guy, "Each android takes the appearance of whatever human I programmed it to be. That way, they can blend in with the rest of the population. This is my uncle Jerry."
"So a fifty-year-old with a gut? No offense, but the only thing Uncle Jerry could destroy is a hoagie," Chase shrugged, as Jerry blasted Chase's feet, causing him to fall.
"If you think that hurt, wait to you meet my Aunt Betty," Giselle stated as she walked out.
"Chase, now would be a good time to untie me," you commented, as Giselle waked right back in.
"Put him on the table," Giselle commanded, as Jerry restrained Chase on the table, before knocking him out.
Giselle then began typing away as her phone started to ring. As she answered the call, you saw Douglas flash on the screen.
"Hey, Giselle. It's Douggie."
"You called my cellphone?" Giselle asked in disbelief, "I abducted one of your bionic kids and you called my cellphone?"
Then you saw Douglas run, disappearing from the screen, as you heard him and what sounded like Leo arguing. You rolled your eyes as Douglas popped on the screen again.
"So, just calling to say hey. Quick question, I know it's been about twenty years, but have you seen my gray hoodie?"
"Give it up, Douglas. I know you're trying to trace me. You're too late," Giselle leaned to the side, revealing Chase, who was still out cold.
"Hey, is that Uncle Jerry?" Douglas asked, "Where have you been man? You dropped out of our fantasy football league."
"Uncle Jerry is one of my new androids. I can give him whatever human form I want, see?" Giselle then clicked a button, causing Jerry's clothes to appear all black as his hand transformed into blades.
This freaked Chase out as he began to squirm on the table. You looked to the screen, seeing Adam, Bree, and Leo about to leave.
"You can't leave now. You have company," Giselle explained, as she pressed a button.
~~~~~
You were still tied up, Chase was still restrained, and Giselle was sharping Jerry's blade fingers. Giselle hasn't acknowledged you once, but you were revealed. You had no idea how your cover hasn't been blown yet, since Giselle could easily tell Chase and the Davenports that you were working beside her, but she hasn't.
You thought that it was apart of her plan someway, somehow. Because she could easily tell them who you were, but she hasn't made a move. You didn't know why, but you weren't complaining. So you decided to stay quiet and stay in the shadows.
"Adam and Bree are here," Troy informed, as you looked at the screen, seeing Adam and Bree on the security footage.
"I knew they'd come for me. How'd I know? Because I'm...well, if my hands were free, I'd be pointing to my head saying BRILLANT" Chase exclaimed.
"Maybe we should sedate him," Troy suggested, "Not for the pain, I'm just sick of hearing him talk."
Giselle shook her head, "They may have gotten passed one android, but let's see how they do with ten of them."
"No!" Troy stopped Giselle, "I may be one of your older models, but I can easily take those two."
"Then do it," Giselle stated as Troy walked out, "And you get cutting," Giselle commanded Jerry as she walked out.
"No, please! Wait! Stop, please!" Chase exclaimed as he yelled, as Jerry brought his blade fingers down.
"Jerry!" you shouted, catching the android's attention, "Hey, big guy. How about you cut him later, and untie me okay?"
Jerry kept his attention on you, as you saw Chase trying to use his molecular kinesis.
"I'll get you anything you want, how about that?"
Then, Chase directed Jerry using his molecular kinesis to cut himself free. Once Chase was free he quickly took him down. Once he was down, Chase ran over and started to untie you. After a few moments you were free.
"Thanks for untying me, now any tricks up your sleeve?" you asked.
"Yes I do," Chase replied as he went over to Giselle's desk and started to type away.
"What are you doing?" you questioned, as you saw a diagram on the screen.
"I'm making a replica of myself, so it'll make Giselle think that she succeeded," Chase explained, keeping his eyes on the screen.
'Kill him. Don't you want Giselle to be happy and prove Troy that you're better.'
'Don't kill him. You don't have to prove anything.'
You shook your head, getting rid of the voices as you saw Chase struggling slightly.
"Here, let me help," you took over, designing the replica.
"How'd you learn to do this?" Chase question as you shrugged, "I learned and picked up a few things about modeling and robotics."
After awhile of designing and modeling the finishing touches of the replica, you and Chase placed the replica onto the table, inspecting it.
"So, how does it look?" Chase asked, as you scanned the replica of Chase.
"Well he looks just like you," you smiled.
"I know. Now help me with Jerry," Chase stated, as he held Jerry's upper body as you held his lower body.
"Man, what does this guy eat? He's heavy," you huffed.
"Yeah, no kidding," Chase replied.
~~~~~
You and Chase hid behind the door, holding Jerry up. You and Chase looked at one another as you bother heard rushing footsteps from outside the door. There was two people, and judging by how heavy and light that sounded, you knew that they were Bree and Adam's footsteps. Living with them for so long, you memorized the rhythm of Davenports' footsteps.
"Chase!" you recognized the voice as Bree's.
"He's not breathing," you heard Adam say.
"There's so pulse, and [Name] is not here," Bree informed shakily.
"C'mon, Chase. Chase, c'mon," you heard Adam mutter as well as shuffling.
"Adam, Adam, Adam! It's over. He's gone and so is [Name]. And it's all my fault," you heard Bree whimper.
"I'm the worst brother ever. All I ever did was punch him and make fun of him," you heard Adam say, "I never even told him I loved him."
Your eyes soften as you looked down, listening. Then, you heard another set of footsteps enter the lab, knowing the rhythm you knew it was Giselle.
"Oh, what a shame. You arrived too late," you heard Giselle say.
"I will destroy you for what you did to him!" Adam exclaimed.
"I'm so sorry for your loss. But why mourn your brother when you can join him?"
The doors then opened as Chase pushed Jerry down, revealing you both.
"Yeah, join me in kicking your butt," Chase stated, as you saw Bree and Adam's faces morph into disbelief.
"Chase, [Name]!" Bree exclaimed, hugging you both as you kept your eyes on Giselle.
"You're alive!" Adam exclaimed, "Wait, there's two of you. I'm having very mixed emotions right now."
"How is this possible?" Giselle asked in disbelief.
"After you were gone. I used my molecular kinesis to redirect the android's blade to cut me free," Chase explained.
"Wait, then who's on the table?" Bree asked.
"My android replica. Giselle was foolish enough to show me how she makes them. So I distracted her android, and made one that looks like me," Chase explained, "When you tried to take my chip out, I took him out."
"Well done. But there's plenty more where that came from," Giselle stated as she clicked her watch.
Androids then filed into the room, surrounding you all. Then they started to get knocked down one by one. When you looked towards the entrance, there you saw Douglas and Leo.
"I guess androids aren't immortal after all," Leo stated.
"Technically, they're not dead, just deactivated," Douglas pointed out.
"It was a good line, just go with it," Leo replied.
"I am so glad that worked, because I did not want to pick thirty noses," Douglas informed, as you smiled.
"I thought I seen the last of you, Douglas," Giselle spat.
"Yeah? Well, this time I'm breaking up with you," Douglas lifted up his gun, as Troy strode in taking it, "Hey!"
"Troy, it's about time you got here," Giselle stated as Troy stood there, pointing the gun at you and the Davenport trio, "What are you waiting for? Take them out!"
"Oh, I will. But I'm taking you out first," Troy pointed the gun at Giselle, catching everyone by surprise, even you. No one ever betrayed Giselle.
"What? What are you doing?" Giselle asked in disbelief.
"Surviving. You were gonna get rid of me, so I'm gonna get rid of you. And once I do, I'll be in charge of all your androids," Troy replied.
"You?" Giselle scoffed, "Please. No one's gonna take you seriously."
"Then I'll make them take me seriously. We won't just take out bionic humans. We'll take out all humans," Troy then lifted his gun pointing at Giselle, "Goodbye, Giselle."
Giselle than took cover by running behind Douglas, "Save me, and I'll get coffee with you."
Douglas looked up thinking, as Leo pulled him aside, "Douglas!"
Troy then shot, causing Giselle to fall to the ground, "Maybe now you'll take me seriously."
"Get him!" Chase exclaimed, as you all went to charge forward, as Troy grabbed Bree.
"Take one step and I'll waste her," Troy threaten.
"Adam! Use your blast wave!" Bree exclaimed.
"No, it'll take you out too," Adam disagreed.
"Troy has no regard for human life. If taking me out means saving others, then do it," Bree stated as Troy dragged her backwards.
"I can't," Adam whispered, as you glared at Troy.
"He's gonna take me out anyway. You might as well take him out too," Bree stated.
"She's right," Leo commented.
Troy chuckled, "They don't have the guts."
"It's okay," Bree stated assuring.
Leo then walked up, standing on your left as Chase stood to your right. You then felt your arms tingling, feeling the spark of electricity within your fingers. Leo lifted his hand, getting his sphere ready as Chase activated his laser bo. Adam seemed hesitant, but pulled his arms back, absorbing energy as he got ready to use his blast wave.
Troy kept backing up until he hit the sink, causing the water to turn on, making himself jump forward slightly. Bree looked at the sink, then at Troy. You knew that water would destroy Troy, and you hoped that Bree was smart enough to make the connection.
With one swift move, Bree elbowed Troy in the gut, knocking the gun out of his hand as she pulled his face near the sink.
"You owe me a swim," Bree stated, as she dunked Troy's head into the sink. Troy was electrified as he fell to the floor.
Adam then released his blast wave, causing Bree to fall to the floor.
"Adam!" Douglas exclaimed.
"What? I thought that we were doing this," Adam stated, as you zapped his rear end, causing him to yelp as you all ran over to Bree, helping her up.
"That was amazing. How did you know to do that?" Chase questioned.
"I finally realized why Troy didn't like water. Old androids must be like cell phones. Sophisticated technology, but if you drop it in water, it's ruined," Bree explained, as you smiled glad that she was able to figure it out.
"Wait, so does this mean that the role for Bionic Action Hero is up for grabs?" Adam asked.
"Wait, where did Giselle go?" Chase questioned, as you all looked back, seeing that she was gone.
"Oh, man. The good ones always get away," Douglas commented as you all glared, "I mean...oh, no."
"C'mon, let's go," Bree stated, as you all began to run out. You stopped for a moment, looking back seeing Chase talking to Adam. You smiled as you ran out, leaving them behind.
"So, where were you when Chase was restrained to the table?" Leo questioned as you jogged beside him.
"I was tied to a pole in the lab, nothing much," you shrugged as he chuckled, "So, who stuck their fingers up the android's nose at the academy?"
"I did," Leo groaned.
"Oh, you have to show me!" you smiled.
Leo looked at you sighing, "Fine, but only if we both sneak off to the main land tonight, I think we deserve it," he muttered lowly only for you to hear.
"Alright, deal," you smiled.
~~~~~
Night had already fallen by the time you all arrived back at the academy. You all sat around the table eating as Leo sat down speaking, "I can't believe that there's not going to be a movie made about us."
Douglas then spoke, "You know, I have a friend from high school who produces-"
"NO!" you all exclaimed, cutting him off.
"Chase, I'm sorry. I can't believe I trusted Troy just because he was cute, and tall, and ripped," Bree smiled dreamily.
"Yeah, well, now he's mangled, melted, and dead," Adam stated, eating a carrot as you nodded in agreement.
"Seriously, Troy was not even cute. I've seen much better," you commented, sipping your water.
"Hey, what's important is that everyone is okay," Douglas stated, "Giselle is still out there, but without her androids she's powerless. She's got nothing left."
You then looked down, yes Giselle androids might be gone, but you were all she had left. You wondered why Giselle didn't blow your cover to them. You were revealed that she didn't, but you knew that she wasn't done yet, which means that you were still on a mission.
"You alright?" Chase asked, nudging you slightly.
You looked up and smiled, "Yeah, everything is fine."
Adam then reached over, picking up one of your carrots as he ate it. You stood up, walking around the table, grabbing his collar.
"If you ever stick your fingers in my food again, they'll no longer be connected to your hand. You get me?" you asked, as he nodded fearfully.
~~~~~
You waited by the Hydra-loop area, pacing quietly back and forth. You took out your locket clock, flipping it open, seeing that Leo was running late.
After a few minutes, Leo came running in panting slightly, "Sorry I'm late. I had to wait for the trio to fall asleep."
"It's fine, let's just head get to the jet ski," you waved him to follow, as you both beagn walking.
"So, where are we going tonight?" Leo questioned, with a mischievous gleam in his eyes.
"I was thinking we could break into the mall or museum," you smirked.
"Sounds like a plan," Leo smiled.
