Allana

After we sat for hours while Ani let go of a part of his pain, noon arrived. We had to leave back to Naboo now.

I changed the nightgown I was wearing for a white skin-tight suit, a pair of boots and a cape, that didn't cover my head, just my neck. I also placed my hair up in a low bun. I grabbed a belt that held my blaster and lightsaber, the shoto one, I thought it was a better idea to bring the one that could be lost and it'll be fine...more or less.

Cleigg wanted to dedicate some words to his late wife, and we all stood there in silence listening to what he had to say. He spoke words of sadness and yet relief, relief that she was now in a better place, wherever Shmi was now. He said how much he loved her and thanked her for everything she did.

Then Anakin walked up towards her stone and kneeled down before her, his words were just a whisper. I saw how he grabbed the hot sand and held it tight in his fist. He apologised for not being strong enough to save her, but made the promise of never failing again. He also told her that he misses her, and I felt my heart breaking for him again.

Then R2 started to beep, calling everyone's attention.

"R2? What are you doing here?"  I asked. The droid beeped again.

"It seems that he is carrying a message from Obi-Wan Kenobi." 3PO told us as Anakin approached me from the back. "Master Ani, does that mean anything to you?"

Anakin and I looked at each other and after we thanked Beru and the Lars for their hospitality, we walked towards the ship.
Once there, R2 played the message, surprisingly, 3PO came with us.

"Anakin, my long-range transmitter has been knocked out, retransmit this message to Coruscant." The Master ordered, and we did as he asked. I clicked one button and the message was sent in real time to the Jedi Temple. "I have tracked the bounty hunter Jango Fett to the droid foundries on Geonosis. The Trade Federation is to take delivery of a droid army here, and it's clear that Viceroy Gunray is behind the assassination attempts on Senator Amidala." He informed and a shiver made its way through my spine, but it wasn't fear, it was anger. "The Commerce Guilds and the Corporate Alliance, have both pledged their armies to Count Dooku and are forming a-" He said and paused as he looked at something coming towards him. "Wait, wait." He said as he turned his lightsaber on as he deflected the blasts of a Destroyer.

I frowned and started to worry for the Jedi Master as my eyes traveled from the blue hologram before me to Kenobi's apprentice. Then Master Windu spoke.
"Anakin, we will deal with Count Dooku. The most important thing for you is to stay where you are. Protect Naberrie as if she's the Senator at all costs. That is your first priority."

"Understood Master." He said as his gaze fell from the hologram to his hands. After that, the transmission was over.

I looked at Ani as I created a small plan on my head.
"They'll never get there in time to save him. They have to come halfway across the galaxy, look." I told him as I turned around the pilot chair where I was sitting to the controls where I showed him how far we were. "Geonosis is less than a parsec away."

"If he's still alive." Anakin commented dryly.

"Are you just gonna sit here and let him die? He's your friend, your mentor, he's-"

"He's like my father!" He yelled. "But you heard Master Windu, he gave me strict orders to stay here!"

"Alright fine! Here's the thing Skywalker." I said as I looked deep into his blue eyes. "He gave you the order, not me." I commented as I turned around and turned the engines on. "I'm going to help Obi-Wan." I turned around to face him once more. "If your plan is to protect me, sorry, but you'll just have to come along." I started to click buttons for the ship to turn on and after I placed the coordinates, we started to fly away.

I felt Ani's smile besides me as he sat down at the co-pilot seat.

Soon enough we reached said planet. The atmosphere was orange and after a few seconds the scanners picked up something quite helpful.

"See those columns of stream right ahead?" I asked Ani, who was now piloting. He hummed in response. "They are exhaust vents of some type."

"That'll do." He said as he flew inside them. Whatever this place is, will help us hide the ship. So after we landed we got up to grab our stuff and get out to look for our friend.

"Look, whatever happens out there, just follow my lead." I said. "I'm not interested in being captured, nor starting a war." I took my robe and started to place it over my shoulders. "I may not a member of the Senate but perhaps I can find a diplomatic solution to this mess, after all, I'm still in character and I hope all the talking she has done for years helps me out right now."

He smiled at me, "Don't worry, I've given up trying to argue with you, and I'm pretty sure her talking will help."

We walked out of the ship and walked through the small hallway that was there. Everything felt hot and with loads of humidity. When we reached the end, there was a door that Anakin opened for us to walk in.

When we did, the panel closed behind us in a second and we started our way to reach the opposite end. As we did I heard a cracking, as if hundreds of insects started to move behind us. Anakin did too and we started to walk slower.

"Wait." Ani told me and then we sighed, I had a terrible feeling about this. Then one creature growled. We turned around and turned on our lightsabers. We started to fight against those few that tried to attack us while many others ran in the opposite way. "Go and open the other door!" Anakin told me and I did what he said.

Once the door was open we walked out to find an even smaller standing platform. My feet were at the edge of it as I admired the enormous droid factory that was working before my eyes, producing hundreds or thousands of droid per minute.

When the door closed behind our back, the platform started to close itself. Anakin was fast and held on to something but I lost my balance before I could grab the hand he was offering and fell down.

"Allana!" Anakin screamed as I fell yelling. My body hit the ground with a loud thud and it hurt till the damn bone but I had to get up fast if I wanted to keep my two arms and legs and my head.

I heard another thud behind me and realised that Ani fell too, well, he actually had the chance to jump. He used his lightsaber to kill some of the creatures that tried to hurt or capture him.

In front of me there was a huge platform that was smashing what is on the ground, so I rolled underneath it, but there was barely any space in between the machines, so I had to figure a way of not dying like a fucking smashed potato. I kept on jumping in between things and when I finally made it and was looking for a way of getting to another platform, one of the Geonosians grabbed my wrists and we started to struggle as I tried to push him away.

When I was about to kick it away from me and fight in a more...proper way, he pushed me backwards. I fell into a hole, it was being moved by a big machine too, so I supposed it was some kind of barrel. I tried to climb it, but it was useless, every time I made an attempt I slipped. The surface was to plane to be climbed. Suddenly I saw a machine being placed above my head, it was like an eye, when it opened something was going to fall, but it closed quickly.

Suddenly the thing where I was falling down and the vertigo feeling took over my entire body. When it hit the ground I hit my head and felt dizzy, so I rolled out of the barrel instead of walking out.

When I got up the native creatures were surrounding me, some approached by foot, others were flying, all of them pointing at me with their guns. I turned my lightsaber on and when they fired, I used the Force to place one of their own in front of me, when it was shot the others kept on coming and I defended myself but I missed one that came from behind. They shot me and my body collapsed. I fell on my knees as I groaned in pain, I tried to get back up but they fired again. I was too weak to continue an attempt of fighting so I just gave in.

As the creatures were escorting me to meet up with Dooku —who now we know is in charge— I threw my saber away, if they knew I was an impostor they'd only kill me faster. In the hallway I met Anakin, he was being escorted at gun point by the bounty hunter that has tried to assassinate my sister numerous times.

"The Senator, we finally meet."

"Face to face you mean." I said dryly as we walked in what seemed to be a Conference room.

Ani was next to me as we walked in, so far so good, no one has spotted the five differences. The Count, and ex Jedi Knight is sitting on the other side from where we are. I sat down under the expectant gaze of the people there.

"You're holding a Jedi Knight, Obi-Wan Kenobi. I'm formally requesting you hand him over to me now." I spoke fast, soft and yet cold, as I supposed my sister would've done.

"We don't recognise the Republic here, Senator." Dooku said, and even if this was not so good, I exhaled slowly, a wave of relief flooded my body. He either didn't notice or pretended that he didn't. "But," He continued. "if Naboo were to join our alliance, I can easily hear your plea with clemency." He offered and smirked.

"And if I don't join your rebellion?" I asked after a couple seconds.

"The Republic cannot be fixed Milady, it is time to start over."

"I know about your treaties the Trade Federation, the Commerce gilds and the others Count." I spit. "Oh, and not forsake I will give up all I've honoured and worked for over a year and betray the Republic."

"Without your cooperation, I've done all I can for you." He said and the Geonosian guards took us out of that room for us to face a trial.

"That went well." Anakin whispered as we were taken before the leader of this planet.

"Well? That was a tremendous disaster." I whispered back.

"No it wasn't. First of all, they didn't catch you, I'm actually starting to think that distance is perfect for people to get confused and the voice...you could be a great actress." He paused for a moment. "Second, you said exactly what I think she would've said and third, it was better than what I thought it could've been." I looked at him and he smiled at me, I smiled back.

Then, one of the guards took away my robe, ripping it away from me. Ani tried to walk towards him but was stopped by the other guard as they took off his robe too.

After that, we walked in a room full of natives and we were standing before their leader and representative, the Archduke. He told us that we were charged and found guilty of espionage.

"You're committing an act of war Archduke, I hope you're prepared for the consequences." I said and in response he said that the creation of weapons is their business and that they were prepared for them.

"Get on with it! Carry out the sentence!" A voice that both, Anakin and I, know perfectly spoke, Viceroy Gunray. "I wan't to see her suffer!"

The Archduke then told us that Kenobi was waiting for us and then we were taken to the execution arena.
