Kol had seen this as a challenge. Even though it was blatant disrespect, Kol was used to Klaus acting in this manner. 

Though that did not mean that he should've said 'no' to helping a girl that needed help. 

His anger was even stronger than before. He made a promise that he would do anything to protect this girl, and he had the full intention of keeping his promise.

"I care about Emily almost as much as you have ever care about Luna. So we are going to help her because now she's my family and I do not give up on my family. Do you?" Kol asked. 

He was using Luna in this scenario to show how much he cared about Emilly. Therefore, Klaus had understood his motivation to help the girl, he would anything for Luna if she was in this scenario. 

Klaus had chosen that he would not blame him for his actions, not this time at least. Because he would have acted in the exact same way if Luna was in trouble. 

Though, that was something that was evident from the start. 

Then, against his better judgment, Klaus had nodded his head. He had agreed to help the girl.

"What are we going against?" Freya had asked. 

That question had sparked a conversation that had lasted a very long time, at this point, the Mikaelsons the clarity that they needed about who the new enemy was. 

"There is something else, something that I have not even told Kol yet," Emily spoke. 

Emily had gained the attention of the people in the room.

" About 4000 years ago, life used to be great for those who deemed part of the supernatural community. The powers of people were accepted, and sometimes it was used for medicine at one point," Emily started.

"In my case though, there was a new issue that had happened and they needed ice for it, and therefore, she got called into what was recently called the New World. No one knew the woman's name, and she had not told anyone. We all just called her 'the woman'" Emily added on.

"The woman had lived in isolation almost for entire life. Therefore, it was difficult for her to make human interactions, and she had also deemed that all humans are beneath her. It was the truth, no one was able to compare to the power that this woman possessed, but her ideas had changed over time," Emily stated.

"I'm sorry, what does this have to do with us?" Rebekah asked. 

She did not see the connection yet, but then Emily said,

"Let me finish," Emily argued.

"She had chosen to stick to one coven, my coven. At that point, my coven was at a point where they were the most powerful in the world, and they had this woman to thank for it. Eventually, she had fallen in love," Emily added on.

"Then she had begun to build a family, and even though her powers forced her appearance to look different, that was not the case for future generations," Emily spoke.

"Up till now, no one in my bloodline has had her powers. I am the first in the last 4000 years to have her powers. That makes me the most valuable thing that the coven has, and they will do anything for power at this time. That is why they are doing this, they're doing this on the basis of their history," Emily said.

"These people will do anything in that case, because they have evidence of them being the most powerful because of these powers," Elijah stated. 

The room was silent, everyone knew that this was the truth. 

Then, Emily remembered that and Kol still needed to talk especially about what he had said to his family about her.
