1 - Vampirism
(Dino PoV)
I woke up an hour or two after I had passed out. My tongue and throat felt like sandpaper in my oddly strong thirst.
The body of the vampire lay next to me, its pale skin nearly gray in death. I stood up and backed away, brushing sand off of my hoodie.
Suddenly, I realized I could smell smoke in the air. I turned to the hill where the wedding had happened.
To be met by a raging fire storm, ravaging the small village at the hill's base.
What in-
Before I could think again, I quickly darted in the other direction, towards the military base that was basically my home.

By the time I had gotten there, my thirst was nearly overwhelming. I had a swimming headache, and my neck hurt at well. I felt it, and remembered the vampire bite in the back of my neck.
I facepalmed myself. Right. I'm surprised I didn't remember sooner.
I quickly parkoured my way over the garage-type door, not bothering to open it. I had to hurry before the others got here. If they survived, this would most likely be the place Blaza takes them.
What am I gonna say about missing the wedding? I thought. I shook the thought and continued to where I had set up my own barrack. I filed through my chests until I found some contact lenses. I quickly put them in as to cover my eyes, which, if I was correct, would be red because of my newfound vampirism. I would have to do something about my thirst before I got around other people. Sighing, I quickly raced back out of the base and bolted off into the woods.

The group finally made it to the church after a little while, where everyone gathered in to escape the smoke traveling from the raging inferno that used to be the village. Socks came in last, exhausted from carrying Blaza's body. Joocie and Oompa rushed over to take the heavy weight off his shoulders. Socks gladly obliged, collapsing on the ground as he fought his breath.
Around him, the others were scattered around the sanctuary of the church. Wicktoria was comforting Nadwe while Meme was checking over Woolfster, who was holding his hand over his right eye. Laff paced by the altar. Oof and Tbh were sitting with Muffin on one of the pews. Everyone had the same troubled look on their face.
Joocie dragged Socks over to sit on one of the pews as Oompa took Blaza. After a little while, Socks finally gained enough strength back to stand up and speak.
"What... where are we again?" He muttered. The poor guy had been so tired while carrying Blaza he had completely forgotten where he had taken him.
"We're in Laff's church," Joocie explained, "Just rest. We're safe here."
"But... what about..." Socks stammered, he looked to the front of the room, where Oompa had laid Blaza in a coffin Laff had retrieved from the basement (he keeps some down there for some creepy reason).
"I'm sorry, Socks," Joocie sighed, "There's nothing any of us could have done."
"No..." Socks said, tears falling down his face that was now covered in ash from running through the fire. Joocie patted his shoulder to comfort him.
Meme, who noticed his distressed friend, walked over from where he had finished checking over the now half-blind Woolfster (he had been too close to the flames when they went up so suddenly). Meme sat down next to Socks and gave him a friendly, comforting hug. Blaza and Socks had always been close, ever since they had met all those years ago.
Laff cleared his throat and stepped up to the altar at the front of the sanctuary. "I think this may be the time to... Y'know... Blaza's funeral, I guess."
Everyone silently made their way to the front few pews of the spruce wood church. Thunder could be heard outside. Guess the rain came back, like it was forecasted to. The rain hammered against the stained glass windows as Laff began.
