Mirabel’s POV

“Naunet, How’s the baby doing?!”I yelled towards her. Naunet is an Egyptian girl that’s mother was born in ancient Egypt. Her mother was a special kind of immortal goddess, she met a king and fell in love- making him immortal- they lived through everything until someone killed all of the immortals a 100 years after my mother and father died along with my pack.

Naunet was born 100 years after me which makes her 818 years old. She’s being hunted down by Vampires because of her rich royal blood as we speak and I promised that I would protect her while she was not able to protect herself.

Naunet is a special kind of Lycan. Instead of being half wolf, she’s half Jackal. Recently she had found her mate and had started a family. Naunet had a twin sister called Kamilah; she died giving birth to her 5th child.

Naunet had been tracking down her sisters half of the family to help her blend in by saying the youngest relative that lives in Australia was her sister so that her child would be treated normally. Naunet is at the moment 9 months pregnant and I extremely worried about her.

“I’m fine Mary, don’t worry, I’m pregnant not carrying a bomb” she said shaking her head “so have you heard of Lizzy and your daughter’s? Are they doing okay without you?” she added worriedly.

I shook my head at her “Sweet little Net… They’ll be fine. Besides, you’re stuck with me for 5 more years until the child is old enough to do things for herself” Naunet shook her head staring at the ground “If only Joshua was still alive… he would have been a lovely father” she said starting to cry.

I rushed over calming her down “Love… At least you have something of him… Your daughter… She would probably have his blond hair and blue eyes” I say stoking her back. She sniffs “I really hope so… then she will also have something of her father” she says wiping the tears from her face.

“It just really hurt’s because today’s Valentine’s Day!” she yells frustrated.

Ding Dong!

Naunet walks to the door and opens it revealing a mother holding a little baby that looks about 1 and a little 2 year old holding onto her knee for balance “Oh Amy!” Naunet says surprised “What are you doing here, come in!” she adds delighted.

Amy frowns when she sees me “Oh this is Mirabel- I call her Mary- She’s here to help protect me and keep me safe until my child is 5 years of age” she tells her.

Amy put on a genuine smile “Any friend of Net’s is a friend of mine… Oh where are my manners?” she says shaking her head “This is my eldest son Zack and my other son Roy. Roy got his blond hair and blue eyes from me – as you can see- And Zack got his dark brown hair and brown eyes from him deceased father- bless his soul” she looks down “They will now never know their father…” she says really depressed like.

“Net!” Amy says looking shocked “I know your pregnant but the bathroom is only upstairs, you don’t have to pee yourself!” she added scolding Naunet.

“Stupid bitch, her water just broke!” I yelled running over to Naunet. Amy looks shocked at my choice of words I threw at her as we walked out the front door “What, you are a werewolf, which is part of the dog family and bitch means female dog so… I’m not that far off” I say running Naunet to her car while Amy looks really shocked “I don’t think I like you anymore…” she said.

I didn’t have time to sit and listen to her calling me a wobbly noodle of some sort because of the fact that her children are right there so I just sped off.

When we arrived at the hospital, I helped her to the counter while saying “Please just don’t die on me because that happened once and I had to raise the child!” I tell her to lighten up the mood.

She giggled “Don’t worry I won’t. If anyone askes- your my sister” she adds as I nod.

We told the doctor that I was her sister and I was allowed to be with her while it happened. Also I could help her by taking some of her pain and transfer it to me so that I felt the unbearable pain of birth as I tried to help her.

By the end of it I was sort of immune to the feeling because of the fact that I was half angel. She pushed once more and the sound of crying filled my ears “It’s a girl” the doctor says giving her to a nurse to wash off. She smelled funny so I followed. When I saw her walking out the door I grabbed her hair as she hissed “I will take this” I said grabbing the baby from her grasp.

She looked angry as I walked away she followed until I was at the washing table. She leaped for me but I bended her blood before she could touch me, not even lifting a finger toward her I stopped her blood flow and killed her. I did all of that not even looking her way and just cleaning the baby.

The doctor rushed in and moved her to the other room to try reviving her but I knew better. Before he took her I made her blood thicker than it should be- stopping the blood flow and leaving her to die. No one will ever touch a child while I’m there or else I rip them apart.

I finished up and dried her off; rapping her in the light purple blanket I weaved for her that has the name Jesse imprinted in it. We already knew it would be a girl so she wanted to call her Jesse, so I made the blanket as a gift for her.

I gave her to a frowning Naunet “What happened to the nurse?” she asked, taking her baby and smiling as the baby opened her eyes to her mother “Oh she died” I said as if it wasn’t even important.

Naunet looked up shocked “How, what happened?!” she asked out of breath. I frowned “I killed her by thickening her blood flow so that it would stop and she would die… duh” I said as if it was the simplest thing ever.

“Why?!” she screeched making me look confused “She was stealing Jesse… She a blood sucker” I say as if it was the most obvious thing ever. How did she not smell that horrible creature?

Her face went into total shock as she grabbed Jesse closer “Don’t worry; I’ll protect you both… I won’t let anyone harm a hair on her little fragile head” I say dead serious.

*5 years later*

“Jesse, Get over here you little rabbit!” I yell after her as she runs around with only one done pony-tail and the rest of her hair on the left side loose and getting messy with her running around like a crazed rabbit.

She has really light blond soft, bouncy hair. She has beautiful blue eyes and loves to be mischievous. She looks just like her father but has the beauty of her mother. She had translucent skin so I either call her Snow White, Rabbit or Little Blood sucker. She loves all the pet names I’d give her, and so we grew quite close.

I grabbed her and pinned her down, finishing her hair “There! Now you are a real Rabbit” I say making her giggle “Can you put black bows in my hair and dress me up like Alice?!” she asks me tilting her head to the right.

“What? Why?! Your my little Rabbit not some little blond girl eating too much cake!” I say referring to Alice in Wonderland- The girl is obsessed with cakes!

“Fine, then dress me up like the rabbit. Which one am I again? The one with the clock that goes tick-tock, tick-tock” she says moving her hair side to side every time she says tick or tock “Or the one that looks like he has fleas and drinks tea with the mad hatter- I think that one needs a long bath with a lot of soap, shampoo and conditioner. He also looks weird… like one of those guys across the street that smokes that green stuff” she says.

My eyebrows lift in surprise and shock “Love they don’t smoke it… they just… eat it, cause… It’s their vegetables and it’s not very yummy, their mommy’s made them eat it because they were bad and didn’t clean their rooms” I say nodding my head.

Jesse has a look of shock and disgust on her face as she yells “Vegetables! Yuck!!!” she starts running upstairs “Where are you going?!” I yell after her. She turns around and looks at me with wide eyes “To go clean my room! I don’t want Vegetables!”

I laugh as Naunet enters the room “Nice save” she says sitting next to me on the couch “Lizzy called, they want you back” she says all sad. I frown “I’ll leave today, let me just get Jesse” I say giving her a hug as I walk upstairs.

When I enter her room I see Zack from next door wearing a small tuxedo and towel over his arm. I cocked an eyebrow, but when I noticed his brother Roy in a blue dress drinking imaginary tea with his pinkie in the air, with Jesse I stifled my laughter.

Jess… Why is Roy in a dress?” I ask as Roy’s face turns bright red… poor little 6 years old. I look over at Zack again “And why is Zack a butler?” I point at the 8 year old holding the towel.

She sits up straight “I don’t know why Roy put on a dress; he could’ve been the prince. I asked Zack to be the prince but he said that he would never wear a crown so I gave him the tux, doesn’t he look ravishing?” she said pointing at the two of them.

I walk up to Roy, crouching down and looking into his eyes “Roy sweet heat… Why did you put on the dress?” I asked but all he did was shrug “I like it” he says as I give his brother a worried look.

I walked up to Jesse “Hey baby girl, Aunt Mary is going to be gone for a while so don’t worry when I don’t come home… I’m going to go back to my family today… in London” I finish looking her straight in the eyes as her big blue eyes started turning red and tears started developing in her eyes.

I engulfed her in a hug as she cried into my shoulder “But you can’t leave me Mary… you’re my only friend besides Roy and Zack” she cries as I stoke her fragile back “Baby girl, I have to… My family needs me.

“Will I* ever see you again?” She asks as I look at her once more “I really hope so” I say as I walk downstairs with the children following “Were ready Net, Let’s go” I say holding onto Jesse and Roy- still wearing the dress “Roy my boy, take off the dress please” I say as he wiggles out of the dress and grabs my had once more.

“I put you suitcases in the car Mary. Let’s get going” she says walking us to the car. We all get in and are at the airport in 30 minutes.

I already boarded my luggage and got my ticket, all I have to do now is say goodbye to a crying Jesse, a sad looking Roy and I frowning Zack- that’s still wearing the tux- also he’s getting looks from little 7-8 year old girls.

I walk over to Naunet and give her a hug, followed by Roy and then Zack “You my boy, are going to become a wonderful young man… please take care of Jesse for me” I ask a he nods “I will was his rely as I moved to Jesse.

“Hey Rabbit… I’m gonna miss you” I say pulling her close to me “If I’m the Rabbit then you’re the Hair” she says mentioning that I am the Hair that has tea parties with the hatter.

I giggle half-heartedly “Deal” I say giving her a pinkie promise “I’ll see you again my little Jackal” I say as she frowns “Jackal?” she asks “You’ll understand when your older” add as they call for my flight “Bye Rabbit” I say running off to the plain as I hear her sob “Bye Mary”

Present day 2015

Mirabel’s POV

I wake up in my warm bed… wait… Luke said that he would wake me when we get home. The arsehole lied to me! I turn to see Luke… Not again!

He has his arms tight around my body once more and I need to pee! This feels like daja-vu… Oh wait no, I already went through this once and this time I will get out of his clutches!

I put my arms on his sides and start to tickle him. He jolts up and I jump out of bed and run to the bathroom laughing like a cute little school girl (Teeheeheehee)

I do my business and when I come out I’m facing Luke with box in hand “Put this on please. I look at the box and back up at him with my eyes narrowed “Sure… Last time you said that I ended up in black Lingerie!” I say trying to get to my closet “I’m taking a shower and putting on my normal clothes.

Luke goes into my closet “Fine but I’m picking your outfit” He says as I walk in the bathroom. I climb into the shower and start washing my hair. The door opens and I fell on my arse because of the shock.

“Oh my God Mirabel, are you okay” I hear Luke’s voice echoed through the bathroom “I’m fine! Get out!” I sounded so weak and my voice was so wobbly. The shower door opens revealing Luke as I cover up my body closing my eyes and putting my head on my knees.

“Babe, are you sure?” he asks turning off the tap. I move myself to the back corner of the shower- it’s roomy in there, it could fit 2 people and a small child.

I burry my face in my knees and say with a shaky voice “Please get out Luke” Luke gets into the shower and sit next to me “Don’t be afraid of your body… your beautiful” he tells me.

“Fine okay now can you just leave” I say again but this time he comes closer and hugs me “Luke, get off” I say, but he’s persistent “No… You’re my mate and I love you, I won’t let you think of yourself this way” he says and takes off his shirt, followed by his pants as I turn towards the wall.

“Luke, please! You’ll poke someone’s eye out with that thing!” I say as he laughs. He grabbed my waist and hoists me up so that I’m standing on my feet, face agenised the wall.

“Turn around please” he says softly agenised my neck “Luke… No” He turns on the water and start washing himself “Fine I’ll just wait” he says. Goddess he’s so stubborn. Lord, give me strength so I could punch him in the face!

I try to run out of the shower, but he grabbed me and pushed me agenised the wall playfully “Now will you listen to me?”  He asked and I looked away and nodded “Thank you” he said taking a sigh of relief but when he lowered his head to release the sigh he saw my body.

Words can’t describe how awkward this is. I stiffened and moved around feeling uncomfortable underneath his gaze.

“Luke…. could you not?” I ask hoping his gaze would find mine and when it did he pressed his lips to mine kissing me roughly.

I ripped my lips from his, running out of the shower and getting my towel. I rap myself up and sit on the toilet seat crying.

“Mirabel, I’m sorry. I don’t know how this hole mate thing works so I’m listening to my wolf and now I know that that’s a mistake and I’m sorry” he says looking pained to see me crying.

I stand up and rap my arms around his wet body “I forgive you, but please don’t ever do that again” I say as he nods. His phone starts ringing and I laugh when I realize his ringtone is (Talk Dirty by Jason Derulo)

He picks up his phone and answers the phone looking very embarrassed “Hello…” He says walking out of the bathroom… wearing… nothing… My virgin eyes!!!

I quickly put on my robe running out, rapping the towel around his exposed waist, making him smile and nod his head saying thanks.

I walk back and see the clothes Luke picked and once again, he put Lingerie ready for me but this time the Lingerie is light blue and matches his eye colour.

I walk to my closet to find it locked while Luke’s showing me the key he hung around his dog tag necklace. I groan and head back to the bathroom, putting on another pair of Lingerie… I bet he’ll bury me in them to!

I look at it and it’s a Good Charlotte crop top and black ripped up skinny jeans and put them on. I walk out of the bathroom to find Luke handing me my Plakkies/ Flip-flops. This boy is trying to dress me like him!

He smiled at me before exiting my room, and 5 minutes later the front door closed. I walked to my make-up bag and got out my black nail polish deciding that I would do my nails.

 About 10 minutes later Luke came into my room and I had just finished applying my make-up= which consists of only eyeliner and lip-gloss “So I assume you’re ready for school?” Luke says eyeing me up and down.

My eyes almost popped out of my skull as I sprinted for the door, but I was unfortunately stopped by Luke “I’ll take that as a yes” he says chuckling.

I groan “Fine, but were taking my car!” I say as I try pushing him aside, while he’s just standing there smiling “Okay, but I’m driving” he adds the last part really fast as he sprints down the stairs to my car keys “NOoooo!” I yell running after him “Not my baby!” I add.

I hear something that sound like a gun shot, but it sounds about 2 miles away so it couldn’t have been one of us. I shrug it off running after Luke, but I have this bad feeling in my stomach.

When he entered the garage he saw all our cars his mouth falls open “Alright, but take Dru, she’s my school car” I admit in defeat “Which one is Dru?” he asks frustrated and shocked.

“The one I always take to school, dummy” I say pointing at Dru in the right hand corner. His eyes scan the cars and bikes as we pass them, drooling a little when he saw Angel “Why can’t we take that one?” He pouts.

I shake my head “Angel is only for when I need to highly impress and show bitches up” I say as I push him to Dru “Besides… This is my baby” I say stroking Dru. Luke rolls his eyes “You’re such a guy” he says as we get in the car “I thought I’m driving?!” he said looking frustrated and amused at me “Well this is my baby and only I can drive her so… GIVE ME THE KEYS” I say the last part in my Alpha voice as he caves and tosses the keys to me.

We make our way to school until I spot something lying in the road that we take to school but its 1 mile away from the school and 2 miles away from our home. Luke’s pack house is actually quite close from here, I know because I can smell the wolves from here.

As we come closer I spot the Gun powder grey wolf and immediately click “Lizzy!” I yell running out of the car “Oh my Goddess!” I yell as I reach her. There’s a shot-gun bullet in her shoulder. When she was flying she must have been hit, people often mistake us for birds.

A man came from the woods and onto the street holding a shot-gun “Get away from my wolf you assholes, I shot it, you know the rules, it’s mine now!” he says evilly and horridly.

“You can’t have my wolf you stupid motherfucker!” I spit out angrily. The man laughs “She was on unclaimed lands… She’s mine know” He said grinning evilly. He stepped closer to take Lizzy put I move forward, grabbing my knife from my boot “Your on unclaimed land too you know… Does that mean if I stab you, you belong to me?” I say pointing the knife in front of his face.

He smirks once more “Lovey… It only works if it’s an animal” he says laughing “Well I could still stab you and get away with it… Remember we’re both armed… and I know for a fact only one of us will survive” I say smirking.

The man laughs once more, amused at my bravery “Little girl, you’re holding a baby knife, not a Shot-gun” he says eyeing me.

This time I look down making him believe I gave up as he moved to get Lizzy once more. This time I laugh though and not a normal laugh, but more of a possessed Alpha laugh “If you touch her… I will rip you limb… from limb” I say calmly.

“Little girl I don’t have time for your bullshit, all I want to do is kill this mutt and mount her on my wall” He says. With that I broke. I looked up almost immediately with my wolf’s Blue eyes turning pitch black.

I jump into the air shifting into my white wolf and changed her colour to a pitch black with red tips. As I expose my white wings and change the colour to blood red I move closer to the man, growing more and more to add effect. Finally I burst into flames and lung at the man engulfing him in one bite.

 I felt the shot-gun shoot from inside me as I spit him out while puking blood. It healed just as fast as it happened because of the fact that I was in wolf form. I bit down on the shot-gun before he could grab it once more.

As he quivered in fear, I lunged at him, a tad smaller as I ripped him apart. After I was done, I shifted back and walked over to Lizzy with my head down in shame. This is exactly what I feared. Luke saw me in psycho mode as I call it, and now… He’ll never think of me the same way ever again. But what happened next was totally unexpected. He hugged me “Your just like me” he said. Now that scared me!

He released me and picked up Lizzy that was still in her wolf form. We got her into the back seat as I rushed towards his pack house “Where are you going?!” he asked panicked “To your pack house, where else?!”  I say silencing him for a while before he spoke once more ”Fine…” he said defeated. What the fuck is he hiding from me?

As we arrived Luke and I rushed Lizzy to Jaimy so that she could save her. When we found Jaimy she was busy arguing with Catharine and Cathy about their boob sizes- What the actual fuck right?!

When they saw us Jaimy rushed over, Catharine hid behind Cathy with eyes you could relate to plates and Cathy just hitting her forehead repeatedly with her palm saying lightly “Stupid, stupid, stupid…” to herself, probably referring to Catharine’s sceardy-cat- ness.

Jaimy closes the doors after her and Lizzy, leaving Luke and I outside. Suddenly we hear a pissy scream and look at Catherine who’s running away while Cathy laughs “That was the most girly ass scream I have ever heard in my life!” she adds, holding her stomach while laughing.

I smell something familiar as my real scent comes back to me. Cathy freezes “Fuck… Your powerful” she adds walking away all scared like. I follow the scent not minding that mines exposed, I know this scent. I enter the kitchen just at the same time the scent turns looking shocked and happy at the same time “Naunet…?”  I ask.

Net runs over to me engulfing m in a hug “Oh my god, Mary?!” she says looking shocked as ever. Luke on the other hand looks confused. Naunet noticed Luke’s expression and added “Mary you remember that my sister had family and we needed to blend in? Well we found them and their new last name is Hemmings, so now Jesse and I are part of the Hemmings’ family!” she says so exited so I decided to match her excitement jumping up and down with her “Yeah that’s great. Luke’s my mate!”  I say just as excited as she was- faking obviously.

Her face went from happy to confused, to shack and then right back to happy as I left the room- not wanting another squeal fest. I walk into what looks like the living room when a really blond girl looked back shocked clear in her facial expression as well as two other boys… one looks gay because of the pink sweater over his shoulders, but clearly his still in the closet.

The blond girl’s facial expression went from shock to utter happiness, as did the boys… I feel something big heading my way right now “Mary!!!” the blond shrieks and jumps sprouting bat wings from her back in mid-air, tackling me to the ground- suspicions confirmed- something big came my way… and it’s a person!

The girl changes into a Jackal and it clicks “Oh my god Jesse! You’re a girly girl?! I swear I helped raise you better!” I say as Luke walked in looking even more confused but also shocked at the sight of her wings.

Well… that’s not right… my bad” I say mentioning to her wings while looking away obviously guilty. She looks guilty too “No it was my fault… I thought it was a drink” she said mentioning to the time she drank my diablo winged potion. It’s was actually something to give Vampires/ hybrids bat wings- but she drank it so… it’s gone now!

I look at Luke’s confused face “Lord Jesus I’m tired of this!” I say standing up and touching his forehead- pumping knowledge into his brain with my angel powers. Seconds later he falls to the floor passed out “Oops! Anyway, while my mate takes a nap let’s get everything cleared out” I say as Jesse puts her hand on my mouth with wide eyes “MATE?!” she yells.

She laughs guiltily “Well since were getting this hole mate thing out of the way…bzeack ish mye meate” she says mumbling the last part making me cock an eyebrow “Okay! Fine! Zack is my mate! Happy?!” she says dramatically as I put a hand in the air to silence her as I turn to Zack, mouthing to him ‘Good Luck’ and add a thumbs up as she glares at me.

“Oh I almost forgot!” she said moving to a red head girl “This is Nicole” she says pinching her cheek “She’s my bestie” she ran weirdly to another boy with blond hair “And this lovely bottle of yummy is Mark, Nicole’s mate!” she adds squeaking at the end “Sorry… When I’m excited I act all girly, but in reality I’m Satan’s spawn from hell!” she says all girly which makes me laugh.

She moved to the two boys on the couch “And of course you remember Roy and Zack” she says in a duh voice so I add my comment in a sarcastic one dipping my head to the left a little “No hey… They’re the Jonas brothers”

She laughs weirdly “There are 3 Jonas brother’s not only 2” she says in a duh tone once more. I shift my eyes to Mark “One” then to Roy “two” and then to Zack “Three!” I say as if she was a child and I had to teach her math. She just continues to glare at me.

We sat there all day just talking about what happened while I was gone. Luke had woken up about an hour later with more information about me in his head. He also joined the conversation.

I was getting late and I yawned “Tired?” Luke asked “The girls are already here; Lucy’s with Ashton and Lilly is with Michael. Calum’s taking care of Lizzy and said he’d call us when she woke up” I nod and moved my head backwards agenised the couch “Come one, I’ll take you to our room” I frown but I’m too tired to think right now.

He lifts me bridal style and carries me upstairs? We enter a dark room as Luke puts me on the bed, draping the cold covers over me. I hear materials moving and then feel warm hands on my body.

 I don’t remember much after, because I fell into a deep, peaceful slumber…
