Mirabel’s POV

“Bella” I hear granny yell. Granny took us in after she found us wondering the woods all by ourselves. She took care of us in her cottage and some nice ladies took us in as their daughters.

You must be confused well let me explain. After we found out of the village, we made ourselves look 7 again with our angel powers and granny found us.

We told her that we were cousins and that our parents and village was burned down. Beth pretended to be mute and Lillian pretended that she had a mental disease and acted dumbfounded and friendly. She would talk to the animals and pretend that they spoke back. She would giggle softly and run around like a crazy, shy and quiet little girl.

Granny’s daughter Valery had adopted me and now she’s my mother. There’s something strange about this village though. Every night they would lock the doors, close the gates and put people on patrol. They also tied a goat up on a pedestal and left it there for the night. The next morning the goat would be gone and blood would be in its place.

Granny Hood is a very nice lady and hates keeping secrets from me because she treats me just like her own granddaughter. She told me that there was a wolf that terrorised the village and being the friend that I am I told Lillian and Beth that were both adopted by the same lady, Granny’s daughter Jasmine.

Granny has two children, Jasmine and Valery’s husband Peter. Jasmine is married to her husband Stephan who is a huntsman and Peter- my supposed father- works at the weaponry.

Granny makes the sweetest clothes for the family, and because Valery can’t have children of her own, granny treats me like a delicate flower. She made me the sweetest gift for my birthday that they made the 29 November because that was the day they found me. My real birthday is the 31 October 1096 on all hollows eve.

Granny made me a red hood and told me to wear it, because if I did, the wolf wouldn’t harm me. Being the curious person I am, I tested it. At the full moon I went out of the house and walked around, following the howl and when I found the source I was shocked.

There wasn’t only 1 wolf there were three. One had pitch black fur and one green eye and one brown one, the smallest one that must be a female had grey fur and the other large creature had dark brown fur.

Just on queue they all shifted to their human forms and I was shocked to see Jasmine, Stephan and my supposed father- Peter.

I saw them turn and I ran unfortunately they heard me and I can’t do much as a child. I ran at my fastest speed but Peter tripped me and I fell down shifting into a tiny baby white wolf.

I heard to gasps and one “awww” then all heads stepped to Jasmine “What?! She is the cutest wolf cub I have ever laid eyes on” she defended herself. I heard a scoff and then a slap. Jasmine hit Stephan over the head because he was not being polite.

Then one word popped up (Feminine) and I had a plan. I shifted back and started crying. Jasmine’s mothering instincts kicked in and held me in her arms growling at the men “You’re scaring her! Go to the village now!”

The men flinched at her tone. But did as they were told- She must be the Alpha.

She picked me up and carried me back, putting me in my bed “Don’t worry Little Red, they won’t harm you. As long as you wear that red Hood you will always be our Little Red Riding Hood” she said kissing my head making my blue wolf eyes glow bright.

I woke up to the smell of porridge. To them I am now 16 years of age, but only Beth, Lillian and I know my real age.

I climbed down from my bedroom and went to my mother Valery. She was making porridge for us, she was startled when she turned and saw me, dropping the pot. I move quickly and grab the handle with my foot, bringing it to my hand and giving it to her “Thank you sweet heart” she said and gave me a kiss on my cheek “Happy birthday” she added going back to what she was doing.

I walked out the house and grabbed a basket and went to the bakery where Beth spends most her time with her Mother Jasmine.

When I got there I saw Beth picking flowers and humming. I walked up to her giving her a hug as she giggled softly waving at me when I entered the bakery “Bella! Hello dear, you want some bread for Granny?” Jasmine asked as I nod “Yes please, she’s ill and there is this pitch black wolf with Golden eyes roaming outside the village at nights, I just want to make sure that she’s fine” I answered.

“Really, Are you sure it’s not just Stephan?” She asks and I shake my head “This one had golden eyes, Stephan’s wolf has one Green eye and one brown one” I answer and she nods “True but if there really is another wolf, you should be careful, Here is a bottle of wine and a piece of cake for granny, Set out before it gets hot, and when you are going, walk nicely and quietly and do not run off the path, or you may fall and break the bottle, and then granny will get nothing, and when you go into her room, don't forget to say, "Good morning"” Jasmine tells me with a serious tone.

Granny lived out in the wood, half a league from the village. While I was walking I heard ruffling in the woods. I walked faster until I spot it “Wolf” I said quietly. The wolf came closer as I made an emotionless facial expression “Maybe he’s friendly, like Peter, Jasmine and Stephan” My wolf told me.

“Good day, Red Riding Hood” The wolf greeted

“Thank you kindly, wolf” I answered still walking the path to granny’s house.

“Whither away so early, Red Riding Hood?” he asked, his voice sent shivers down my spine as I continued walking.

“To my Granny’s” I answered, trying to keep the talking to a minimum.

“What have you got in the basket?” The wolf asked giving me a wolfy grin.

“That is none of your concern” I answered ducking a branch and making it slap the wolf in the face as he tried to pass. He growled but continued to follow me.

“Where does your Granny live, Red Riding Hood?” he asked as I scoff and walk faster.

“You need not know” I answer as he growled.

“'See, Red Riding Hood, how pretty the flowers are about here - why do you not look round? I believe, too, that you do not hear how sweetly the little birds are singing; you walk gravely along as if you were going to school, while everything else out here in the wood is merry.” The wolf says.

I think it through “Bell, he’s right maybe you should pick some flowers for granny” my wolf says ‘Do I look like a 12 year old?’ I as her “No but you do remember how much granny loves flowers” she adds. I sigh in defeat.

“'Suppose I take Granny a fresh nosegay; that would please her too. It is so early in the day that I shall still get there in good time” I say and wonder off the path. Maybe if I am nice to the wolf he would not harm me or anyone I love dearly.

Suddenly I feel something hard make contact with my scull and darkness overcomes me…

Thomas/Wolf’s POV

After I knocked out Little Red I ran and found the cottage and knocked on the door in my human form.

“Who is there?” an old woman’s voice asked. I cleared my throat and copied Red’s voice- a talent I learned over time.

“Granny, It’s me Red” I replied “I brought Cake and wine I say. I knew red had cake and wine in the basket because of the smell.

“Come in darling the door in unlocked” answered the grandmother as I made my way through the door.

When the Granny saw me she gasped “It can’t be! Peter killed you and your father!” She backed up to the headboard of the bed “Hello to you to grandmother” I say, changing into my wolf and leaped at her ripping her apart.

After I ate her I put on her clothes and got in the bed waiting for little red to check up on her granny.

Red Riding Hood/Mirabel’s POV

When I had awoken I found myself lying in in the woods surrounded by flowers “That dammed Wolf!” I yell standing up and running to granny’s house, basket in hand.

When I got there the door was open and I could smell blood. I got mad but played it off promising my wolf that she could have her fun.

I walked inside “Good Morning Granny” I say walking further into the house ’How uneasy I feel’ I think to myself.

I went to the bed and drew back the curtains. There lay my so called granny with her cap pulled far over her face.

I played along pretending to fall for his trick “Oh! Granny,” I say, “what big ears you have!” I add looking shocked.

“All the better to hear you with, my child” she Replied making me fake frown.

“But, Granny, what big eyes you have!” I say with fake concern. I smell the blood all over the room. It’s granny’s blood. I keep the tears from falling and look at her as she replies.

“All the better to see you with, my dear” She answers moving a little closer to me. I fake frown again moving a little bit further away.

“But, Granny, what large hands you have!” I say with fake concern. I feel my canines grown in my mouth. I have to speak carefully now.

“All the better to hug you with” she answers. I can hear he’s getting annoyed by my questions. He moved the blanket from his mouth slightly.

“Oh! But, Granny, what a terrible big mouth you have!” I add with the best fake concern ever. He chuckles in a low voice.

“All the better to eat you with!” He says and sprung at me but surprised when I grabbed him by the throat and pinned him back down baring my teeth at him and making my eyes glow a bright blue colour- my wolf’s eyes- He looked at me shocked

“Are you hungry Granny? Should I get you anything? No? Alright then” I say plunging my claws into his stomach, ripping it open. Body parts littered the floor that came from his stomach “You shouldn’t eat old people… They give you great stomach aches” I say walking out grabbing a bunch of stones and returning to the wolf gasping for air.

“Here Granny, I hear it does wonders to dissolve the bones of old people in your stomach” I said and in a flash Beth and Lillian were next to me holding him down.

I threw the stones in his stomach and sowed him up as he took his last breath I said “See you in hell Wolfy”

After that Stephan had found us outside the cottage full of blood and we told him what had happened.

When I had turned 18, the girls and I moved into granny’s house and we lived there with Jasmine and Stephan watching over us- We had made them Hybrids with the help of a witch and she taught me the spell so now so do I know how to make hybrids.

I am Red Riding Hood.

Present day 2015

Mirabel’s POV

I am awakened by a beeping sound. I try to move my arm to put off my alarm, but it doesn’t move, I start feeling wires and what not surrounding my body. I feel a hospital mask on my face. But what got my attention was the hand that was holding mine sending sparks threw my whole body.

I slowly open my eyes to see a sleeping Luke laying his head on my legs with his hand holding mine. I smile slightly and find the feeling in my arm back, grabbing onto the mask lightly and taking it off.

I sit and admire Luke’s flawless appearance when I notice how beat down he actually looked. His hair was messy and under his eyes were bags which means he hardly slept. His cheeks were tearstained as well which means he was crying. I can’t even imagine him crying.

 I left him to sleep as I watched him bored out of my mind and tired as well. I’m not tired as in ‘I want to sleep’ I’m tired as in ‘I’m bored’ this is the kind of tired you go through if you’re in class listening to a teacher speaking and you are bored out of your mind, but when she’s done and you start doodling in your book your wide awake.

I look around the room ‘This isn’t my room’ I think to myself as I notice the wires, clock, machinery and whiteness, not to mention brightness.

I see a nurse walk in and bring my finger to my mouth to tell her to be quiet. She notices Luke and her eyes go into panic mode as she makes a scene to stay very quiet.

I looked at her and give her a ‘Are you stupid?’ look and see her name imprinted on her nurse outfit (Catherine)

I cock an eyebrow at her as she flinches when Luke moved. She runs out the room as I muffle a laugh.

She comes back with another woman that wore a Doctor’s outfit. He Jacket said her name was (Jaimy)

She looked really irritated with Catherine at the moment as she saw Luke “Woman you are stupider than a piece of bacon” She whisper yelled at Catherine with a funny accent.

Jaimy points at Luke “This child can sleep through an earthquake and storm sooo shut the fuck up” She whispered calmly at her as she made her way to me.

 “Hello Mirra- Mirara-belle” she said funny I giggle a little “Mirabel” I whisper back at her “What? Oh okay. Hello Mierabel, How are you feeling today?” She asked eyeing my name with a frown. She still pronounced it weirdly when she said it.

I stifled my laughter “Good… Where am I?” I ask looking around. She cocked an eyebrow “You are at Lucas’s home… well pack home and this here is the medical wing and I am Doctor Jaimy Parsad and this is my stupid nurse and best friend who is deadly scared of Lucas over here” She said pointing at Luke “Catherine Crouse” She finished.

Catherine came up from behind her making Jaimy make an amused face as she raised her eyebrows and lowered her board “I am not afraid of a Blond boy/child” She said lifting her head up high as I cocked an eyebrow.

Luke snored loudly that made her jump back and fall on her arse as she scurried out of the wing making Jaimy laugh so hard she clutched her stomach and when she was done he wiped an imaginary tear from her eyes and continued with a straight face “Yeah he stole her lollypop from her when they were 5 and she was afraid of him ever since… Have you ever heard of something so stupid in your life?!” she added really loudly. Still not waking Luke

“I told you… this child is unwakable” she says shaking her head. Jaimy had done some tests on me as a red head girl walked in with balloons “Oh my goodness! Hello my name is Cathy and I am so happy to welcome you Luna! Haha… Oh he’s asleep good! I hate being all stupid and girly just because I run the welcome committee”

She walked up to me “Hi my name is Catherine but you could call my Cathy because there already is a Catherine and she’s a pussy- I’m just kidding- No she really is” she finished and shook my hand. She said goodbye and walked out after giving me a bunch of helium balloons s I looked at it like a little creepy kid.

“Tehehe” I say as I grab the balloon and suck out all the helium. I touched Luke’s face as he jolted up “Really… You sleep through Catherine’s silliness, Jaimy’s loudness and Cathy’s Loudness but me touching your face wakes you up. What the actual fuck?” I say in a helium voice all serious which made me burst out laughing at myself as Luke gave me a ‘WTF is wrong with you’ amused facial expression.

He engulfed me in a hug “Oh my goddess babe, you were in a coma for 2 weeks” He said. Good lord I gave him a ‘are you fucking serious’ look “Good gjod, last time I was in a coma it was for almost 2 months and you brought me to your fucking pack house just because I was in a coma for 2 weeks… What the actual fuck is wrong with you? You’re supposed to help Calum look for Lizzy not…” I didn’t finish because I saw the tears in his eyes again.

This time it was my turn to engulf him in a hug with my one helium balloon in hand. I sucked half of the balloon up while I was hugging him “I wuv you Luke” I say in a helium voice making him laugh.

He took the balloon from be after our embrace and sucked in the rest “I love you Mirabel” he said in a manly helium voice making me burst out in laughter

We just sat there for hours sucking the helium out of a bunch of balloons. It doesn’t affect us the way it would humans because our bodies heal themselves.

Soon Jaimy entered again an frowned at us, then cocked her eyebrow “What the fudafuckingfuck are you two doing?” she asked looking at us weirdly as both of us took a suck of our balloons (Seriously I need a switch to turn off my dirty mind) we looked at her all serious as she had an amused face “Nothing, just sucking” we both say and start laughing.

Jaimy starts to laugh silently still wearing the same face she had before we said that and when we stopped laughing, she started laughing “What the fuck you to sound like constipated chipmunks!” she said still laughing.

She stood up all wobbly and had a serious face “You can leave whenever you like, your body is healthy” she said as I jump up from the bed and yanked the needles from my arms that I didn’t realise was there, getting Goosebumps while I lift my hands in the air “I Hate Needles!” I say as I grab Luke’s arm and pulls him out of the wing and into an unfamiliar pack house… Jesus there is a lot of people here.

Luke must have known my expression as he smirked “Go back to what you were doing just showing the new Luna around!” he said walking my out the front door *Mental scoff* Luna pft No!

“Luna *mental scoff* Yes! Bitch I don’t care if we are omega’s as long as we are with our mate!” My wolf says all grown up and lovey dovey ‘Dear lord what happened to you dog?’ I asked. She knows when I say dog I mean it in a playful matter. I know she’s a wolf and she knows I know.

Luke looks back down at me all serious like “The reason you’re here is because when Lizzy hit you with her wing it knocked all the air out of your lungs and you died for a while, I took you here and told Jaimy to save you. You are the future Luna of the Moonstone Pack and my mate. I can’t lose you Bell” he said with hurt clear in his voice.

“Luke, you know nothing of what I’m capable of. In my past-” he cut me of “What happened in the past stays in the past. Let’s make our future together. Our future would have nothing to do with the bad memories of you past, but can grow from all the good ones” he said as he wiped a tear from my eye.

I smiled up at him “Alright… I’ll try… But you have to keep an open mind!” as I said that he grinned like the Cheshire cat and scooped me up bridal style, swinging me around in circles as the air fill with my giggles and telling him to stop.

He set me down and leaned closer and before I knew it his lips were on mine moving perfectly together as if his lips form perfectly onto mine. It made me melt how the fireworks exploded within me and how the butterflies amaze me by fluttering wildly around in my stomach.

We pull apart to catch our breath as I blush wildly. Good Lord. What is this boy doing to me? He moves closer once more placing a kiss upon my lips briefly letting it linger.

He took my hand in his and led me to the car. I was already getting dark and I was becoming tired “Go to sleep babe, I’ll wake you up when we get there” he said.

I trusted him as my eyes drooped and I fell into a peaceful sleep…
