I stood with Carl and Beth in the courtyard, Carol was talking with Axel. Carol started to laugh.

Bang!

Axel fell to the ground. Gunshots came from everywhere.

"Over here!" Beth yelled dragging us over to a row of benches.

"Go I'll cover you!" I yelled pointing to the wall that looked somewhat safe.

"No way! I'm the man I'll cover you!" Carl shouted. 

"Dammit Carl just go!"

Beth nodded and grabbed Carl and they ran.

I shot at the guy in the tower who was shooting at us. A bullet went straight though my right arm.

"Son of a Bitch!" I yelled then shot two of The Governor's men then got to the wall.

"Y/N are you ok?" Carl asked.

I laughed. "Yeah, I'm fine."

Beth took my gun, turned and shot the guy in the tower.

"You went super sniper on that bitch!" I yelled.

"We need to get you help." Carl grabbed my hand..

"I'm fine, we can take care of that later." I wrapped a cloth from my bag around the wound.

A truck drove right through the front gates and released at least a dozen walkers.

Oh no, god dammit.

Maggie ran out with guns. "I'll cover you Carol." She started to shoot.

Carol ran to the wall followed by Maggie.

After a few minutes of gunfire The Governor retreated.

"All right! We did it!" I said.

Carl high fived me.

I started to feel dizzy. "Carl I don't..." I fell into his arms.

"Oh god, Y/N Y/N." Carl shook me.

Time skip

I woke up in my sell on the top floor. I smiled and looked down at my arm, it was stitched up. I moved my arm around, it didn't hurt that bad. I walked out of my cell and went down the stairs. I heard Rick talking.

"I'm going on a run tomorrow. Me, Michonne, and Carl. He's ready." Rick said proudly. 

"I'll be going too." I spoke.

He looked up at me. "You just got shot."

"And I'm going with."

"You are one tough and stubborn son of a bitch." Daryl scoffed. 

"Fine you can go too." Rick agreed.
