With Charlie now in the known about vampires, it felt easy telling the truth of who I am. He had made the connection to my last name, the morning star. Light bringing. Even before I had uncovered my identity, showing my wings. I explained to him everything not leaving out details. Excluding the pack, I know it wasn't my place to reveal.

He deserved the truth, and I knew it would come with substantial uncertainty of the Volturi knowing. but I wouldn't accede to it, none involved are in danger if those royal sons of bitches know what is good for them.

" you told Charlie, about us and the existence of vampires? Malachi. Do you realise how this could be utilised, to the Volturi's benefit, in our families execution?" Edward had not let this go even before returning. Alice had a vision, of my expulsion.

Now he was fuming, I could see behind his eyes the exasperation he feels. Bella and Felix joined, on the terrace.

" Correction, cullen, it was Tanya. Charlie is her mate. of course she was certain of the outcome, and reactive response. which would happen. She knew telling him was dangerous. All I did is give the confirmation." I rectify, the tremor being made by each of my fingers pulse in my hand on the surface to the balcony boards.

" Even then, now, Kai. charlie is going to be a target if, and that is a big if, the Volturi, Aro, comes to know of what was told."

I won't be guilt tripped. Selfish or not, knowing Bella had her father to be in her life brought great consolation.

" Edward. do you really think I would have it where either Bella, our daughter, Ness, you and Charlie are in danger? If I didn't know I could keep each of you safe. Aro, Caius and Marcus would be bigger fools to even think they have an opportunity brought to them, which involves coming for any of you. If I am being direct and sincere, here, I am insulted you think so low." Bella had remain quiet through the arguing, Felix including.

" thank you, Malachi." She finally spoke up.

" I know it must have came quite a shock to Char- dad." That word would be appropriate, if it wasn't such an minimisation to his actual response. He had verbalised disbelief of having housed an Angel, the devil's son. but, definitely most surprising of all, had equal positivity. In his words 'it didn't change the fact I am still the son he never had and I was loved by him' to put in quotations.

" I rather it would've been me, to give the information of your new found.. perpetual life than yourself. Because of this exact reason. I wouldn't put you in a position where it's not necessary or difficult." She nods, taking a step towards where I am leaning on the veranda barrier, enveloping my body in an embrace. Her new born strength assuredly made itself  known. I encase my arms around her.

Edward exonerates a long sigh. " You have a valid rationale, i see now, Kai." It only had taken and witnessing Bella's grateful face for him to agree. 'He can count his blessings I didn't get full on disrespectful. What is love, and marrige, if there is no disagreeing.'

" Charlie is on his way over. He'll be here in ten minutes. I gave him, and you, time to be ready." I disclose. Felix had went inside, renesmee had begun waking from her sleep. bee widens her eyes, at the time frame.

" What?! Ten minutes. That is so close. I have to prepare." using her new vampiric speed she leaves to head back in the house. Edward gnaws on the skin to his lips. " I wasn't clear on how I felt, Kai. My reaction is based on worry, because of the Volturi's brutality. They can be incessant and lethal. I have these concerns, for our family, our daughter." I could see where the solicitude came in.

But then there is the discourse of how we were continue to live, knowing Charlie would live out the remaining years of his mortal existence in sorrow.

" and I don't? I share those sentiments, as well. Not just you. I love you, truely, but you jump to these conclusions very fast." I retaliate, bite back, pushing my hands off and go back inside. 'I need a pause in all of this supernatural madness. I can't go one day, without having one problem evolve after one another.'

Caitlyn is being held by Rosalie, Jacob surveilling her which I knew pissed off Rose. I personally had my scepticism of Jake imprinting on Cate, first. it was definitely not of my approval. " I just fed her a bottle. The milk and blood, and I changed her diaper." she states, handling her with cautionary precision.

" Thanks, rose." I indistinctly say, quiet, excavating my daughter out of her arms.

Charlie's visit had gone exceptionally fast, well. He was here for an hour before needing to leave. Ness was introduced to her grandfather. I had given bee and him the privacy, it was much needed and easy for him to not be inundated by two supernatural beings. 'I didn't want to be the cause of him going in to cardiac arrest.' The cruiser goes out of eye sight and I speak up from my place on the threshold.

" You did good, Bee. I am proud." She grins, ostentatious and satisfied, at my compliment, praise. " well done, Bella. I have never seen a new born show that kind of restraint." Jasper asserts, adding on to what I was thinking and observing, smirking. " I'm not sure is a newborn. She's so tame." Emmett taunts, arms folded over another. " Emmett. I would advise against antagonising Isabella, she has a duplicate amount of strength than those in this house." Felix informs him, though there is an insinuating of teasing in how he worded it. Emmett takes it as a challenge, fracturing and cracking each of his knuckles. " Please."

A arm wrestling match was held. To see who indeed is the strongest of the two vampires. Carrying over a gigantic rock, Emmett puts it on the spot Bella waits at. He was showing off, wearing a white tank shirt that secured his muscles. " don't hurt yourself now, Emmett." Edward says, a laugh in his tone.

" you will only wound that ego of yours, Em. Not too late to forfeit." I chuckle, at Edward's side. Cate and Renesmee remain inside, Jake, Paul and Leah caring for them. Paul had came back, informing of his reconcile with Jared and the pack. Bree had Velcro herself to my body, in a hug.

" on the count of three. One, two, three!" Jasper counts down before the match begins. Emmett concentrates, gloating with an arrogant smile but grunts after noticing Bella resisting his hand.

" You can do it, Bee. I have faith!" I cheer, giving a round of laughter and clapping witnessing her be victorious in beating him. The boulder crumbles, from impact. The Cullens, bree, Felix and I continue to applause Bella. " did you see that?" bee exclaims, looking to Felix for confirmation she won.

" You won, fair and right. Amore mio." He muses. You could see how much he loves her, the eyes are the key and entrance to the soul.

Everything had started to finally piece and connect together. For the first time in over the time and year, nearly two, of being here there was a clarity. The Volturi had sent Bella a gift congratulating her new status, ultimately though there would come the day Aro would want proof provided. But there is a new enemy that had entered our lives, Time. Renesmee is growing too fast. Caitlyn, even with her mortality growth, now is the age of a six month old. Carlisle documented each day as it went, evidently this was all of a worry.

But made each day, moment, more and more precious. Ness is beautiful, a picturesque sight and image of Bella when she was nine years old. It was as though I had time travelled to the past. Over the months Renesmee had come in to her features, so much similarities she does share with Belle it's mesmerising. Bella and I had taken her, bree and Cate out in the snow. It was first of the season change.

" Look, Uncle Kai. Mommy, a snowflake." Ness reveals her palm, flecks of snow fell.

" it's beautiful. Why don't you go and find another?" Bee smiles, kneeling to her height.

" Uncle Kai, can Caty and Bree catch snow with me? I can help her!" She pleads, widening her eyes. " Please."

" Caitlyn isn't old enough to play in the snow, baby. But bree can if you ask her, nicely. Use your manners, what Mommy and papa taught you." Bella concludes; says, not leaving space for negotiating. Cate, worn in head to toe by snow appropriate attire, stares around at the flecks of snow.

" Dada. Da da." Her first word was dada. I had coaxed, well— convinced, her to say the word. Edward was not at all pleased, feigning hurt. Caitlyn's little finger points to above the clouds. " That is where it comes from, yes. Good girl." She squeals, bubbling in a giggle at my tickling. Leah and Jacob, phased in their wolf Bodies, observe as Bree roll snow to begin forming a snowman.

" Felix, and Edward, believe there are people in Brazil who may have answers. Indigenous tribes living there might have the knowledge to help." I inform Leah and Jake. Renesmee springs off the snow filtered ground, in the air, and caught one more of the crystallising water. Then she turns, facing up and on a mountain.

There, standing in the haze, is Irina. I stared her down, she returns it but with revulsion and hatred. Bella gets in defence, knowing who she is too.

" Who was that?" Ness inquiries holding Leah's front leg, She does a steady grumble; growl. Trying to communicate the same question. " I think that's our cousin from Denali." Bee answers for the both us. Bree, coming back from destroying the snowman, follows our gaze. " Irina? What is she doing here? Dad. The last time was when her and the Denali's were at your and papa Edward wedding." That is what I am hoping to figure out.

But how she stared, in utter execration and loathe, furious at Renesmee made me believe this was gonna end critically. " Irina!" Bella calls out, before our cousin decided she didn't wish to stick around. leaving. " I am going to see what she wants. Take the kids home. Now."  She orders not allowing time to pass, running towards the direction Irina left. Bree was, validly, worried having taken Caitlyn out of my arms to hold her.

" Uncle Malachi. Why did Irina look so angry and scary?" States ness, morphing her lips in a frowning pout. In my mind, I couldn't contain concern that dwells inside. 'There is trouble coming. I can feel it.'

" Let's just get home. Okay. Your mommy is finding out what she wants."

— If only Irina stuck around and listen to her cousins about Ness, she wouldn't have been killed by the Volturi. In my opinion, it would have saved a heap of heartbreak and unnecessary deaths. All because she misunderstood and made the claim of Ness being an immortal child. I always found it infuriating how she's never listen and went to the Volturi.
