i feel the stress, anxiousness and pressure

those numbers are probably too high for me to measure

how do you expect me to show you the direction

when it's too dark and i can't see the connection? 

you told me you admired me immensely, 

but what was i supposed to reply to thee? 

there's a lot my words can't express

like my enthusiasm and joy for your success

for you i can only say i'm happy

because to support and help, i'd do anything, gladly. 

you had gotten my number and asked for advice

i said "don't stress, the principal's nice" 

over text you sent me a smiley face,

i stifled a laugh in another place.

so, i don't know what i should tell you

because everything will eventually go through

no matter in the beginning, middle or end, 

i'll always be by your side as a supportive friend. 

– a/n: about a month ago, my junior, kelly, told me she had gotten into my secondary school! (our elementary doesn't have a secondary connected to it, so we have to interview elsewhere, and my secondary school is known for being one of the top schools which is quite hard to get into). i wrote this on 23/02 in honor of her acceptance (but being me forgot to share it). just wanted to let her know i'm proud of her and will do anything to help her :)

– by the way, i have a new book idea! let me know if you're interested and if i should share it because i've already written three chapters
