Zoe POV

I had pretty much turned our room upside down and there was still no sign of what I was looking for. Damian hadn't been able to make the last scan but was desperate to know what we were having, the gender had been written on the back of the scan picture and given to me in a sealed envelope which I had then locked away in a drawer.

Damian was due home today and when I had gone to get the envelope it wasn't there, I had emptied every drawer, cupboard and box in our bedroom and it was nowhere to be found. The last thing I wanted was to tell me extremely excited fiancé that I had lost the scan picture.

"What on earth is going on in here" my mom gasps as she enters the room.

"I've lost it" I sigh "somehow I've managed to lose it"

"Lose what?" She asks "what are you looking for?"

"The scan picture" I say "it's gone, Damian will be here soon and I really don't want to have to tell him we can't find out"

"You haven't lost it I took it" she says and I find myself looking at her like she has two heads

"What? Why would you do that?" I ask "and why didn't you tell me?"

"I did it becuase I wanted to do something for both of you" she says "and I didn't tell you becuase I wanted it to be a suprise"

"Please tell me you don't know what we are having?" I ask "We both promised not to look"

"I know nothing" she says "I merely handed the envelope to the person that made the surprise"

"That's why you insisted on going out on your own the other day" I chuckle "I knew you were up to something"

Before my mom can answer the doorbell rings, she grins at me before dashing off to answer the door leaving me in the middle of the mess I've made. I carefully get myself off the floor and follow her downstairs, I find her in the kitchen just as she places a large box on the counter top.

"What's in the box?" I ask as I walk over to her

"It's a surprise I told you" she says "wait until Damian gets here"

Damian POV

Sitting in the back of the cab on the way home from the airport I could wait to walk through our front door and take Zoe in my arms. I had missed her like crazy, being away from her had been so much harder than I thought it would be and seeping alone was damn near impossible.

I was also excited to finally find out what we were having, I had been gutted that I had to miss the scan, and miss seeing our little rockstar. It made me even more determined to be there when they are born.

The cab pulls up outside the house, I pay the driver and literally jump out. I rush up to the front door and push it open dropping  my bags as I enter the house.

"Mi amor I'm home" I call out and immediately hear footsteps, I look up to see her walking down the stairs and the biggest smile crosses my face.

"Welcome home D" she says as I wrap her up gently in my arms

"I missed you beautiful" I say pressing a soft linger kiss to her lips before stepping back from her "look at you, you look incredible" I smile before crouching down to be eye level with her bump "papi's home" I whisper before kissing her bump.

"There's been a slight change of plan with finding out" she says as I stand up

"What do you mean?" I ask "I've been looking forward to this"

"We're still going to find out it's just my mom has a surprise for us" she smiles

"That's nice of her" I smile "lead the way princesa"

Taking my hand she leads me towards the kitchen where he mom is stood next to a large box. Smiling she walks over to me, I go to shake her hand only for her to take me by surprise by wrapping  me up in hug.

"It's lovely to finally meet you properly" she says as I hug her back "my you're not a small man are you, now it makes sense" she smiles standing back from me

"What makes sense?" I ask and she chuckles

"At the scan they said the baby was a little bigger than average" Zoe says "but with a 6ft 7in 240lb father I kind of expected it"

"Taking after papi already" I smile "so can we please find out what our not so little rockstar is?" I ask

"Ok I thought we could do a little better than just opening an envelope" Gloria says removing the lid of the box and taking down the sides to reveal a beautifully iced cake "the inside is the colour of the gender" she says handing me a knife

I move Zoe so that she is infront of me and wrap my arms around her as we both grip the knife, together we cut into it and pull out a small slice to reveal a blue cake.

"Looks like your dream came true D" Zoe says turning her head to smile up at me

"Thank you for making it come true" I smile "I love you" I say leaning down and kissing her lovingly

"I love you too" she says "now we need to think of names"
