Damian POV

Resting my arms on my legs I look down at the floor as I nervously rub my hands together. Right now it felt like there was an entire world between me and the woman I love and yet she was only at the other side of the room.

She had tossed and turned in my arms most of the night and on a couple of occasions I could have sworn I heard her sobbing quietly. I hadn't let go of her for a second I kept her close to me hoping she would feel my love surrounding her and fall asleep.

I had got up this morning with the intention of going out and getting a test but the second I tried to leave the bed she was begging me that to leave her. I tried to get her to go with me but she didn't want to leave the room and when I finally convinced her to let me go I felt like an asshole for leaving her.

My girl, my princesa is scared to death and I feel useless. I want to be exactly what she needs, I want to take away her fear but I can't and it kills me that I can't help her.

After doing the test she didn't say a word just walked over to the other side of the room and sat down by the window. She didn't even look at me.
The timer on her phone goes off and I watch as she visibly tenses up before stopping it. Standing up she walks back to the bathroom silently once again not looking at me.

After a few minutes I hear soft sobs coming from the bathroom, I go to her and find her sat on the floor looking at the test in her shaking hands.

"Talk to me mi amor" I say sitting next to her on the floor

"It's positive" she sobs "I'm pregnant"

"We don't have to talk about it if you don't want to. If you need time, space, I'll give you that" I say taking her hand in mine "just don't push me away"

"I'm sorry I didn't mean to" she says looking up at me "I'm just scared"

"I know" I say pulling her to me "I wish I could take away your fear princesa" I say kissing the top of her head

"Do you have anything to do today?" She asks

"I have a couple of interviews to do" I say "you can come with me if you like"

"I want to stay here" she says "I'm tired and I don't feel like seeing people today"

"You can't stay in here forever mi amor" I say gently rubbing her back "we go to the next city tomorrow and you know noodles will want to see you"

"I know it's just for today" she says "I want to try and catch up on my sleep"

"Alright I'll be back as soon as I can" I say "I love you"

"I love you too" she says "always"

I help her to her feet and we head into the room together, while I get ready to go she gets back into bed and snuggles under the duvet. Within seconds she is asleep, I walk over and gently move her hair of her face and place a featherlight kiss on her cheek before leaving.

I didn't want to leave her but I couldn't get out of these interviews.  However I know that if I keep my answers short I'll be back with her in no time.
It worried me that she didn't want to leave the room and I had a feeling it would be the same at the next place.

"Hey Damian where's Zoe?" A voice calls out and I turn to find Dolph catching up to me

"She uh, she's sleeping" I say "she had a bad night so she's catching  up"

"Zoe never has bad nights, what's going on?" He asks, of course I should have known better than to try and fob off her best friend

"Nothing, like I said she's tired" I say "and no it's nothing to do with me"

"Yeah then why do you look like you have the weight of the world on your shoulders?" He asks "She's my best friend Damian and I care about her too, if there is something wrong I want to know"

"There's nothing wrong, not really" I sigh "I'd say talk to her but she doesn't want to see anyone right now and she won't leave the room"

"Is she upset about something?" He asks "has something happened? I just want to know she's alright"

"Look I'm telling you this becuase you may be able to help" I say "she...she's pregnant and she's scared and I don't know how to help her"

"Oh man" he sighs "other than being there for her there's not much you can do, how do you feel about it?

"I'm happy, excited even" I smile "but I feel like I have to hide it"

"Give her time" he says "once she knows everything's ok, she'll feel  happier, and I hereif either of you need me"

"Thanks man" I nod "maybe swing by later see if she'll see you"

"I will" he says "but I know she's in good hands with you"
