Zoe POV

Feeling the warmth of the morning sun on my face I open my eyes and smile at the handsome man sleeping soundly beside me. His hair which is slightly over his face is moving gently with each breath that escapes his slightly parted full lips.

Yesterday had been a far better day than I had ever thought it would be, I got my divorce and I got D back. As I think back over what happened my smile widens. After noticing my bare feet he had piggy backed me to the car and when we got home he carried me into the house.
We took a shower together, he gave me a foot massage and then let's just say normal service resumed. One day away from him had felt like an eternity but last night it was like we hadn't missed a second.

Ever since we got together D and I were like rabbits, we took every chance we could to make love and I mean every chance and last night was no exception. We just couldn't get enough of each other, and the second we are alone it's impossible to resist.

Moving the hair off his face I place a feather light kiss on his lips before gently getting out of bed. I put on Damian's t-shirt before grabbing a hair tie and tying my hair back in a messy bun.

Heading into the kitchen I start the coffee and start looking through the fridge and cupboards to see what I can make for breakfast. I settle on scrabbled eggs, bacon and hash browns.

I place the hashbrowns in the oven before warming up the skillet for the bacon. I reach out to turn on the radio but I'm stopped by arms wrapping around me.

"Why aren't you in bed mi amor" he says kissing my neck softly

"I was awake so I thought I'd make breakfast" I say leaning back against him and wrapping my arms over his

"I'm hungry but not for food" he says kissing along my jaw causing me to bite my lip "come back to bed with me"

"We've spent so much time in bed already" I chuckle as his hands slide under the t shirt and across my bare stomach causing my body to tingle.

"Let's see, there's the couch, right here in the kitchen, the shower" he says punctuating each suggestion with a kiss to my neck "I don't care where I make love to you princesa" he whispers as his hands travel up and cup my breasts massaging them gently.

"Mmm D" I breathe reaching behind me and gently stroking his length, he groans softly before turning me around, lifting me up and sitting me on the work top. Standing between my legs he lifts the t shirt up and takes a nipple in his mouth swirling his tongue over it. My hands tangle in his hair as my head falls back resting against the cupboard.

He lifts the shirt the rest of the way up but just as he's about to remove it there is a knock at the door that makes us stop.

"Ignore it they'll leave" he says going right back to what he was doing only for us to hear another knock "are you fucking kidding me" he groans as I pull the t shirt back down and jump down from the work top.

"I'll get rid of them" I say kissing his lips "you get the bacon started"

Whoever this was it better be important, opening the door I find Todd standing there holding a brown envelope. He smiles at me before looking me up and down.

"Hey I'm sorry did I wake you?" He asks nervously playing with the envelope

"No you didn't wake me" I say "what can I do for you Todd?"

"I wanted to drop these off myself" he says handing me the envelope "it's done you are no longer Mrs Preston, it might have ended badly but for the most part we were happy right?"

"Yeah we were" I say taking the envelope "thanks for bringing this"

"Did you manage to catch him by the way?" He asks "I hope us hugging didn't cause a problem"

"We're good, we sorted things out" I smile "you'll find some one tok Todd, some one far better than me, who can make you happy"

"You're a hard act to follow sweetheart" he smiles "you take care, I wish you both nothing but the best"

Heading back inside I find Damian finishing up breakfast with the radio playing softly, he smiles at me before spotting the envelope and his brow furrows.

"It's over" I say with a half smile "I'm divorced"

"Are you ok?" He asks walking over to me "you're not having second thoughts are you?"

"No not at all I just can't believe it's finally done" I say as he wraps his arms around me and pulls me against him

"It's just you and I now princesa" he whispers as he begins to gently sway us to the music, he keeps one arm around me and takes my hand with the other so that we are dancing properly, he spins me out, pulls me back to him and dips me making me laugh.

"What are you doing D?" I laugh as he brings me back up

"I've already done it" he smiles "You're smiling"

"I'm glad you're here D" I say resting my head against his chest

"Me too, I love you princesa" he says softy

"I love you too" I reply "like you said from now on it's me and you"
