Zoe POV

Laying in Damian's arms the happiness I wanted to feel just wasn't there, despite my best efforts I hadn't forgotten a damn thing and I was well aware that there was something about me that the man laying beside me didn't know.

I feel his fingertips gently grazing over my hip and I listen to his heart beating. I had found some one that made me truly happy and I wasn't prepared to lose that, so taking a deep breath I shift myself so that my head is propped up by my hand and I'm looking at him.

"D there's something I need to tell you" I say and as he looks at me his face falls

"Are you going to say you're pregnant becuase I swear to god I've been careful" he says and I chuckle softly

"No I'm not pregnant" I say as I run my fingers over his chest and he relaxes "but there is something I haven't told you about me, I.....I'm married"

"Married!" He gasps his eyes widening "so this is an affair?" He asks

"No D, this is a relationship" I say "My husband and I have been separated for a year, he had an affair and blamed it on me being away so much. Truth things were never right between us after........anyway I asked for a divorce and he refused, until now"

"Why did he refuse?" He asks and I sigh

"Becuase me siting adultery on his part meant he had no control over what I got" I say "but now he's filed his own papers saying we both committed adultery"

"He's using our relationship against you?" He says and I can tell he's annoyed

"No he doesn't know about us, I have a feeling its Dolph he's using against me" I say "you know I thought you would be alot more angry"

"It's a shock I'll admit but as long as I know you are one hundred percent mine I don't care if you're not divorced yet" he says cupping my cheek "we'll get through this together, I'm not going anywhere princesa"

I'm so happy at his words that I literally throw myself at him wrapping my arms around him as best I can. As he hugs me back I hear him chuckle lightly and I feel much better even if I haven't told him everything.

"Thank you" I say "for being so understanding"

"Your welcome" he says kissing the top of my head "I know there is something else but you tell me when you are ready"

"I will" I say as settle back down beside him

"Has it put you off marriage?" He asks

"No, if the right person came along I would definitely do it again" I say "I just won't rush into it this time"

Todd and I had a whirlwind romance and admittedly we rushed into marriage, with hindsight we never should have got married but at the time I thought I was going to be with him forever, what a fool I was.

As for the rest of it, I will tell him it's just not as easy to talk about, in a way it's still raw and I think it always will be a little bit.

Damian POV

I had been shocked when she told me she was married I was also worried about about what that meant for us, becuase I won't ever give her up without a fight.

Once she explained everything I started to relax and I realised that as long as I knew she was mine I didn't care. I noticed that there was something she skipped over and whatever it was, whenever she was ready to tell me we would deal with it together.

It may have only been a week but I felt like I had been with her much longer than that. I was hooked and I didn't care who knew it, she has me completely and nothing and no one will change that.

"Are you staying tonight princesa?" I ask as I pull her closer to me

"I'd love to but Dolph will be coming to see me later" she says

"Does he know yet?" I ask and she shakes her head "it's ok, I know you've had other things on your mind"

"I wanted to tell him but I couldn't do it" she says "but I will I promise"

"We could tell him together if you want?" I suggest

"That would make it worse" she says "It's best I tell him on my own"

"How about you call me when he's gone and I come to you?" I suggest "I don't want you to be alone tonight"

"I'd like that" she smiles "that would be nice, I should really get going" she says getting out of the bed.

I watch as she gets dressed and grabs her phone, before leaving she comes over to me and give me a lingering kiss.

"I'll see you soon D" she says "I call as soon as he leaves"

"See you soon princesa" I smile "I'll be waiting for your call"
