(Twelve) Prepare the Winchesters

The rest of the early morning went by smoothly. And, by smoothly, I mean several more lustful moans, closed mouth groans, and many places where hands can make a man happy. If you know what I mean. (Wink.)

"Dean, I gotta... take a... shower," I panted, kissing Dean's eyelids before wiggling away from his side.

"Why so soon?" He whined, making a pouting face as I picked up my jeans and shirt from the floor.

"It's been an hour," I pointed out, quickly sliding my shirt over my head but not bothering with the jeans.

"Boo." Dean snapped, crossing his arms and he sitting up on the couch.

"And," I glanced at the clock. "I have to get to work soon."

"I can drive you." Dean suggested, standing up from the sofa, and swiftly moving to my side. "But, only if I get ten more minutes with you."

"So demanding." I cooed, smirking.

"You like it, babe?" Dean asked, breathless, burying his head in the crook of my neck.

"Mmm... No. I have to take a shower and go to work." I said, bluntly. I turned away from him and stumbled towards the bathroom. I turned around before closing the door, only to see Dean with his mouth hung open in surprise that I turned him down. I've won again.

"Give me ten minutes." I winked, before shutting the bathroom door behind me.

"Do you really have to go to work?" Dean asked, starting up the Impala.

"If I want to have a roof over my head and not starve to death, then yes." I said, leaning back in the leather seat.

"I should probably get a job then," Dean mumbled, tightening his grip on the steering wheel as he drove into town. I glanced over at him, my eyes softening at the sight of him. I know he is trying his best to fix things, isn't that all that matters?

"When are you going to meet your brother?" I asked quietly. I wanted to know, but I wasn't sure how to ask without triggering a distant memory.

Dean sighed, slouching back against the seat. "Tonight."

My eyes widened. "Tonight? Already?"

"Yes."

"And... you want me to come with you?" I asked, hesitantly.

Dean looked over at me, his green eyes suddenly dull. "I would like that."

"Okay, Dean." I breathed, biting my lower lip. "I'll come with you."

"This means a lot to me, Cas." Dean said, wrapping his right hand around my left.

"Where are you guys going to meet?" I asked, glancing down at how perfectly his hand covered mine.

"At our old house in town." Dean's voice went quiet, almost inaudible over the hum of the Impala's engine.

"Oh." I mouthed. Dean rarely talked about his past, but from what he's told me, his old home was the last time all of his family was together.

"He said, 'Show up at our old home, if you even remember where it is.'" Dean croaked, squeezing my hand. I refused to look over at him, for I knew he was probably crying. I couldn't stand to see him hurting like that.

"It'll be okay. You know where the house is, don't you? You will prove him wrong, and then you guys can reunite again. It won't be much longer." I persuaded, trying to sound convincing.

"Are you sure everything will be okay?" Dean asked, his voice weak, but growing in confidence.

I finally glanced over at him. He kept his eyes strained on the road that was dimly lit by the sunrise, his lips slightly parted. He was beautiful; Inside and out, and I owned him my word.

"I promise, Dean."

The Café was unbelievably slow for a Tuesday morning. Only a quarter of the regulars showed up, including Dean. He sat in the same spot again, except instead of just siting there and mindlessly staring out the window, he kept coming up to the front counter.

"Would you like something, Dean?" I had asked (for the 5th time).

"Nope. Just looking." He responded every time. Then he would sit back down at his usual table, and watch me work from afar. I wasn't sure why he wouldn't just leave and then come back, but when I confronted him about it, he pretended he didn't hear me. He's such an assbutt.

When Dean came up for the sixth time, I decided to try a different method. As he looked at the various pastries and desserts, I walked up to him, and simply stood beside him. Pretending to be interested at the displayed food.

"Aren't you gonna ask if you can help me?" Dean mumbled to me, but still gazing at the desserts.

"Nope. But, why do you keep walking up here every 30 minutes and order nothing? It's annoying," I groaned, studying a chocolate filled doughnut.

"I like to get a better look at you up here. It's hard to see you from the back." He muttered, leaning in slightly.

"Creeper." I mumbled, gently shoving him with my shoulder.

"I'm a sexy stalker, not a creeper. Get it right, Cas." Dean smirked, finally stealing a glance at me.

"My shift is over in an hour. Drive me back to my place and I can help you get ready for tonight." I suggested, a sly smile playing on my lips. "Or, ya know, help you get undressed."

"Can't wait," he whispered before causally walking back to his table, hands shoved in his jacket pockets.

"You weren't kidding when you meant to get me ready, were you?" Dean asked, once we reached my apartment.

"Nope." I said, mentally high-fiving myself. I looked through his drawer of clothes that he leaves at my apartment, wondering which shirt would look best on him.

"You do know that I'm just meeting my little brother...? Not the president, Cas." Dean complained, when I held up two plaid shirts.

"Blue or Red?" I asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Blue," Dean muttered, grabbing the shirt from my hand. "But, only because it matches your eyes."

"Oh, how romantic of you." I gushed, rolling my eyes, and throwing the red plaid back in the dresser of clothes. I turned to see Dean slipping off his worn Black Sabbath t-shirt, and shrugging on the plaid shirt. He fumbled with the buttons by his collar bone, muttering curse words as he misplaced a button.

"Here," I said, taking a step towards him. "Let me help."

I undid the buttons he misplaced, and swiftly buttoned his shirt from his collar bones to his abdomen. When I was finished, I smoothed out the material around his shoulders and smiled.

"I should get dressed in your house more often." Dean murmured, staring down at me.

"I wouldn't mind that. But, we should get going." I hummed, walking towards the door. It was going to be a long night, so why not jump in head first?
