(Eighteen) Surprise! I'm Gay.
The rest of the week was like a blissful dream. Monday, Dean bought me brand new coffee mugs for the shop (apparently his job is paying off!).
Tuesday, he come over and we watched one of his favorite movies. Even though we didn't really watch the movie- it's the thought that counts.
Wednesday, he surprised me by making a 3 course meal, to make up for Saturday nights disaster. It was nice having Dean around and by my side. I was also happy that he was getting over his brother. He didn't really talk much about Sam anymore, just that he was going back to California on Friday. If Dean was happy, I was happy.
So, when I woke up Thursday morning, I had a determined mindset. Dean had been the perfect boyfriend to me all week; It was only fair for me to return the favor.
I glanced up at the Cafés clock above the door, tapping my foot impaciently. Only 30 more minutes until my break. I peered over the crowd at Dean's table. He was there, of course, sipping on coffee and reading the local newspaper. He had been waiting for my shifts to end all week. Time to make all that waiting worth it.
"Why are you fidgeting so much?" A voice asked behind me. I swung around to meet Meg with her eyebrow raised.
"I-I'm not. Just, um, gotta use the bathroom." I lied, my eyes flickering towards the clock again.
"Then just go." Meg said, narrowing her eyes.
"I'll wait until break." I said, shrugging. Meg gave me a questioning look before rolling her eyes and throwing me her usual insult.
10 more minutes.
I watched Dean yawn, squeezing his eyes shut and then opening them again. Dirty thoughts started seeping into my mind as I waited the last 5 minutes.
Exactly 1 minute before my break, I got out from behind the register and swiftly made my way to Dean's table. I tried to keep a smirk from forming on my face, but it was too difficult.
"Hello, Dean. Would you like a refill?" I asked, when I reached his usual spot by the window.
"Sure, Cas." Dean responded, smiling.
"Then follow me, and I'll get that refill for you." I said smoothy, winking at the end. Dean tilted his head slightly, a sly smile spreading on his lips. He stood up from his chair, and followed me to the break room.
I barely even closed the break room door behind Dean, before slamming him against the wall, my hands caressing each side of his face. Dean sucked in a sharp breath when my mouth pressed against his.
"We gotta make this quick." I breathed, unbuttoning his plaid shirt. "My break ends in 15 minutes."
"Good thing I can fuck you in 10." Dean whispered against my neck, unbuckling my belt. Electricity flowed through my veins, so I pushed him harder against the rooms wall, grabbing a handful of his hair. I couldn't keep my lips off his as my pants fell around my ankles.
"You... couldn't wait until tonight?" Dean asked, quickly unbuttoning my work shirt.
"Hell no." I responded, bringing a hand down and pressing hard against his lower abdomen. I palmed him lightly through his jeans, causing a low groan from the back of his throat.
I didn't remember hearing the click of the door opening, but I did remember the terrified scream of Meg.
"OH MY-- WHAT THE HELL?" Meg shrieked, turning away from Dean and I.
I fumbled to pull my pants up to my waist, while Dean tried to pull his shirt my back on. Why do we keep getting interrupted?!
"What the actual hell, Cas?" Meg swore, her hands covering her eyes as we got fully clothed again.
"Uh, um, Surprise..." I stuttered, laughing nervously. "I'm gay...?"
Meg finally opened her eyes, but her face was still laced with horror. "No shit!"
I sighed, glancing up at Dean, who was frozen with embarrassment. "I'm sorry that you... had to see that, Meg."
"Yeah, you better apologize." Meg spat, narrowing her eyes. "I wish I could un-see what I just saw, Cas."
"Meg, just calm down." I sighed, rubbing my eyes. This plan went to shit.
"I am calm!" Meg yelled, furrowing her eyebrows. I shook my head, and leaned my head against Dean's shoulder. Meg suddenly took a step back, tilting her head. Her expression dramatically changed from angry to curious.
"Wait... are you two...?" Meg asked, trailing off at the end.
I nodded, smiling up at Dean. He relaxed a bit, smiling nervously at Meg.
"Oh, I totally ship this." Meg mumbled, nodding approvingly and raising an eyebrow at the both of us.
"Ship...?" Dean asked, sounding as confused as I felt.
"Nothing, nothing. Just... not in the café anymore, alright? I came in here to make sure you were okay, Cassie. It sounded like you tripped over a table and fell out a window or something." Meg huffed, rolling her eyes.
I nodded, feeling incredibly awkward about this whole situation. Meg probably thought I was just picking random guys off the street and doing them whenever. Talk about embarrassing situations...
"I'm going to go back to work now." Meg said, smirking. "You two keep it down in here." She winked before exiting the room, leaving us both embarrassed and shocked.
"I'm going to have nightmares about this." I muttered, buttoning up my work shirt.
"You'll be fine." Dean comforted, helping me fasten the belt around my waist.
"I'll be fine if you're by my side." I said, smiling warmly. I glanced up at him, but he turned his head to avoid my gaze. My smile faded a little.
"Yeah." He mumbled, opening the break room's door. I furrowed my eyebrows, frowning slightly.
Something didn't seem right. "Are you ok-"
"I'm fine, Cas. You should get back to work." Dean snapped, gesturing towards the open door. A bitter feeling clenched at my chest. I shook my head, ignoring the feeling. I smoothed out my hair and exited the break room.
But, something didn't feel right.
