KIRATI'S POV

"I hope I am not disturbing something", we all heard a voice. I know exactly to whom that voice belongs to.

"Arjun Anna (elder brother)", I immediately almost shouted. I used to address Arjun as Anna because his mother is also from TamilNadu only. Her native is Madurai. But she got married to Arjun's father who is a North Indian.

"Hi my sweet little sister", he entered like a hero. But wait what he is doing in my office? These Khuranna's are his business rivals.

"You forgot your best friend dumbass", Dev sir gave a bump on Arjun Anna (elder brother) back.

"OOUCH! That was really hurting man", Arjun Anna gave back what Dev sir gave him.

Oh god! Veena already said that Dev sir and Arjun Anna are best friends. God, I am forgetting a lot of things nowadays.

"How are you Adi?", Arjun Anna gave a friendly hug this time.

"I am good buddy. I missed you so much", saying this Dev Sir snuggled in Arjun Anna's neck. I immediately laughed out loud and they turned towards me.

"What's so funny little sis?", Arjun Anna asked me.

"You guys are looking like gay. Oh god! The way Dev sir snuggled in your neck", saying this I again started laughing again. Then I heard another voice who laughed out loud. It was Vishu.

"I told you both right, one day someone will definitely think you as gays", saying this he held his stomach and started laughing. He even fell from chair on the process. We both laughed hysterically. But we forgot the two people in the room who are glaring at us with dreadful eyes.

"IT'S NOT FUNNY", Both Arjun Anna and Dev Sir said together. We both controlled our laugh.

"Anyways what is the sudden necessary to come to our office my rival company's head? Are you going to steal something?", Dev sir asked him dramatically.

"I wish I can steal your research department assistant head but she is way too honest. For now, I just came to give my sister's apartment keys which she forgot early in the morning", saying this Arjun Anna passed me the keys. In the hurry, I forgot the keys.

"Thank you so much Anna. But Veena will reach before me right. Then why you brought this?", I asked him.

"Actually,... Actually Veena and I are going for a date", Arjun Anna said by rubbing his neck. He was blushing too. OMG! THE GREAT ARJUN SINGHANYA IS BLUSHING! I once visited their office to meet Veena. Almost everyone in his office addressed him as Hitler. Here, my best friend Veena as turned him into a love sick puppy.

"Arju, you are blushing. You are whipped man", Dev Sir started teasing Arjun Anna.

"Yea, yea tease me as much as you want. When you will get someone in your life, then you will understand these feelings. I am sure you will be more whipped than me", Arjun Anna said to Dev sir.

"There is no one in this world who can whip me", Dev sir said and my mobile started ringing. I picked up the call and there was an emergency and I immediately blurted out "I will be there". It was the exact time when Dev sir completed the sentence "There is no one in this world who can whip me". Three men looked at me with a blank expression.

"I have to go there is an emergency in the lab sir. I just told them "I will be there". I will take a leave now. Thanks for the keys Anna. Nice talking to you Vishu. Thank you sir", I left immediately.

"One second Kira", Arjun Anna called me.

"You remember what tomorrow is right?", he asked me narrowing his eyes. Ofcourse I remember it is Arjun Anna's parents wedding anniversary. I nodded positively.

"I want you in my house by 6 pm sharp. Kindly bring my lazy fiancé too with you", he said sweetly. I smiled and left.

ADIDEV'S POV

I am happy to see Arjun after a long time. He came to India three years back and over took Rakesh uncle's business. Rakesh uncle and my dad are best friends. They are being friends for more than 45 years. They are childhood friends. Likewise Swetha aunty and my mom Devaki are also best friends. My dad used to say very proudly that the main reason why his and Rakesh uncle's friendship stays strong is because of their partners who are also best friends. Arjun and I used to tell them that we both also will marry best friends so that we can stay like them. But now, everything is changed. I know Arjun's girlfriend name is Veena. He said a lot about Veena. He used to speak about Veena's friend who is helping him and also being very supportive. So it is none other than Kirati.

"Yo bro, back to earth. What are you thinking so deeply?", Arjun asked me.

"Nothing", I told him hiding my emotions.

"You are still thinking about her. Adi, she is not worth it man. Trust me, you will get someone you will rule your heart. Just forget her", Arjun tried to pacify me.

"She cheated me Arjun", my voice came as mere whisper.

"Bhai, you let her cheat you. You shouldn't have believed all her eyes. I never liked her", Vishu joined him. I gave him a glare. He immediately shut his mouth.

"Ok fine. Leave all this. Tomorrow make sure to come to mom and dad's anniversary. They want to meet their son", saying this he patted my shoulder. Rakesh uncle and Swetha aunty considers me as their own son.

"I will surely come", I assured him.

The day went in a blur and after reaching home, I hit my head and slept.

The next day morning as usual I reached office on time. There was a lot of pending works which was there to complete for me. I heard a knock all of a sudden. It was 12.30 pm by that time.

"Yes come in", I told the person. Kirati was standing there nervously and was playing with her fingers .

"What happened Kiru?", I asked her by raising her eyebrows.

"Sir, sir", before she can finish, "Just tell him that you want to go to shopping because you have no dress to wear for tomorrow's party", there were two voices. I went and saw behind the door.

KIRATI'S POV

I was working the next day in my cabin, when I saw Veena entering my cabin.

"What are you doing here?", I asked her.

"No hi nothing, just directly what are you doing here? What kind of a friend are you!", she started her melodrama again.

"Fine Drama Queen, now answer my question", I asked her.

"Lets go for shopping. You have no dresses to wear for today's party. I don't want anyone to tease you this time", she said seriously. She is right, I don't have any party wears with me. I am kind of homely. I wear either palazzos, Patiala, salwar mostly. Even if I wear jeans also I wear only kurta. Last time when I attended Arjun Anna's parents anniversary, some of Veena's colleagues teased me saying that I am looking a oldie. But I give a damn, I feel modernity is not about dresses, it is all about thoughts. Even after wearing all those ultra modern clothes they are very narrow minded people.

"HELLOOOO", Veena shouted.

"Yea, I am here only. Stop shouting.", I told her irritatingly.

"Where are you going?", there comes Vishu.

"Who is this new boy? Your peon?", Veena asked me.

"Hello madam, this is my office", Vishu said authoratively.

"Is he Adidev? I thought he will be looking handsome. He is looking like a dough bag", Veena said and before Vishu starts I stopped them.

"Veena, this is Vishvesh. Prem sir and Dev sir's brother. Vishu this is my friend Veena and also Arjun Anna's fiancé", I introduced them.

"Oh sorry Bhabhi", Vishu said sheepishly.

"Sorry from my side too", Veena said politely. Thank god the cold war got over.

"So where are you guys going?", Vishu asked and Veena narrated the whole story why we are going for shopping.

"We are all going for shopping then", Vishu said.

"WHAT?", I asked him.

"Come on Kira, even I don't want anyone to tease my friend. I am with Veena Bhabhi now. Go to Adi Bhai's cabin. Knock the door. Ask permission then we will leave", Vishu said me the procedure as if I am doing some experiment.

"We both will guide you", Veena and Vishu gave Hi-Fi to each other. Omg these two people are planning to kill me for sure. I nervously knocked Dev Sir's cabin. They both were standing at the edge of the door. He asked me to come in and asked why did I come here. Before I can answer these two shouted. Great timing.

"What are you doing here Vishu? Who is this girl?", Dev sir asked them.

"Bhai this is Veena Arjun Bhai's fiancé", Vishu introduced Dev sir and Veena.

"Nice meeting you Mr. Khurana. If you don't mind can I just take my friend for an hour or two for shopping? As you know today is Arjun's parents wedding anniversary. Kirati don't have any party wear. So if you don't mind", Veena stopped.

"Yea sure, take her.", Dev sir replied in a very cool manner.

"Thank you so much Mr. Khurana", Veena said. "Veena it will be better if you call me Adi", Dev sir said.

"Ok then Adi. I will take my best friend and also your brother for company", saying this she pulled me out.

Vishu said he will get his car so that we three can go comfortably. Veena said him some destination and I was shocked to see the place where we ended. Never in my life I am going to enter this place.
