*Morning rises, but due to the huge trees blocking the sunlight is dim. The forest is still foggy and misty. Shuro, Luke, and Polly eat sandwiches that the maidens made for breakfast, and after eating they continue their trip to the Temple of Andrea. Along the way they'll often stop to rest, train, eat, and keep going. This would go on for a few days, until they come across a large Mountain. Unable to find a path that they can take the carriage and horses by they had to climb the rest of the way. The horses nigh as Shuro fed them yummy food for fire horses like coal, and small meteoroid bits for them to eat. The horses love the tasty treat and Shuro unchain them letting them go free. The horses walk to them and nigh, some rub their snout against Luke hand.

Then Shuro whip at the ground with the rope he had and it startle the horses making them charge in different directions. Then after getting only what they needed out the carriage they left it. Polly was not confident they make it to the top. Luke saw it as a easy task since he could levitate, Shuro thought it would a great way to get some training in. Climbing up the Mountain was the hardest thing Polly every did. One there was the fear of falling to your doom, two there was the fact the trees were like a foggy and misty forest that anyone would get lost in, three there were monsters and beast waiting for them to fall, four heights are never a strong point, five Luke looks like he's enjoying the look on my face, and then there's the peddles of rocks that will sometimes fall. Polly kept climbing, as Shuro support her from behind. Luke however just enjoy taunting Polly. His main goal was to get her to fall off, but Shuro help Polly when she was. Shuro shakes his head as they climb.

They took rest in little caves in the Mountain they came across. Resting, eating their food, and at the sign of dawn light they continue to move. Soon their food supplies were getting low, and they had to preserve what little food they had. Shuro would sometimes skip meals, while he let Luke and Polly eat. Polly would worry and offer some food, but he refuse saying he already had something when really he hadn't eaten for most of the day. This continue for four days. By then they ran out of food and there were rarely any sign of Mountain animals, and when their were Shuro would go and hunt. Polly still had trouble digesting kill, and cook over the fire meat.

Before every meal Polly pray, and then eat. Luke did as well. On the forth day Polly climbs till she feels something prickly against her hand. It was green? Grass Polly felt grass against her hand. She pull herself up and help Shuro up. To their surprise their lay an entire forest.

*it was tropical. There were grass, mushrooms, trees that had different fruits, bushes full of berries. It was like a dream to Polly. Shuro just smile as Luke took three fruits from a tree. It was big. The shape was like a pumpkin, yet it was purple like a eggplant. Luke hand one to each and toss his up in the air and caught it.* "Go on Polly take a bite," Shuro said. *Luke took a bit into it. Juices was dripping and he was satisfied with the favors.

It was mouth watery. Polly look to Shuro who did the same as he begun to walk ahead. Polly was about to try and pill the shell off when Luke shout, "What are you stupid?" "No," Polly reply confuse on why they just bit into it like that. If it's a pumpkin they're suppose to take the shell off not eat the whole thing she thought to herself. Luke landed next to her as he took her pumpkin.* "They're call Pumplants genius or eggkin is another name," Luke said taking another bite into his as juices leak through his mouth. "Their juicy, sweet, sometimes their bitter if you get a rotten one or if you pick them before their rip. Their mouth watery if you know what I mean.

Take a bit. And don't pill it you're ruin the favor and juices of it." *Luke toss it back to Polly as he floats to Shuro while they await for Polly to bit into her's. Polly look to them then did as Luke suggested. She bite into it face first. As Polly bite into it a bust of juice hit her first. It was refreshing as water yet juicy and sweet like when you bit into a rip plum. The sweetness of the juices was mouth watery indeed. Polly face was cover in the juice. She was first mad at Luke for not warning her it would bust like it did, but soon forgotten why once all the favors hit her.

Polly felt like all her worries just vanish. Polly took another bit to have more juices quashing up to her face. She try to catch it all in her mouth, but it was too much of it. Polly ate 1/4 of her Pumplant in less then 10 minutes. Again it was big and juicy. Polly was full and satisfy with it. Polly put the rest in her bag she carry over her shoulder.* "Let's get going we need to find a town," Shuro said. They walk farer into the forest where they encounter quiet a sight.

There before them lay a small village. Their were houses made of mud and clay. There were farming areas were they grow fruits and vegetables. There were more of those Pumplants growing alone with a few other fruits and veggies.

Polly was amaze at the sight. Some women carry baskets of harvest fruits and vegetables over their head as did some men. The warriors sharpen their weapons, and check their armor. The children play with each other as some kick ball. Shuro look around and smile. Luke look around their surrounding till he notice they were being watch. Polly was looking at everything till a ball came rolling in her direction. She look down, when little boy stop in front of her. He look frighten to go nearer to Polly.

Polly notices that the boy is afraid of her, so to make it easier on him she roll the ball to him. He pick it up and smile a bit before running off to play with the other children.* "Let's fine a inn we can stay in," Shuro continue. He walks in the middle as Luke floats to his left, Polly to his right. *Luke whisper something that Polly cannot hear and Shuro just nods. Shuro respond again not allowing Polly to hear then Luke groans, but nod. They walk to a cabin that look like they were an inn. Shuro open the door to see a woman dress in a green light shade of lime with large leaves sew into the dress to make it look like ruffles at the end of the dress.

Polly look around the area to see there were some beds neatly place by the walls and window. There was even an up staircase leading up. Shuro talk with the woman, and she had him sign a few papers then he hand her a bag of money, as she gave him two set of keys in return. While Shuro did that Luke stood to the right of him a bit bord, but he did like the peaceful village. Polly soon wanders away from the group to do a little exploring on her. Polly walks farer in the inn looking at some beds then she look out the window. She saw the children of the village playing with balls, most chatting, and others playing tag, or hide and seek. The women carry basket full of fruits and veggies.

Polly enjoy the sights and smells of the village. It was peaceful, Polly decide to go out to feel the fresh air. Polly enjoy the breeze when a young boy who look to be around her age jump down off the roof. He has shoulder length black hair, his eyes a piercing yellow. He wears a kimono that has red lingering on the trim, black is the base color, as there were design to make out a fire bird using reddish organ dots. Polly saw on his body that he carry a twin set of daggers, with a katara in it's sheath on his side. The daggers on his back. The young boy look to the girl with his yellow like snake eyes then turn to leave. Polly soon snap out of it when she begin approach him. Polly felt a bit scare how he gave her a gear that meant to warn people away from him.

Polly beings to stutter trying to spit words out when she said to the boy,* " Umm.. Wh-who are you," a female voice call out. *The boy ignore her question as he continue to walk away from her. Polly try to reach out to him when he disappear in a huff of white smoke. Polly not sure what to make of it when she felt a tap on her shoulder making her jump.* "ah," Polly scream until she realize it was just Luke. "What's your problem jumpy," Luke ask with a scoff. "I'm sorry, I thought that you were...," Polly was cut off when Luke start walking inside not showing the slightest care in what happen only saying,

"Shuro wants you to come check out your room and get your key," Luke said shutting the door on the incoming girl. "Ohhh... okay," Polly quietly said to herself. She open the door giving one last thought to herself about the young male she saw only moments before Luke came. Polly then close the door behind her and head upstairs to meet her waiting companies. Shuro book two rooms for them. One for Polly and the other for Luke and Shuro to share. Shuro hand Polly her own set of keys to her room, when she enter the boy's room.* "Well now that we have a place to stay at what do we do now," Polly ask. "Speak to one of the elders about entering the Temple of Andrea," Shuro answer. "Okay," Polly nods, she soon debut in her head weather she should tell them about her encounter with the strange boy.

(Maybe, ... Maybe I should tell them) Polly thought to herself. (Oh.. But then again it's not like he attack me, or anything so maybe I shouldn't?) Polly thoughts were soon interrupt by Luke* "Hey stupid this is the "boy's" room," he said rudely. "Unless you're a boy you can stay, but you're not so get out." "Luke remembered your father's words," Shuro reminded him putting their luggage away. "You're not the boss of me," Luke hiss at Shuro. "Yes, I'm not," Shuro respond. "But I'm the bodyguard of Miss Polly, and your father gave me a order to make sure you two were getting along. So I follow the orders of miss Polly, and your Father. Not you." "I don't want her here," Luke shout seething with anger.

"I'll just excuse myself," Polly said bowing before leaving the bitterly sour boy with Shuro. Polly couldn't rid herself of the strange boy who she ran into. Something about his eyes were troubling. His expression said stay away, but something told her he wasn't all he seem. As Polly was walking she saw that same boy from before staring out the window in a distance. Polly hesitates before approaching the boy, when he unsheathed his Katara holding it to her neck. Polly gasp holding still, when he realize it was just a girl he slowly move away from her. Sheathing his blade and returning his attention back to the window, the boy remains silent. Polly approach the boy close enough to feel a intest aura from him. Polly eyes widen with fear, as to his cold aura.

Her breathing got ragging, as her voice became shaky. Polly took a few steps back from the intest aura coming from the boy. When he turn his attention to the girl. His soul piercing yellow eyes stare deeply into her own, Polly froze with fear.

Ruby: Was this the end for Polly? Would she be kill by the mystery boy? Who is the boy before her? What is his past? Stay tune to more adventures of (Angel of Light and Dark.) Cut!
