This summer was burning hotter than usual. Along with the Triple S, STARISH also completed their tour before summer ended. Their final concert of the tour, Maji Love Live was held in Tokyo. Quartet Night and HEAVENS performed as special guests.People were more fired up with the appearance of the two special groups.

HEAVENS had made their typical entrance; suddenly coming out from under the stage on large pillars.

Now after all those works, Raging Otori gave HEAVENS and Catarina three days off.

"We're here!" Van spread his arms. "This sand, this ocean smell, this really is Okinawa!"

"I didn't know our agency had such a place," Yamato said.

"Its one of the private properties of Raging Entertainment. But I can't believe dad let us stay here," Eiji answered Yamato.

"Even so, since we are here, let's enjoy our stay here.After all we are the only ones here," added the elder Otori.

"Yeah,since we don't know when he'll change his mind," Nagi declared.

"Right," Kira agreed.

"Mou!Then What are we waiting for? Lets jump into the sea." Van ran on the sand before swimming in the ocean."Aah!It feels great!"

"Hey!!Wait for me!" Nagi jumped in, followed by Yamato.

"Eiji,can you swim in the ocean?You used to be scared." The leader turned to his brother in concern.

"Nii-san, that was when I was really small."Eiji sweatdropped. "I can swim really well now. Let me show you." The younger brother pulled his big brother into the sea with him.

"Do you want to soak before sitting under the shades?"Kira asked the pale blonde boy.

"Yes.Amakusa wants to embrace the sea first."

Finally,the two quiet pair joined their bandmates in the sea. As they were already soaked, they didn't notice their composer standing far away from the sand, her hands gripping her parasol tightly. The ocean breeze delicately swayed her summer cardigan, that she wore over her cream coloured top and blue shorts.

The first one to notice the female standing was,

"Oi Rinna! Why are you just standing there?The water is really cool." Nagi shouted.

Nooo, don't drag me there!

"I'm fine here...or maybe back in the resort. You know what,I'll just head back there!" Catarina said turning on her heels.

Just as she was about to, "Kyaa!"
She was picked up from behind. The parasol fell from her hands into the sand.

"Now now Na-chan, you can't enjoy the beach if all you're doing is standing under an umbrella.

Wasn't he in the ocean?When did he even reach here!?

Van started to run with the girl in his arms. Catarina had to wrap her arms around him in order not to fall.

"Nooo!!!Van, take me back!It's too hot!! The sand is burning.The sun is burning. The world is burning! I can't stand this heat!!I'm gonna die of heatstroke!!" She whined.

The eldest brunette sweatdropped at her drama. But he still grinned, "But the water is cool like Nagi-chan said."

"But I can't swim!"

"Wait what?!"

"I said I can't swim."

"Wha?!Why?" Van's feet were on the sea water.

"Because all the water of lakes and everywhere were frozen in my 'ice kingdom'!" The female glared at the shocked brunette. "So, don't you dare throw me on the sea."

"Okay. But you can soak your feet in the water. That way you don't have to fear drowning." Van was going to put the girl on the knee-length sea water. But she clung to him.

"No,it's hot!"

"Trust me,Na-chan. It's not."

"But-but..." Van released the blonde into the water with a splash.

"......"

"Na-chan?"

"It's pleasant."

"See?" He grinned in victory. The rest came from the deeper parts of the ocean towards them.

"Rin can't swim?" Shion timidly asked.

"Nope."Catarina replied, not moving from her comfortable place in the water.

"Its alright,Rin-chan. If you're afraid if the water, you can stay near the shore." The said woman nodded.

"Van,you shouldn't have forced her here," Kira simply said.

"What?! I only wanted Na-chan to enjoy the water!"

"I guess,I should thank you." She slightly smiled as she felt the cool water reach above her knees.

"Do you want me to teach you?" Eiichi proposed.

"No,that's not necessary. I'd rather enjoy the water like this." She went further into the water so that the water goes up to her thigh.

"Be careful though. Don't get too deep." Eiichi ruffled her hair, messing up her pigtails in the process. Yamato,Van,Kira and Eiichi went to the deeper parts to swim.

She faced Eiji. "You're not going?"

"No,that's too deep for me."

That makes sense.Those four are too tall.

*SPLASH

Eiji panicked when he found the girl next to him completely drenched. "R-Rin-chan."

She slowly turned around to look at the culprit.

"Hahaha.Take that!" Nagi smirked.

"Is that a challenge?" She smirked back."If so then I glady accept."

She splashed the ocean water hard at Nagi,making the boy wet.

"Rinna!"

"Take that again!" She hit the water again.

However,Nagi was quick to move out of the way this time.It resulted in poor Shion getting wet.

"Shion,help!"

"Oops.Sorry Shi-"

"If Nagi asks for help,Amakusa will help him. Please forgive me,Rin."

After recovering the splash from Shion, Catarina got this mischievous glint in her eyes. She snapped towards Eiji, "Let's win this fight!"

"E-Eh? M-me too?Bu-"

"Yes!I got Eiji too!"Nagi cheered.

"You change your mind?" She smirked at him.

"I guess." He targeted Nagi and Shion and made them drenched in water.

A splashing duel broke out among them.

Meanwhile the elder group watched them.

"What are they doing splashing water like kids?" Yamato muttered.

"They seem like they're having fun!Hey,I know!Let's do that ourselves!" The eldest proposed only to get ignored by Yamato and Kira.

"Kira,let's try swimming till that point." Kira nodded and followed behind the blonde.

"Dont ignore me like that!" Van cried. Eiichi just patted his shoulder before heading off behind the previous pair.

Somehow Nagi had water guns and all of them had a shooting battle till their salvation.

After a round of tiresome but fun battles, Shion went to rest under an umbrella. Kira followed his suit.

Nagi and Eiji decided to make sand castles. With the support of a life boat, Catarina floated in the cool water and watched them.

"You're still here?" Yamato came from behind her.

"Oh Yamato! Yes,The water is a really nice place to stay compared to those volcanos in the guise of sands."

Yamato rolled his eyes at her dramatic reply. He shrugged and went to the land.

"Na-chan, you might catch a cold if you stay in the water for too long."

"That's better than getting burned."

Eiichi joined the conversation. "Let me show you something. You will like it."

".......fine." After some seconds of hesitation, she agreed and walked to the seaside with the two brunettes.

Eiichi took hold of her hand when he noticed the girl moving away from the sand. He couldn't blame her. Growing up surrounded by ice and blizzard made her sensitive to warm temperature.

"Follow me." She hesitantly nodded. He led her on the wet sand.

...Walking on the sand is kinda fun. Catarina looked behind at their footsteps getting washed by the waves.

"Walking here gives you a pleasure doesn't it?" He tilted his head to look at her.

"It does..."

"Also,here."

A seashell?

"Try putting it to your ear. You can hear the ocean."

"The ocean...?" She mumbled as she put it to her ear.

This sound. . . A warm breeze started passing.

"It's tender."She smiled softly.Seeing her smile, a smile also took place in his lips.

After some time, having divided into two groups, the eight of them played beach ball. One group consisted of Yamato, Shion, Eiji and Catarina. While the other of Eiichi, Kira,Nagi and Van. The former team won because of the presence of the most athletic among them.

In the evening, they set up barbeque on the beach. Everyone were dressed in comfortable clothing after enjoying the day. The sunset was a magnificent view.

Kira, Van and Eiichi were doing the grilling while Yamato set the tables; getting help from Eiji and Catarina.The others were young to get too close to fire, as said by Kira.

Their dinner time was lively and fun too.

"Its so tasty! The meat is so chewy an juicy!"

"Its my speciality,Na-chan."Van winked at her.

"Yamato, pass me the sauce."

"Here you go." The blonde passed the bottle to his leader.

"Nagi, eat your vegetables and Shion, don't leave anything."

"Yikes!Kiras in full mother mode."

"Amakusa feels tired"

"Nagi,Kira's right. You should eat your vegetables along with your fish and meat."

"Mou,Eiji!" The youngest pouted.

"I have been thinking for a while that we should release a new song." The moment Eiichi said those words, Catarina's eyes started sparkling.He also gained a chorus of yes.

At long last!!

"It's been a while since we released our last song,"said Eiji. "So why don't we add something special to it?"

"Yes.I was thinking about that too," The elder Otori said.

"How about adding cute miniature drawings of us?"Nagi posed.

"No.I don't think that's actually 'special'.And it won't suit all of us." Eiji tried to reject his idea nicely with a sweatdrop.

"Then how 'bout adding special messages from us?" Van suggested.

"Not bad.You can also give your signs!"Catarina offered.

"Why don't we wear something cooler?"

"Oo. Nice idea Yamato-chan."

"Good.Everything is coming together."

"But...what about the song?"Kira asked.

"Right. Did you think of any concept,Eiichi" The female asked.

"Yes. Something with an impact that will make people tremble."

"What a clear concept.Thank you." She sarcastically remarked. The rest sweatdropped.

"Nii-san is talking about making a song with an impact...I think."

"Yeah,I can guess that much.But what will leave this 'impact'? "She replied.

"A different genre?" Kira questioned a few seconds later. Everyone looked at the raven.

Nice!

"Good idea!"Eiichi smirked.

"If we think of something that matches your cool image then..." Catarina trailed off as she began thinking with them.

Something cool,impactful and soul-shaking...

"Hey,how about ....rock?" She suggested the first genre that popped inside her mind. The seven members of HEAVENS stared at her.

The first one to reach was none other than their leader. "Good! This is definitely good! We should start right away!"

"Nii-san, calm down. Please don't forget we are supposed to be on a vacation. Don't make Rin-chan exhaust herself now."

"Oh sorry,I forgot." He calmed down.

For quite some time they talked about the concept of the song.

"Oh,back to the 'special' topic." Nagi reminded. "Rinna, what would you want from us?"

"I see.It is a good idea to think from the angel's perspective." Shion pointed out.

"Me?Let's see..." Catarina rubbed her chin while the others waited for her answer.

"As a faithful angel,I would be happy enough to just listen to your new song.But...maybe I would like to know about you guys better." The blonde tried to express her thoughts. "Like...wanting to feel closer?"

"Feel closer?" Van became confused.

Shion scooted closer to the blonde female and hugged her. "Now we are closer."

"Shion,that's not what she meant." Nagi bugged the sleepy boy. The blue eyed woman laughed lightly.

All this time, Eiichi's glasses were reflecting the light. It became normal after he decided to speak.

"I have an idea for it. Let me think about it more before declaring it."

They were curious at what their leader thought of that made him look so excited. But knowing that he won't tell them at the moment, they shrugged.

After spending some bonding time, it was time to head back to their rooms in the resort.
