"You're not going to eat it?" Kira asked after watching Catarina not even touching the sweet bean cakes he bought. She shakes her head.

"That's a surprise. Normally you would've eaten one even before Kira took them out," Eiichi stated.

That's true.But...

"Eii-chan, you don't know?"

"Know what?"

"Rinna's on a diet!" Nagi exclaimed before taking another bite of his cake.

"Eh? Rin-chan, is that true?" The girl nodded.

"Why the sudden decision?"Eiichi questions as he takes a bite. Catarina didn't reply.

"It's because of Yamato!" Nagi replies.

"Oi! I didn't do anything."

"You did."

"No!"

"What happened exactly?" Eiji asks.

"You see..."Van starts.

Catarina was lazing on the couch while drinking her chocolate milk. She leaned on Van as he scrolled through social media. Nagi and Shion were watching tv.While Yamato was doing push ups...yet again.

After finishing her drink, she went to throw it in the trash. On her way to her previous spot, she glanced at Yamato.

"Hey,Yamato, why are you always doing push ups?"

"It's effective in building muscles."

"But you already have muscles."

"Shut up."

"...Want me to help you?"

"How?"

"You can train harder with me sitting on you while you do push ups. It'll be more effective that way."

" Like hell it'd be. You're just looking for another place to rest while eating snacks. Now,let me concentrate. "

Shrugging, she went back to her seat. She wasn't working on any song at the moment ,so she was going to laze around the whole day.

"Na-chan, wakey wakey. It's already lunch time."

Groaning, Catarina opened her eyes. She was still leaning on Van. Looking at the clock,she says,"I must've dozed off. Sorry, Van."

"It's alright, Na-chan." The brunette heads to make lunch.

"Hey,Catarina." Yamato calls her. He has a towel wrapped around his neck. So,he must've taken a bath after working out.

"Hmm?"

"I'll be blunt and honest,okay?"

"...okay?"

"....You'll become fat. With no exercise and the amount of chocolates you ate during Halloween, it wouldn't be a surprise if you became fat." Van, Nagi and Shion stops what they were doing after hearing Yamato.

"...Is that so?"

" 'Is that so?' You ain't bothered by it?"

"Not really.I could care less about how I look."

"Huh?!" The four males were taken aback by her nonchalance. For all they knew, females were sensitive about how they look. But then again, Catarina wasn't their usual female. After all,she abandoned her life as a noble to live an ordinary life. Most people would've chosen the luxurious life.

"What?" Her blue orbs show confusion at their behaviour.

"Mah, I guess it's fine if you aren't bothered by it." Yamato shrugged and went to his room. Catarina didn't think much about it and joined Nagi and Shion.

"If Catarina isn't bothered by it,then why did she start dieting?" Eiichi questions.

"I haven't finished the whole story yet!"

"You're taking too much time,"Yamato muttered.

"Continue on,Van ."The younger Otori nudged. The Otori brothers were curious as to what made their overly sweet toothed composer go on a diet.

The same evening, Catarina returned from the convenience store. After keeping the food she bought inside the fridge, she suddenly remembered her and Yamato's conversation.

Nah,maybe I got a little fat but surely not that much . With that thought, she found herself standing on the weight machine. What she saw was burned in her memories.

"So,that's why she's on diet."The brunette leader nodded in understanding.

"Like I said, how is it my fault that she's depriving herself from her precious sweets?"

"You brought that topic up," Shion answered. After listening to their conversation, the blonde female just sighed.

"Rin-chan, are you okay? You haven't spoken nor eaten anything."

" Talking just makes me more hungry."

"Angel,you shouldn't worry too much about this. Just be like yourself," said Eiichi.

Smiling wryly, she told,"No. I need to be more careful about my intake amount."

Knowing that they couldn't stop her, the males wished her luck.

Yamato watched the female complete another round of push ups in the gym.

"You okay?" He asked.

"Mhmm." Having a sip of her water, she gets on the treadmill and switches it on.

Yamato was now questioning himself whether telling her about her size was a good choice or not. Even though he said that it wasn't his fault in from of the others, he was secretly feeling guilty.

The young woman hadn't eaten a single sweet dish in three whole days , when a can't live without them for three minutes. Her normal intake has also reduced. If she keeps going like that, she will gradually become weak.

"How's the song coming?" Yamato asks.

That...

Catarina pauses the treadmill and meets his eyes. He could clearly her conflicted look.

"Sorry,I still haven't come up with your song. It...it just isn't coming to me."

"No problem. There's no rush."

"There is! Don't forget we have to release HEAVENS' album before the decisive concert."

"Oh yeah....I forgot. Still, don't worry. I'll start writing the lyrics first." With that, the two of them continues their gym activities.

Catarina was lying on the couch. The only other person in the room was Kira,playing the piano.

Why isn't it coming to me?!No matter how hard I think,it's not popping up! She mentally groaned. She hit her head with the empty music sheets.

Why?!Just come into my mind,damn it!
Frustrated with herself, Catarina glares at the ceiling.

Suddenly Kira's phone goes off. The girl looks at him. He answers the phone but doesn't talk though.

After a few seconds,the raven finally speaks,"What?"

Again,after a few moments,he asks, "Your home?" Not too later, the call ends.

"Something happened?"Catarina asks.

"Tomorrow's practice...is cancelled."

HEAVENS don't have practice tomorrow.So,it's about his duet project.

"Why?"

"Hijirikawa-san can't come.He...has to return to Kyoto."

"Kyoto?"

"...His home."

"He must have his reason to cancel it."

"Hmm."

"Rin-chan?" No response.

Eiji sighed. He had called his friend few times but she found the piano more interesting than the brunette.

This time,Eiji shook her by the shoulders,"Rin-chan!"

"Woah!Holy,Eiji!"She looks up at him.

"I called you earlier but you didn't respond."

"Huh?"

"You were glaring at the piano all this time. Are you okay?" Worry crossed his angelic face.

She looked back to the half filled music sheets kept on top of the piano.
She nods in response.

"Let's head back,Rin-chan. It's dinner time."

"...alright."

More than a week has passed since she started dieting. For the sake of completing Yamato's song, Catarina tried everything she could; even as far as locking herself in the closet to get ideas.None of her techniques worked, resulting in her sitting on the armchair while hugging her knees.

What's wrong with me?!Yamato completed the lyrics ,yet I still can't finish the song!Why!?

HEAVENS, excluding Kira, were watching their composer. They wanted to help her but they didn't know what they should do. Also, Kira was in Kyoto. He had sent them the short version of his song,'Lasting Oneness'. None of them had any idea what to do. Until, one of them took the initiative.

"Catarina."

"Wha-Mph!!"

!!!Eiichi!!!

The sweet taste filled her mouth, relaxing her nerves. Eiichi cut another piece of the strawberry tart and held it for her.

"Is it good?" He asked. She slowly nodded.

"Here." Catarina unconsciously took another bite.

Delicious!!! A small smile formed on her lips.

"You don't have to hold yourself back on sweets. It isn't like you. Moreover, you haven't been eating properly." Catarina took another bite.

"Your diet has made you weak. Don't force yourself to stop eating what you like."Eiichi gave her the last piece.

"Rin-chan, don't be bothered by it. Even if you want to continue your diet, you should at least eat your meals properly. You can never work on an empty stomach,right?" Eiji smiles.

...I see.

"Rin, do you want another piece?" Shion asked.

"Take it.You know,it's scary when you ignore sweet things,"Yamato commented.

"Is it?" She takes the plate and starts eating the tart. The smile on her face never fades.

"Good.You look best with a smile." Eiichi pats her head. She looks up to see everyone smiling at her.

"Wh-what? Don't stare. I'm not gonna share my tart!"

The reason why I couldn't work on the song was because I was too focused in reducing my body weight. Resulting in me not getting proper nutrients.

"No one's gonna eat your already eaten tart,"Nagi grunted.

Like Eiichi said, I don't have to push muself too much. The world's nit gonna end even if i gain a little weight...I just need to keep it at a limit.

Finishing seconds,she said,"Sorry for troubling you guys."

"It's no problem,Na-chan. We're here for each other."

"From now on, I'm gonna eat LOTS of sweets;I mean under a limit, and work hard on anything,"she said with determination.

!!!

"Aaaa!" Catarina's sudden outburst startles them.

Catarina leaped from her seat."I just found the song I was looking for! See ya later!" With a salute,she dashed off, not giving anyone any time to react. All they could do was sweatdrop at her action.

By pulling an all-nighter, Catarina finally made Yamato's solo 'Over the Top'.
