Despite the upcoming war soon to come, we all started out happy today.

Me and Aaron were dates to the formal.

Morgan finally told us this mystery boy, and suprise suprise, it was Stiles.

Lucinda and Laurance were going together.

Kawaii~Chan and Ross were going together.

Tania and Gene, obviously.

Garroth and Marina...

Cadenza was going alone.

Max and Katelyn were going together.

Finn and Oscar were going together as bro and sis.

Lizzie and Trashvis were going together.

And suprisingly... Jin and Marlene... She had the guts to ask him.

Us girls got ready at my house, Levin and Malachi playing with the fabric of the girl's dresses, now crawling. Levin tried touching Lucinda's hot curling iron, but me being an AWESOME mom, I took it away.

"Lucy, watch where you put your stuff, please?" I sigh.

"Sorry Aph! I didn't know!" Lucinda apologized.

We all started to get ready, and Grace (believe it or not) found a way to "chaperone" the kids during the dance.

Sooner or later, we all were ready for the Formal, with all of us looking our best.

The boys were half bad themselves. Aaron had a white suit with a red bow tie. Stiles, Morgan's date, wore a grey suit with an orange tie.

"You don't look half bad..." Katelyn tells Max.

"You look really pretty..." He murmurs.

"Aw shucks... Thanks!" Katelyn beamed.

"Aphmau, if this war is going to start today, where are Levin and Malachi going to be?" Grace asked.

"Crap. I don't know..." I gasped in shock.

"Wait! I have an idea!" Aaron says. "I just need to be alone for this..."

"Do whatever you can please... I don't want them in the crossfire..." I plead.

Aaron nods and picks up both boys. He walks to their bedroom, and shuts the door. A bright light comes from there, as Aaron walks out, the boys gone. Before I can open my mouth, he cuts in.

"I sent them to Irene. She will take care of them for now." He clarified.

We got inside the limo, and cleared uo everything with Stiles. Since he was a regular human...

"Stiles... Whatever you hear, any crash or boom, I want you to get out of there." Morgan says, grasping his hand tight.

"And leave you to fight? What kind of person will I be?" He counters.

"One who has common sense! I am a child of Irene, I promise I can hold my own." She assures him, leaning into his shoulder, nuzzling her head into him. He accepts it, and sighs.

"Fine Mor... I'll never forgive you if you don't come out of there though..."

"I promise I will..."

"AHEM." Grace coughs. The two realized that they weren't alone and quickly blushed. Morgan takes her head off of him, but keeps her hand clapsed into his.

We arrived at Pheonix Drop High, bright and colorful. I just hoped it would stay that way...

We walked inside, on high alert. We looked at everyone, but no one would pass by as Shad. He wasn't here yet. Good.

"Can I get a dance in?" Aaron asks.

"If we're about to fight a war, I want a happy moment." I smile lazily.

Aaron extends his arm as we go to the dance floor, dancing to an upbeat song. We dance for a while, until my feet start to hurt because of my heels. I excused myself and went to our table and switched shoes.

"U-uh... Excuse me?" A small voice squeaks out.

I look up to see a red haired and green eyed teenager looking at me.

"One of our singers bailed out on us... And um... I was just wondering... Can you be tonight's entertainment?" She asked.

"U-uh... Sure! Just give me a guitar and I'm good to go..." I breathe out, not sensing a dark aura around her.

"Okay! Follow me!"

"Hey, Grace, wheres Aph?" Aaron asks Grace.

"Last I saw, she walked off with a red head," Grace says, drinking a cup of punch all in one gulp.

"ANNNNNDDD NOW! FOR OUR NEXT PERFORMANCE, SINGER WYOMING-" The person gets cut off by a red haired girl running on stage and whispering something incoherent in his ear. "Oopsie! We got a mixup! OURRRRR NEXT SINGER IS JESSICA APHMAU SHADOWWWWWWWW!"

A bunch of claps were heard as Aaron finally feels a shiver down his spin. He looks at Grace and sees that her skin has paled as well.

"He's here," Aaron said.

"Find him. Tell the others." Grace changes her tone, more alert than when she walked in.

"What about Aphmau?" Aaron asked.

"She can hold her own, I'm sure she felt it too! Come on." Grace commands. Aaron looks among the crowd for his friends or Shad.

I didn't feel that aura. All I felt was the butterflies in my stomach, guitar in hand. I walked to a stool on the stage, a microphone set right there. I sat down and started to sing.

Everyone claps as I bow. Right when I get off the stage, a big bang is heard everywhere. I then felt that dark aura. Everyone started to run out the doors, as we stayed. My knees went weak, my blood cold, face pale, as my father teleported into the room.

"That was beautiful my daughter. Now, which one of this boys is Irene's child."
