Author's POV

After trying on at least over a hundred outfits, Kidd finally settled on only half of them (although tons of em were sexy af tho).

Law was to say, very pleased with his choices, Kidd didn't buy a single shirt since he tore through them so fast when he was still alive, not to mention almost none of them could barely even fit..

The dirty pervert. XD

So now our two little gay muffins are parading down the fluffy street of rainbows and happiness (coz they living on a mother fucking cloud!) towards the nearest job select station, which made Kidd very excited.

Upon their arrival, many angels with their selected protecties (which I wanna call dem) quickly left the area at the alarming sight of the two of them.

Only a very small handful of either very brave or stupid guardian angels (dos poor souls :3) remained unbashed by the presence of the infamous gangster.

"Oh, well if it isn't Eustass Kidd" recognizing the voice the redhead sighed in irritation and greatly slumped in his posture.

Kidd didn't really have anything against the former cop turned mafia boss, but he was sure hell annoying being so serious all the time! (Same Kidd, I feel ya)

Normal POV

"Oh? Drake, nice to see ya too, but I'm pretty sure you were wiped out a while ago, having trouble finding a job or just can't stick to one?"

The orange haired man just sharply stared at him with a solumn look until another person shoved between them and butted into the conversation with an annoying yell.

"OI!! KIDD!! I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR YOU TO GET HERE!!"

A smaller woman stomped up to Kidd with a grumpy scowl, if Kidd remembered correctly her name was...Conney or something of that manner.

"Uh, you're Conney right?"

The woman's mouth went agape as she balled her hands into shaken fists with her face as red as a cherry, "IT'S BONNEY YOU BASTARD!!!" She shrieked.

Kidd rolled his eyes, now this was someone who was annoying as fuck, she just couldn't shut her trap, not to mention the little..history..between them, although Kidd could almost bearly remember anything except there being a lot of awkward stuff.

"Okay, okay, what do ya want?" She blinked as if she just forgot something important, standing there like an idiot.

"Uhhhh, actually..." she slouched in her stance and hunched over with a thoughtful expression, don't tell him the bitch forgot? Kidd sighed hearing Law groan in the backround knowing he was annoyed as well, Bonney just had that effect on other people, and it seemed even angels as well.

That was until Kidd noticed the pair of..cotton candy!? Wings on the small of her back, did he feel amused enough to actually pay some real attention to her .

Bursting into a laughing fit at the sight, Kidd almost toppled over which greatly startled the female as the redhead continued to howl with amusement.

"HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! Y-YOUR W-WINGS!! ARE M-MADE OF CANDY!?!?! BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!! O-OH THAT'S RICH!!!!"

Kidd continued to uncontrollably laugh until Drake got in between them and got into the serial killer's face, well this was a new side Kidd never got to see, he actually looked a bit miffed.

"Leave my guardian angel alone Eustass"

The redhead blinked and suppressed a snort in the moment trying to act 'serious', "she's your angel?, in fact, who the hell made her a guardian?"

Bonney looked down in embarrassment with her cheeks dusted red at the comment as Drake continued to defend her with a glare that challenged the killer's very soul.

"Well she's a great guardian, I bet better than your's could ever be" he boldly snorted.

Bonney's face became ghostly pale with a mortified expression as she looked to the tanned angel, and unfortunately for her Law accidentally listened in onto that part of the conversation.

"What was that?" Law growled.

Feeling disgraced and dishonored, Law jumped into the heat of the fire by getting into the mafia boss's face and jabbed his finger into Drake's chest.

"Drake-ya, I'll have you know I've had to keep this blockhead from kicking the bucket ever since his freaking childhood, Jewelry-ya may be a naturally gifted guardian with some promise, but if you honestly think-"

Before it got too ugly, Bonney struggled to cut in between them and eventually separated the two before respectfully bowing down to Law in apology.

"Law, I'm so sorry for my lost soul's disgraceful behavior..we'll be leaving now"

Before the other could even argue she dragged the other away and softly started to bicker with him in an irritated tone, but before they got too far away Law shouted out, "I apologize for mine as well Jewelry-ya!"

As they walked out of their sight, the guardian angel huffed and glared at the slightly nervous redhead, "what the hell was that!?" He hissed out with a deep scowl.

"I dunno!" Kidd made his best 'I'm-the-innocent-one' face and Law reluctantly let it slide against his better judgement.

"Well that was quite the show you two put on" the duo both turned to face the newcomer, and of course it was another familiar face, this time a bit more welcome than the other two.

Urouge.

"Well Urouge-ya, isn't this a somewhat pleasant surprise, at least you're not the worst to have appeared" the raven sighed, seemingly he didn't like any of the other supernovas.

Law imagined running into Luffy and scowled as the so called monk laughed out in merriment and widely grinned.

"I'll take that as a complement Trafalgar, well I better head back to bestowing blessings to the mortals, good luck with finding a job for that troublemaker of yours"

Urouge turned around revealing his tiny white wings making Kidd suddenly snort on impulse, but just before it could get bad or noticeable, Law tightly clamped his hands onto the serial killer's mouth with suprised wide eyes until the taller man was out of sight.

"Kidd-ya you must have a death wish or something" the younger only chuckled and slung an arm around the angel's shoulders with his arm right above the other's wings.

"I still don't see what the whole big deal is.." Law sighed at his answer and gently cradled his aching head, what a headache this guy was.

"Insulting an angel's wings is exactly like disrespecting their entire life on earth, wings are like a reflection of our once living souls and how we spent them"

Kidd blinked at the new information and looked closely at Law's wings now that he had a good chance.

They were a bit darker than his hair (like Corazon's feathery coat), long, straight and super thin like raven feathers although they still seemed softer to touch, but if you looked closely you could see etches of thin swirls in the wings that shimmered gold and silver...some were even diamond!

Kidd thought they were the most beautiful thing he's ever seen up here yet, just, wow.. just imagine those in the sunlight, or maybe even the moonlight..

"I won't care if you insult my wings, I don't mind what people think of my old life"

Kidd reluctantly nodded in silence, feeling irritated that someone would even think about insulting those beautiful wings and walked towards the building, forcefully dragging Law behind him, "well come on! Let's get me a job!!"
