A/N: BONUS CHAPTER... BONUS CHAPTER! o(* ̄▽ ̄*)o

...

Brahms was in disbelief when he went searching for Aurora's homemade bread later that night... Because no matter where he looked, he couldn't find it.

SHE ACTUALLY HID THE BREAD FROM ME! Brahms' inner voice hissed, half annoyed and half impressed about his nanny actually being about to predict what he'd do and outsmart him so well. I can't believe this....... I want some of that bread!

Brahms continued to search the kitchen, desperately but quietly, all the while getting more and more worked up. This isn't fair! It's not-

A flash of light through the windows made the man freeze as he glanced up, his dark eyes immediately spotting a foreign car heading down the driveway...

Who is that? Brahms wondered, his brows knitting themselves together as he observed the strange vehicle continuing to creep towards his home. Turn around... Turn around... The man chanted internally, hoping that this stranger wasn't anyone who was here to cause trouble...

Instead of pulling up to the front of the house however, the foreign car stayed parked back near one of the gardens, partially obscured by a few large bushes. An uneasy feeling washed over the masked man watching, making him slightly nervous as he retreated back into the walls.

Brahms hurried upstairs towards the attic, moving silently as ever before stopping at the window overlooking the front of the Heelshire property. As expected he could still see the car, barely peeking out from behind the foliage, but couldn't quite make out who was inside...

He did know one thing though. Whoever was lurking in the shadows most likely wasn't here for just a friendly visit...

...

The next day...

...

It was just another typical day as Aurora made her way into the kitchen, humming a peaceful tune as she went about her work. She set Brahms on the counter gently, grinning at the porcelain face she'd come to know so well over the past few weeks...

"How's veggie stir fry sound Brahmsy?" Aurora questioned, tilting her head to the side as she waited for any kind of reply.

"..."

"Well I think you're really going to like it!" The dark haired woman chirped, smiling at the doll before turning around to gather what she needed...

As Aurora prepared lunch she couldn't help but wonder about Mr. and Mrs. Heelshire and how they were doing, truly hoping that they were alright since she had no way of contacting either of them directly. I hope they're enjoying their vacation... She thought to herself, grabbing a few different vegetables from the refrigerator before beginning to chop them up. I wonder when they'll be back-

Aurora froze, her inner dialogue cut off as she heard an unfamiliar sound. The woman listened carefully, not panicking just yet as she knew she wasn't the only one with access to the mansion...

"Malcolm...?"

"..."

"Malcolm?" Aurora called out, hearing nothing in return yet again as she picked up Brahms before making her way down the hall. "I didn't think you were coming until la-"

The moment she turned the corner and stepped into the billiard room's doorway, the words Aurora had been speaking died on her lips. Her eyes widened in a combination of shock and terror causing the woman to hold the doll in her arms closer, already trying to protect him subconsciously while she stared down her ex.

"C-Cole..."

The massive man staring back remained silent, placing the pool cue he'd been holding down before speaking.

"Who's Malcolm?" He questioned, his unsettling gaze never leaving Aurora as she begin to panic.

"He... He brings our groceries..." She explained, cursing internally while realizing that the next time he was due for a delivery wasn't until another few days. What I wouldn't give for him to come bother me now... Aurora's inner voice grumbled, hugging Brahms closer as she tried to make a plan. What am I going to do...?!

"I was gonna write you a letter but... You know me. Never been one for writing..." Cole stated, interrupting Aurora's thoughts as he took a few steps forward, finally eyeing up what she'd been holding this entire time. "Is this the little fella?"

The woman in front of him took a step back, remaining quiet as she watched Cole frown in response.

"What's his name?" He pressed, walking closer as she placed a hand on Brahms' back, attempting to hide the doll's face in her dark locks.

"His name is Brahms..." Aurora answered quietly, trying again to move away as Cole followed.

A firm hand against the door frame stopped her as Cole glanced over her tiny form, finally realizing that what she was holding was a doll and not an actual kid. The look that followed was a mixture of shock and confusion, causing him to back away in disbelief for a moment as he chuckled.

"Um... This is a joke, right?" He asked, raising a dark brow as he watched Aurora holding the weird looking doll carefully, as if it were a real child. "Right...? Real boy's just gonna come runnin' out any second now..." Cole went on, hoping that was the case. He knew the woman was a little off the rails naturally because, well, women... But this... This was seeming downright insane...

Aurora's hold on Brahms never faltered as she looked back at Cole, not caring about his judgment of all people. After all, only herself and Malcolm knew about what was really going on here...

"There's no little boy..." Aurora explained, instantly becoming upset about that fact as the words left her mouth. "They... They pay me to look after a doll."

"You're serious?"

"..."

The look on Cole's face was almost priceless as he finally backed off a bit, laughing and shaking his head for a moment. "Well... That sure makes things a hell of a lot simpler." He commented, walking back to the pool table casually before resuming his game. "The whole way here I was tryin' to figure out how I was gonna convince you to come home and how we'd deal with the boy, but now this shit?" He let out another short laugh, lining up a shot and taking it as the balls clacked together angrily.

Aurora could only stand there and watch as he played, knowing it was absolutely useless to protest once Cole had made a decision. If he said she was going back with him... Then he meant it. No....... No... I don't want to go back....... I can't...

Her eyes began to water at the terrifying thought as she quickly shook her head, taking a deep breath before attempting to push that fear to the side for now. Instead Aurora racked her brain, trying her hardest to think of any plan or options that would help her...

And finally when she was all out of ideas, she prayed. Prayed that by some miracle, someone, somewhere, would find her and help her...
