"Did you hear that another angel got taken." My sister says as she sits down, drinking her coffee.

"Another one? Everyday there's a new case of either a missing angel or a dead one." I sit down next to her and lay my head on her shoulder. 

"It'll all work out, I'm sure." my  sister says. "Maybe you should start turning over, like I did."

I lift my head off her shoulder "Turning over? No, we're not having this conversation aga-" before I have anything else to say her husband walking through the door. 

"Hey Ellie" said her husband putting down his briefcase. She  gets up and kisses him. 

"How was work?" She asked him. They went back and forth asking about each others day. You might be wondering; "Turning over? What does that mean"

We angels (and demons) can decide to turn into a human or join the opposing team. When Eloise and I came to earth she fell in love with a man. Its frowned upon to marry someone out of your kind, but after living on earth may angels have done so, my sister included. She didn't have to but she turned into a human for her husband, Walker. She told him everything and he even tried to become a angel for. But its easier for an angel to become a human than a human to become a angel. He knows I'm still an angel. I used to think all the time that we would live near each other and work together. Neve would I have thought I would one day have to attend her funeral. 

Angels and demons are immoral. The wise (or older) angels can live as long as they want and decide when their ready to pass on. Angels turn into this type of dust that travels to earth and makes people do good things with it touches them. We usually don't start to look older until where 60,000 years old. 

"You know, you can always stay with us. You might be safer here." said Walker 

"Its not easy to defeat a literal demon. What are you gonna do if it comes in here and tries to kill me? "

"I haven't thought of that."

Of course he hasn't. He's a human. He doesn't know what we go through.

"Well if you ever need a place to stay you can always stop by." Said Eloise setting up up the dinning table. "Are you staying for dinner?"

"No thanks I should be going now." If I stay she might keep trying to convince me to turn over. I grab my bag and leave in my car. I picked up some food on the way home so I didn't have to cook tonight. 

Incoming call from: Ivy

"Accept call"

"Hey girl, you busy?"

"No just on my way home."

"You came back from work?"

"No today was my day off"
Since we angels live on earth in secret, its not safe to have a normal job since I would be traveling in and out of portals. So I work in as a digital artist at a small company. At least it pays well. 

"You should come out with the rest of us to the club. You NEVER leave your house." I could basically could hear her roll her eyes. 

"No I'm good. Maybe next time."

"You say that all the time."

"How about we invite the girls over for a sleep over at my place? Tomorrow? Since it'll be Friday and we won't have to get up early."

"Allrightt. I'll tell the rest of the girls. I have to go now but I'll see you tomorrow."

"Bye Ivy."

I park my car in my driveway and walk into my house. I take my shower and get ready for bed. I wrote a letter to myself to remember to go shopping tomorrow after work. Hopefully tomorrow will be more eventfully.
