You had a strange childhood. Your parents didn't like modern technology so you never had a T.V, radio or anything like that. If you were bored then you would read a book, play outside or draw. Music was something you rarely heard as a child so you didn't take much interest in it.

So when Professor Xavier found you with Ceribro, and took you to his school, which your parents where not happy about, you where slightly overwhelmed by the technology. You had gotten used to the television and similar things like that, you had briefly heard the radio but never stopped to listen. When your new found friends discovered that you don't know any singers or bands they all had minor heart attacks.

You where sat on the grass outside the school with Peter, Scott, Jean, Warren, Jubilee, Kurt and Ororo.

"You've never heard of the smiths?" Scott exclaimed, his eyebrows raised, a shocked face adorned his features.

"My parents are a little backwards." You stated, gingerly scratching the back of your neck and smiling sheepishly.

"No shit." Ororo laughed as the others chuckled, Warren sent you a kind smile and squeezed your hand gently.

You and Warren had been going out for quite sometime now, you had been at the battle with apocalypse, you had saved him from the aeroplane crash.

"Here, I've got my walkman with me, you can listen to some of my music." Peter grinned, taking his headphones from around his neck and putting them on your head. You cringed slightly, knowing Peter, he would turn up the volume of the music really loud.

He dug in his pockets and pulled out his walkman, then pressed a button on the side of it. Music started to play quite loudly into your ears, thankfully it wasn't to loud. It was strange for you to hear because you couldn't tell what the instruments where.

"It's cool. I like it." You said, although you had to speck up to hear yourself over the music. The others started laughing.

"What's funny?" You asked, confusion and curiosity where eating you alive as your friends where giggling. You raised your eyebrows and turned to Warren who was also laughing, his smile was the brightest thing in the world, what you wouldn't give to have Warren smile.

"You're shouting, love." He laughed as he pulled the headphones of you and kissed your cheek, causing Jean and Jubilee to 'awe' and Scott and Peter to make wrenching noises.

"Ah, sorry." You grinned, turning back to the others, "I liked it, but I don't really have anything to compare it to. But I would like to listen to more." You added, looking over at Peter.

"I'll be back in five minutes." He stated then sped off, only leaving behind a silver streak.

You shrugged and started to talk to the others about school work and the latest news that the school seemed to be buzzing with.

As the six of you were starting to head back inside for afternoon lessons when Peter appeared in front of the group with a box in his hands.

"What the hell is in that?" Jubilee asked, her eyebrow raised and her arms crossed over her chest.

"I svear to zee Lord, Peter, if zat's more stuff for pranks-" Kurt started, looking slightly terrified at the idea of Peter with pranks, but Peter shook his head.

"Nah, I just got a whole bunch of new prank stuff yesterday." He grinned wickedly at Kurt who gulped loudly and slightly hid behind Ororo, "In here is one of my record players and loads of records. You can borrow them and decide what kind of music you're into." Peter grinned, handing you the box.

"Wow. Thanks, Peter. You didn't have too-" You started but he interrupted as you all started to walk back up to the school.

"No problem. Besides, if it wasn't me who gave you music advice it would have been Jubilee and she has no taste. The only person other than me, who has a decent taste in music is pigeon man." Peter gestured towards Warren who glared at him, Peter grimaced the sped off.

"I'm sure you're taste in music is great." You turned to Warren, who grinned.

"Best there is." He winked and wrapped his arm around your waist, pulling you closer to his body.

The group of you went your separate ways to your dorms to get your things for the next lessons.

"I'll see you later, love." Warren grinned, pulling you closer to him, grazing his lips over yours before finally kissing you.

"Always the tease with you." You chuckled, pulling away and smiling at Warren, who's face was still close to yours.

"Only for you, my love." He grinned and kissed your forehead.

--

It was now around two in the morning and you were still awake. Sat in the middle of your bedroom floor, softly playing the music that Peter had lent to you. Records and bits of paper littered the floor. You had been listening to all of Peters records and writing down which ones you liked, putting them into categories of rock, metal, pop and so on.

You were so engrossed in the music that you didn't even hear your bedroom door open and someone walking towards you.

Someone had sat down behind you and wrapped their arms around your waist. Jumping slightly you noticed the beautiful wings that had slightly engulfed you. Warren rested his head on your shoulder, pulling your body into his so that his legs were out stretched next to yours.

"What on earth are you doing?" He asked, his voice gruff, he placed gentle kissed on your bare shoulders.

"Listening. I want to hear as much music as possible. What are you doing up this late?" You asked, tracing light shapes on his bicep as you leaned into him slightly.

"I couldn't sleep. Nightmares. What's your favourite so far?" He asked, kissing your cheek. A tired Warren was a clingy Warren, which you loved.

"Well, I really like, Queen, Nirvana, Nick Cave, Billy Idol and Pink Floyd." You smiled, swaying slightly to the music.

"There's hope for you yet." He chuckled as you nudged him slightly, nuzzling his face into your neck.

You stayed like that for a while until the song changed, the record player was now playing, 'Where the Wild Roses Grow' by Nick Cave.

Warren gently let go of you and stood up, offering you his hand. Smiling you took it. He pulled you up and into the centre of the room. Pulling you close he rested his hands on your waist while your hands went around his neck, playing with the hair at the nape of his neck.

You sighed in contempt, as Warren smiled at you, his eyes twinkling.

"I love you, so, so much." He whispered, resting his forehead on yours and closing his eyes.

"I love you more." You replied quietly, nuzzling his nose with yours. Warren laughed.

"Impossible."

He gently pushed his lips onto yours, you kissed him back instantly. He pulled away after a couple of seconds, smiling at you he placed another quick kiss on your lips then nuzzled his head into the crook of your neck, kissing it softly.

"Can we stay like this? Forever?" He mumbled as the two of you swayed to the music.

"I would give anything to stay here with you forever." You whispered, feeling Warren smiling against your neck.

And there you two stayed, for what seemed like hours. Gently moving to the music, Warrens wings wrapped around you both. Stood in the centre of chaos, tangled in each other and loving every second off it, and each other.
