josh and tyler were out and about, strolling down a field of flowers with linked hands. josh was wearing a green shirt with dinosaurs lingering all over it, overalls that only covered his thighs, white socks and green crocks.
tyler was dressed down simply. a plain white t-shirt, snug fitting mom jeans that were cuffed at his shins, and black vans.

"daddy?" josh tugged at tylers sleeve. he hummed in response. "can we a new binder? this one's getting a bit uncomfortable."

tyler looked down at the boy who was trying to adjust his chest binder to his liking. he smiled sadly at him. tyler could only imagine what josh went through physically and mentally with being transgender.

"do you want to get top surgery instead?" tyler suggested.

josh looked up into his eyes. he had never thought about top surgery. but now that he heard it, it seemed somewhat scary. but he thought it could maybe help him feel better about his body.

and so he nodded, with a bright smile on his face.

"okay, so i called the surgeon and they said they can do it, but it wont be until march," tyler said one he hung up the phone.

josh nodded, understanding what tyler had just said. even though it was an entire four months away, he could deal with it.

he sighed and walked over to where tyler was, wrapping his arms around tylers waist and snuggling into his back. tyler smiled, turning around and picking up his little lover. josh giggled as he did so, burying his face into the crook of tyler's neck.

they sat down on the couch in comfortable silence. tyler brushed away a piece of black hair away from josh's face.

"what're you thinking about daddy?"

"how perfect you truly are."
