once tyler got back home, josh asked him if he could to go to the party with debby. which tyler didn't really take to well.

"debby?" he had asked, annoyance in his voice. "you want to go to a party with her?"

josh just nodded. he didn't want to explain himself because he knew that tyler wouldn't let him anyways.

tyler just stood there, arms crossed, staring holes into josh. he didn't know why josh would want to be with her. of all people, her.

"no," he responded, turning around and going into the kitchen. "you can't go."

josh's lips were tugged slightly downward before a cough emitted from his mouth. he covered his mouth with his arm and continued to cough into it.

"are you sick?" tyler asked.

after josh was done coughing, he sniffled and said, "no."

tyler shook his head and went to different part of the kitchen, to where they kept the medicine. he took out some ibuprofen tablets and grabbed a water bottle from the fridge.

he handed both things to his boyfriend and told him to take it. josh did so and sipped on his water once he swallowed both tablets.

"youre not going to that party, joshua."

it kinda hurt josh that tyler used his full name. and that he walked away after saying it.
