dallon's black car pulled into the driveway. brendon rushed out of the car and rung the doorbell multiple times until tyler answered the door.

the smaller boy waved at the brunette before letting himself into the house.

the brown kanken backpack brendon had filled with toys and snacks bounced up and down as he ran up the stairs to josh's room. it was 10 in the morning, and he knew josh was still in bed, as he always is.

"hey brenny," josh smiled at him, sheets tucked under his chin.

brendon waved back and smiled, climbing onto the bed next to his best friend. he slipped his left arm out of the strap and did the same with the other arm. "i brought you something," he whispered as though someone else would hear him.

the raven haired boy took out a small beanie baby. it was a grey husky named nanook. josh gasped and made grabby hands so brendon would hand it to him.

meanwhile, tyler and dallon were downstairs, talking about the stress of their jobs. dallon worked at home as a teacher for online schooling. he did it at night, teaching college aged students.

"brenny! josh!" dallon called after he and tyler finished talking.

the boys' feet plopped down on the carpeted floor, giggles escaping their lips as they ran down the stairs hand in hand.

"daddy, daddy! look at what brendon ga.." josh looked around the room, but didn't see tyler. a frown came onto his lips as he said, "where's 'm ty, dally?"

"he went to get some stuff from the store," dallon replied, ruffling the boys bleached hair.

the three of them went to the couch and turned the tv on to which it was playing rugrats. brendon smiled and cuddled to dallon's side. josh was on the far end of the couch, his new, small stuffie in his lap.

an hour went by before tyler came back home with groceries and some candy for the little ones.

both brendon and josh said "thank you" to tyler before running back upstairs and into josh's room. where they spent the rest of the day playing with some stuffies.
