Third Person's POV

Yoshi was dragging Marcus to the main office with Io following behind them as Lalamon Yoshino's partner has both Agumon and Gatomon by the leach.

"Hey, Lalamon, right? is the leach necessary for Gatomon?" the pinkette ask the floating pink digimon but didn't answer.

"Commander as you ordered, I'd capture criminals Raptor-1 and Holy Beast-2 and his accomplice Marcus Damon, and my cousin Io" Yoshi informs which Io seems to dislike his older cousin's choice of words.

"He has a name, Yoshi" Io says referring to Agumon

Marcus walks up to the older man "Come on, you know Agumon and Gatomon didn't destroy the burger stand, so stop treating him like some sort of criminals" he protests.

Yoshino pushes Marcus away from her boss "that's not what this is about" she says.

"Tell that to Lalamon here" Io says pointing at his cousin's partner "and you called Agumon and Gatomon criminals when they really didn't do anything wrong," he added.

"There are other crimes, Io; if a Digimon breaks into the real world is a crime, and interacting with human is forbidden" Yoshino explains.

both cousins glare at each other "Are you kidding me!? You guys work side by side with Digimon!" Marcus states pointing at both Yoshino and Lalamon.

"If the police can have a speed limit to catch the criminal, the police officer is a criminal too, is he?" Lalamon says.

"Wow what a big mouth" Gatomon sassily comment.

Lalamon looks at Gatomon angrily which the two Digimon glare.

"Tell them what will happen to the two Digimon, commander Samson" a smaller white a purple Digimon says while hanging around the man's shoulder.

Both Agumon and Gatomon "All Digimon who break the real-world law will be returned to their Digi egg form, after that will be send back to the Digital world where they belong" the older man named Richard Sampson explains.

"A Digi-egg" Marcus repeats before looking back and sees a white pawn chess piece-like Digimon walking up to a platform with the Digi-egg in hand placing the egg on the platform.

Both Marcus and Io were looking at the scene curious

"Coordinates has entered and locked" a bob-cut blonde female says while typing on a computer.

"Transmission coolers are on" another female replies "Bionic Condenser functioning!"

"Digital harmonizer is a lining" the blonde then says "Security code recognized, initiate opening the Digi portal" 

A bright light of Digital Particles swirls above the Digiegg.

"5 seconds to transfer!" the ravenette female says "3... 2... 1..." She counted down, and it reaches the end.

"Begin transport!" Sampson command

"Initiating!" both women state at the same time.

The Digital particles surrounded the Digiegg; Marcus, Agumon, Io and Gatomon covered their eyes.

"W-What's that?!" Marcus questions.

"Something's happening!" Io adds.

The Digiegg turns to data and was sent back to the Digital World.

"Transport complete!" the blonde female informs while looking at the screen in front of her.

"It disappeared..." Marcus says as he, Agumon had their mouths agape.

Io and Gatomon are too shocked to even speak.

"We simply sent it back to the Digital World, where the Digimon live." Richard Sampson tells both Marcus and Io.

"Now is Raptor-1 and Feline-2's turn" Kudamon states before

 (Black)PawnChessmon grabs onto Agumon and (White)PawnChessmon grabs onto Gatomon Io interrupts them.

"wait, there has to be a better solution, I mean, Gatomon could go without needing to turn into a egg" Io protests.

Yoshi looks at her cousin with sadness "I wish that was as simple as told, Io, really" she tells her cousin.

"Boss, help me!" Agumon cries.

"What are you doing?!" Marcus questions before running towards the PawnChessmon, and tries to get them off his friends.

Io glares darkly at the white PawnChessmon who shiver and let's go of Gatomon.

Marcus runs towards where Kamemon is and kicks the tea pot into the air. and falls shattering it into pieces as he and Agumon run out of the Office as Yoshi and Lalamon run after them.

Sampson notice both Io and Gatomon still in the room "how come you're still here?" he asks.

Io and Gatomon look at each other and nod and look back at the older man "We'd already caused enough trouble; we don't want to add salt to the wound" Io explain.

"I just got sucked here by a human" Gatomon explains surprising everyone in the room including Io.

"Human?" Samson questions out of shock.

"Impossible" Kudamon state with disbelief

Gatomon looks at Kudamon "it may sound unreal, like you Kudamon, I'm a Holy Digimon, and we hardly lie" She explains.

Richard Sampson Looks at Gatomon "Do you have any Idea of what this human looks like?" he asks.

Gatomon shakes her head "His face was covered with a hood; I couldn't see what he looks like" she says which the commander nods.

"I see... I have a offer for you, what you say that you and Gatomon, join the Dats" Sampson says surprising the other members of the Dats.

Kudamon looks at his partner "Are you sure you want them to join us" he asks.

He nods "I can tell these two can do great things together" Richard explains before looking back at the white cat Digimon and the pinkette young male.

"If Io's okay, then I'm okay too" Gatomon says looking at the pink hair male.

"Don't get me wrong, I would love to help in any way possible, just now it's still a lot to take in I need to some time to clear up my mind before I officially join you" Io tells them.

Richard nods and looks at PawnChessmon "Release her" he commands as the PawnChessmon goes towards Gatomon taking the collar off her.

"You two can go home, and by the next day you'll meet someone to fill in about what we do, during, while I'll command your cousin to keep an eye on Marcus and Raptor-1" Sampson tells the pink hair boy

"Also" Io says before pulling out his white Digivice "Do you have any Idea what this is?" he asks.

Sampson and Kudamon were surprised seeing this "that's a Digivice" Kudamon tell the young male.

"Digivices can turn Digimon into data and store them into it, safety rule number one keep your Digimon stored" Sampson explains.

Io looks at the Digivice impressed "Cool, how do I do that?" he then asks.

"Point it a Feline-2 and press the button on the right" Megumi one of the girls explains to Io who nod at her.

Io then points the Digivice at Gatomon "Like this?" he asks before pressing the button as the Digivice flashes and Gatomon turns into Data and flies in the Digivice and you can see Gatomon on the screen "Gatomon, how you're feeling?" he asks his digimon friend.

Gatomon looks around "I wish you could see what I'm seeing Io, for a small device it sure is spacey on the inside" she explains.

Io looks rather impressed by this "and yet there are still things that I need to learn about this" he says to himself "now, how I can get you out?" he then asks.

-time skip-

As Io was placing his breakfast on the table, he hears a knock on the door probably that person Sampson told him he would meet he opens the door and sees a teen boy who apparently around the same age as him.

the person is a tall teenager with pale skin, straight light blond hair, and light blue eyes. His DATS uniform consists of a dark blue-and-white half-sleeve jacket with two yellow upside down triangle marks on the chest, a blue jumpsuit with a partially white-collar underneath, a light grey belt, and white and dark blue knee-high boots.

the two of them look at each other as silence surround them for a half-second before the blonde male breaks the silence.

"You must be Io Fujieda, Fujieda-san's cousin" he asks.

Io nods "that's me, and to prevent any future confusions, you can just call me Io, you know since with My cousin be your co-worker and all" he says.

"And you too" the male says "I'm Thomas H. Norstein, it's fine if you call me Thomas" he tells Io.

""I'll remember that" Io nods before noticing a box in the blonde's hands "I'm not usually nosey, but what's with that box?"

"it has your Dats uniform in it"

Io nods "alright, I guess I'll go change and head to Dats de una" he says.

Thomas tilts his head confusedly after hearing that last part, that's where Io also realizes once he sees the blonde expression "Oh sorry, I'm half-Puerto Rican, Puerto Rico is located in CenterAmerica although it's a United States Territory, but that's a story for another time" he says before leaving to try on the Uniform.

When Io changes his clothes to now a uniform that is similar to what Thomas' wearing same dark blue-and-white half-sleeve jacket with two yellow upside down triangle marks on the chest but he wears a white jump suit he wears the same light grey belt, along with his white thigh-high flat boots.

"Okay not bad, although a skin-tights' not my style but I can serve with this" he says to himself.

"you're ready Io?" Io looks back and sees his partner Salamon which is Gatomon's Rookie Level form.

"I'm ready when you are, Salamon" he response as Salamon nods, Io points the Digivice at Salamon as press the button on the right as Salamon turn into Data and it flies in the Digivice.

Io put his Digivice attach to the belt before walking out of the room in which Thomas standing in the living room was looking around and looks around Io grabs his toasts and looks at Thomas as he grabs the house keys.

"Dale, let's go" Io says.

Thomas nods and the two then walk out as the two were walking out of the building Thomas takes a glance at the pink hair boy he notices that Io's slight shorter than him but what surprises him mostly is that you can see clearly the shape of the pinkette's round plum that he calls ass, which his face turns a little red and walks a head of Io which the pinkette look at Thomas confused but shrugs it off

once they're out of the apartment building Io was gonna go and walk but Thomas stops him.

"Wait, come with me" Thomas says as he points at a limacine and opens door for the pinkette.

'Diablo!' Io think before shaking his head snapping himself back to reality before getting in the limo and he then sees a blue Digimon sitting across the pinkette which he waves at the Digimon who only nod in reply.

"Io I would like to meet my Digimon partner, Gaomon" Thomas introduces to his Digimon

"Sir!" Gaomon state.

Io smiles "well is nice to meet you Gaomon, meet Salamon" He says before pulling out his Digivice "Salamon realize!" he says as data comes out of the Digivice and Salamon appears sitting on Io's lap.

"Salamon!" she chants "is nice to meet you!" She says to the other two.

-little time skip-

Thomas and Io arrived at DATS after dealing with a uninvited guest, Io does feel a little disappointed since he let Tomas do all the work while Io stayed in the limo.

Salamon notices and nuzzles her head on Io's leg "don't worry, you will get your moment" she tells her human partner.

Io sighs before looking down at Salamon with a sad yet grateful smile "thanks Salamon" he says to the puppy Digimon.

"Hey who are you blondie" Marcus asks Thomas who simply ignore him and places the egg next to Yoshi.

"Thomas' back!" Both Miki and Megumi called, they went towards the blonde boy and went to question him like when he came back, etc. etc. like some fangirls. 

Io walks towards his cousin "how old you say they were again?" Io asks.

Yoshi rolls her eyes "eighteen, welcome to my part of the world" she responds "don't worry about them, they're not simps, they just admire Thomas' work" she then explains.

Io sweat drops "I wasn't worried about the age difference that much, but thanks for telling me that" he says.

Agumon, who was standing next to Marcus, saw a Gaomon "Hi, What's your name?" He asks Gaomon who like his Tamer he ignores Agumon and walks towards Thomas.

"Hey when someone talks to you, you listen!" Marcus yells

Io sighs and gets in between Marcus and Thomas preventing a tension to begin "let's take it easy, not worth it" Io tells Marcus who tsks and looks away not noticing that Thomas' staring at Io who then looks back at Thomas before giving him an apologetic smile.

"You too, Agumon" Salamon tells the orange Digimon who hang his head low.

'Oh...' Miki and Megumi look at the three boys before at each other and giggle quietly which it didn't go unnoticed by Yoshi.

'Here they go again' she thought before she and the girls notices Thomas walking pass Marcus, and towards where Richard and Kudamon are. "Commander Sampson, sir!" He greets, while saluting. "Thomas H. Norstein. As of today, I'd arrived from DATS Austria ready to report for duty" he says.

Sampson nods "Is good to have you here" he says before sitting down.

"I've looked through the written reports and it seems rather peculiar that there are a large number of Digimon detected in this country lately." Thomas says to the commander.

"His stern-looking profile is so wonderful!" Megumi said.

"It really is! whoever wins his heart will be the luckiest girl" Miki agrees.

"Or boy" Megumi adds.

Both girls look at each other before squealing making Yoshi cover her ears.

"Is the frequency not as high in EU?" the commander asks the blonde boy.

"No" Thomas replied. "It must be because it has a larger area." He said.

Marcus went behind Thomas while he clears his throat.

"Oh, let me introduce you." Richard says, he gestures to Marcus. "This is..." he tries to introduce Marcus but gets cut off.

Thomas glanced at Marcus, and back towards Richard Io sighs clearly knowing what's about to go down.

"Hey!" Marcus said, angered. "I don't care if you're called Tohma or Tonma... But around here, I'm your senpai!" Io hears Marcus stating "I've only been here for three days, but make sure to call me "Daimon-san"" Marcus tells Thomas.

"Well, this is gonna be one interesting year for me" Io says to himself

Richard sigh "Already blazing down the warpath? Thomas is actually both yours and Io's senior, Marcus." He tells him.

that caught Io off guard "Puñeta, really!?" he asks out of shock.

"That's right. Thomas was a part of the Japanese subdivision until six months ago." Yoshi tells Io, and Marcus. "He assisted us in keeping Digimon under control and developing the transportation equipment." She said. "When FU's headquarters strongly requested his assistance, he went abroad temporarily." Yoshi then adds.

"B-But no matter how you look at him, he's the same age as me and Io..." Marcus says looking back and forth.

"Eh! don't add me into this equation" Io tells Marcus.

"But Thomas is a genius who graduated at Stockholm University's Institute of Science at the age of thirteen! And at the top of his class!" Megumi explained.

"Genius!?" Marcus states out of shock 

"Think of a correct term for, "prodigy" Marcus" Io explains.

"What's more, the Norstein are one of the most prominent noble families in Austria." Miki adds "He's a prince, so to speak!" she says winking at the shorter boy.

Io looks at the two girls dumbfounded "thanks for making me feel dumber and more inferior than I already am here" he sarcastically says to the blonde "me cago en pinocho ese cabron que se cree un niño de verdad" he curses in Spanish which no one in the room but Yoshi understood what he just said.

"Somebody knows what he just said?" Marcus asks.

Yoshin shakes her head "trust me, you don't want to know" she says as everyone minus Salamon who's comforting Io looks at the older Fujieda "I know my cousin long enough to understand Puerto Rican Spanish" she explains.

"AS for Thomas' partner, Gaomon, his battle ability is unsurpassed among the Digimon in DATS." Kudamon says gaining the others' attention "They are truly the strongest pair of partners." He says explaining to the newbies.

"Un...surpass...?" Agumon asked, looking at Gaomon.

"Unlike some teens, Thomas has discipline" Sampson says "and be sure to get along with each other, as you are colleagues." Richard tells the three, but mainly towards Marcus and Thomas.

"I think it will be futile to do so, Captain Richard." Thomas said. "There is not a chance that this person could benefit DATS." He said, referring to Marcus.

"What'd you mean?!" Marcus questions.

Thomas takes a glance at Marcus and then back at the commander "you see, I recommend he'd be dismissed at once" he says.

Io for some reason starts to dislike the blonde's choice of words "Como Eh?" he mutters.

"Why don't you say that to my face!" Marcus demands "Look into a person's eyes when you're talking!" He says to Thomas.

"Very well, then." Thomas said, looking at Marcus. "You and your partner are not suited for DATS." He states before something shocking happens.

Io smack Thomas hard across the face which shocks everyone in the room including Sampson and Kudamon

"Io!" Yoshi says to her cousin standing up.

Gaomon's about to go and ai his partner only to be stopped by the puppy Digimon "I wouldn't try it, if I were you, buddy!" Salamon says before growing at Gaomon.

Marcus and Thomas were the most shocked out of everyone in the room "you guys, really can't behave, can you" they hear Io question before now Marcus gets slap in the face by the pinkette boy "Marcus just because he's around the same age as us, just by looking at him it's clear as day that he's taught and raised differently than normal fourteen-year-olds like us" he tells the brunette male before turning back at Thomas "and you, cut some slack on Marcus, he said it himself that he's been only here for three days and like me he's still learning the ropes of how things work here, not everyone is a talented as you, and stop treating him like a inferior, no matter how many degrees you have, at the end of the day you're still a teenager who tries to live up to everyone expectations, when you don't even know what you want, how I know that, you ask? I can tell a person with issues when I see one" Io says Marcus and Thomas stares at the pink hair boy but couldn't say anything because the two were too stunned to speak.

"Boss!/Sir!" Gaomon and Agumon call out on their partners who then snap back to reality.

Io bows to DATS commander "I'm sorry for the violence, I was only trying to ease off the unnecessary tension between them and preventing Marcus from blinding himself with rage because of what Thomas thought of him, in which they were out of hand if you ask me" Io says.

Sampson smirks "there's no apologies needed Io" he says.

"Huh?" Io, Marcus, and Thomas question.

they question before an alarm turns off while Miki and Megumi went on and check on the computers and sees what causes the alarm to turn off.

"Commander! There's a Digimon signal found in Area D-82 of the harbor district!" Megumi informs everyone in the room.

"Beginning Digimon analysis!" Miki said, typing on the keyboard. "Transferring to the monitor!" she then says as the monitor shows a Digimon.

"That looks like DemiMeramon" Richard says as Kudamon nods confirming of what his partner is seeing.

Megumi jumps back out of surprise "The Digimon signal is multiplying! And continuing to increase!" Megumi exclaims out of disbelief.

everyone looks shock.

"Their numbers are around... 36, 48, 62! Almost 100!" Miki exclaims.

"If even a small flame from DemiMeramon's body remains, it has the ability to develop and multiply in a short time." Kudamon said. "It should have been prevented from doing so earlier."

"DemiMeramon has an aggressive personality, but even so its offensive power is low." Salamon then says. "But that doesn't mean they're any easy to defeat, no less" she adds which Kudamon nods at the puppy Digimon's confirmation.

Marcus' eyes widened. 'This is my fault...' He thought to himself.

"it's there something in mind, Marcus?" Kudamon questions the brunette male.

Marcus, Io and Yoshi look at Kudamon.

"But to think that it could multiply this much within only a few hours..." Richard says.

"Sir, allow us to handle this!" Thomas suggests the commander.

Gaomon nod agreeing with the blonde human "We'll get it done" He adds.

Richard nodded "It's up to you, Thomas, Gaomon." Kudamon says for his partner.

"Wait!" Marcus said. "Those fireballs are ours to beat!" He stated.

"They're ours!" Agumon state.

"Are you 100% sure you can secure those Digimon?" Thomas question.

"You damn right I am!" Marcus replies. "We'll pull it off somehow using our spirits!" He states.

"Thomas, I wouldn't doubt him when you don't even see what he does on the field, who knows, maybe he would pull something out of the ordinary that you usually see" Io tells Tomas.

 "I will handle it." Thomas said. Him and Gaomon begin leaving.

"You think you can do it?! Against that many?" Marcus question.

"Yes." Thomas says, looking back at Marcus, before him and Gaomon leaves.

"Let's go, too!" Marcus says, looking at Agumon.

"Okay, Boss!" Agumon agrees, following Marcus towards the door.

"That is not necessary" Richard says in which Marcus and Agumon both turn towards the commander "This time, Thomas and Gaomon are best for the job" he then says.

"No way!" Marcus yells with disbelieve.

"Yeah! I'll go, too!" Agumon protests both fully turned towards Richard.

"That's an order." Richard said.

"You should watch how Thomas and Gaomon fight" Kudamon told them.

"Yoshi." Commander Sampson calls the female "You and Lalamon will go and support Thomas and Gaomon." He tells them.

"Understood!" Yoshi says, saluting before she leaves with Lalamon following her.

"Io" Richard calls, and Io looks at him. "You and Salamon will stay here and observe for now." He tells them.

-little time skip-

In the base. Marcus, Agumon, Io and Salamon saw Thomas easily defeating the group of DemiMeramon.

"It's as if he wasn't even gone for half a year." Richard says.

"That's our Thomas!" Miki says dreamingly.

"His clever, lightning-fast technique look great!" Megumi said.

Io silently gags out of disgust 'Yoshi told me that they're not simps, but...ew' he thinks out of disgust.

"Wow..." Agumon says, he realized what he said, and looks at Marcus, who is angry.

"Understand now?" Kudamon asks, looking at Marcus. "This is the difference in ability between you and Thomas." He says.

Marcus angrily runs out of base and Agumon follows him.

Io look at where Marcus run off and glares at Kudamon "You know Kudamon, for be a small Digimon you sure are a Bocón" he says Kudamon looks at the Pinkette confused "It's a Puerto Rican term for "Big Mouth"" he explains. 

Salamon nods "Even though their abilities are different. That doesn't mean they have different skills and weaknesses, right, Io?" She asks, looking at her partner.

Io nods at Salamon "that's right Salamon" he says before the two of them run out of the base.

"Aren't you going to stop him?" Kudamon asks, looking at Richard.

"Leave him alone" Richard says to Kudamon.

-time skip-

Marcus is seen running towards the exit, with Agumon, Io and Salamon behind him.

"Don't be upset, Boss, just because Thomas' better than you" Agumon tells Marcus 

"Says who!?" he questions before he trips and fall face first.

"Marcus!" Io calls the brunette, going towards Marcus, he was going to help him up, but Marcus brushes him off.

"Damn it..." Marcus said.

"Sorry about what I say about Thomas, you're better than him" Agumon tells the brunette teen male.

"No, I'm not" Marcus then says before ripping off the band aid that he had on his cheek when he was fighting one of the DemiMeramon earlier today "I'm just big headed and I let my pride and anger get the better of me like Io said" he says. "And it's myself that I'm mad at, not Thomas and Gaomon" he adds defeatedly "Damn it! What am I doing?" Marcus questions, he stood back up. "Really... what the hell am I doing?" He asks as he slowly walks off.

Agumon and Salamon were confused. But Io understands "Marcus..." Io mutters before he and the two Digimon follow the brunette outside of the building.

"Stupid Fire!" Marcus hears a familiar voice, and he sees the old man that give him his Digivice trying to cook a fire.

"It's you again" Marcus says as he runs up to the old man while Io and the Digimon follows behind him "What're you doing in a place like this?" Marcus asks.

"Just what it looks like, making a fire." the old man said. "I'm cooking a fish." he continues, moving the fish to the side of the cooking grid. "It's hard lightning up a fire..." he said, fanning the fire. "The sparks go out easily whenever the wind gets even a little too strong." He explains.

"Well obviously" Marcus says before Io lightly karate-chopped Marcus' head.

"Marcus, respect your elders" he says to the brunette.

"But... once I get a larger flame going, it burns stronger no matter how much the wind blows." the old man named Homer says, he fans the coal, and a larger fire appears "Fire is an interesting thing, isn't it?" He asks.

Marcus was staring at the fire "This is..." He said.

Both Marcus' and Io's communicator beeps.

"Thomas! Digimon signals in Area B-42!" Richard informs from the communicators.

"What?!" Thomas questions from the communicator.

"Aren't there gas tanks over there?!" Yoshi also asks.

Marcus, Agumon, Io and Salamon looks at each other.

but before Marcus could say anything Io stops him "I think is best not to tell them" he suggests.

Marcus looks at Io confused "what make you say that?" he asks the pinkette male.

"come on, Marcus it's clear as day they all believe we can't pull this off because we're "over-hyped rookies" let's show them wrong, and them...que me mamen el bicho" he says before running off making the old man laugh.

"I have no Idea what that means but I feel motivated somehow" he says before running off with Io while Salamon and Agumon follow behind their partners.

"Typical Puerto Ricans" he mutters before taking a bite of his fish.

"You're disobeying orders" Io and Marcus hears Sampson telling them.

"Well, your order sucks like your sex life, over and out virgin" he says before hanging off the communicator.

Marcus laughs hard "I can't believe you just said that" he says between laughs.

"I can't believe I just said that" Io repeats but out of shock but shakes his head "no time to be shocked or for laughs we have a fire ball to catch!" Io then says determine before looking back at Marcus and the other "you with me?" which Marcus and the others nods.

"I'm with you all the way, Io" Salamon yells running next to her partner.

"Yeah!" Agumon agrees.

"now that's what I call a order" Marcus state. 

hearing Marcus' words make Io's cheeks turn a little pink while looking ahead which lucky for him the brunette didn't notice him.

they keep running until they arrive to the area where they see the DemiMeramon

"Agumon! Use your Pepper Breath!" Marcus tells Agumon.

Agumon, Salamon and Io looks at Marcus with shock.

"Marcus, what are you planning to do?!" Io asks.

"Don't be stupid, if you use it near the gas tank it might explode!" Salamon says to Marcus.

"My attacks don't work on them!" Agumon adds.

"You heard me, do it!" Marcus tells Agumon.

"Okay..." Agumon hesitantly says. "Pepper Breath!" He shouts and attacks at one of the DemiMeramon.

"More!" Marcus say.

Agumon keeps on attacking the DemiMeramon, which they fused together and digivolved.

"DemiMeramon Shinka...Meramon!"

"It evolved! What now?!" Agumon asks Marcus.

"Why did you have it evolve?" Salamon questions.

"That's right..." Io said, remembering how Marcus can obtain his Digisoul  "So that was your plan, all along..." He says looking at Marcus.

"This is perfect!" Marcus says as Agumon looks at him. "Come on. Do your worst!" He tells Meramon.

"Uh... Boss" Agumon says unsure with what his partner's planning.

"Fire sparks easily go out whenever the wind blows on them." Marcus said, repeating what Homer the old man told them. He jumps towards Meramon. "But... Once they burst into flame...!" He shouted, and punched Meramon, gaining his Digisoul.

"Boss!" Agumon calls

"You have to fight fire with Fire!" Marcus says.

"Fire is very dangerous and should not be played with..." Io said. "And... it's especially dangerous being close to a gas tank! That's why... I won't let you do any harm to the human world!" He shouted, gaining his Digisoul.

"Io!" Salamon calls as Yoshi and Thomas arrived.

Marcus' fist engulfs in an Orange-colored Digisoul, he puts it into his Digivice allowing Agumon to Evolve. "Digisoul Charge!" With the power of the Digisoul it allowed Agumon to Digivolve into GeoGreymon.

"Agumon! Shinka...GeoGreymon!"

Io's hand engulfs in a White-colored Digisoul, he puts it into his Digivice allowing Salamon to Digivolve. "Digisoul Charge!" With the power of the Digisoul it allowed Salamon to evolve into Gatomon.

"Salamon Shinka... Gatomon!"

"Marcus got Meramon to Digivolve on purpose so he can activate his Digisoul..." Thomas says, noting what Marcus did.

GeoGreymon roars a Gatomon stands on GeoGreymon's shoulder.

"Go!" Marcus shouts.

"Go for it, you two!" Io shouts.

"Mega Burst!" GeoGreymon shouted.

"Cat Laser!" Gatomon shouts before she emits a beam of light from her eyes.

Both Digimon attacks the Meramon, turning him back to three Digieggs.

"Yeah!" Marcus cheer.

"We did it!" Io cheer.

"All thanks to you, Io" Marcus then says before he and Io high-five.

-Meanwhile at the base-

"Overpowering Meramon's flames..." Kudamon said. "What power..." He said.

"All of the Digimon signals are gone!" Miki informs.

"Marcus and Io prove that they can do it" Megumi says impressed.

Richard didn't say anything only crossing his arms in response and smirks again "it's been a while since someone talks to me like that" he mutters referring to Io before chuckling silently.

-with the others-

Agumon, Gaomon and Gatomon were seen holding a Digiegg each.

Marcus opens the trunk. "How's that?" He asked. "I was able to take out the DemiMeramon, too!" He say, giving a thumb up. 

Io, Yoshi and Thomas were also holding Digieggs.

"Don't let this go to your head." Thomas told Marcus, looking away. "You were just lucky this time. Besides, you're not the only one who helped." He said, referring to Io.

"It's just like I always said, the ones who don't give up until the end win the fight!" Marcus says.

"Yes, yes, let's get back to DATS, now." Io says before putting the egg in the back of Yoshi's car.

Marcus' face turns pink once he notices Io's round ass before looking away fake coughing and Thomas watches the scene with a frown.

'He got cake' Marcus think of what he just saw.

-time skip-

Everyone is back at the base.

"Don't be absurd. You don't even come up with any strategy or tactics." Thomas says crossing his arms and looking away from Marcus. "Do you think using force all the time will let you win at everything?" He questions.

"Hah, sounds like a sore loser to me." Marcus says, shrugging holding his arms out.

"What did you say?" Thomas questions getting annoyed.

"Wanna make something of it?" Marcus questions, preparing to fight. "I'll knock you out with one hit to the face!" He states "I'll take my raw power over you tactics, any day" he adds.

"Don't be stupid. Just because you won with luck once..." Thomas annoyingly says.

Everyone in DATS watches the two of them arguing with each other.

"Yoshi, if they don't stop, Por mi madre que esta por el otro la'o del mundo, estos dos me va a sacar lo Boricua" he warns his cousin.

Yoshi sweat drops "I know" she responds.

Io looks at the commander and who looks back at the pinkette boy; Io points at the two which Richard nods and the pinkette walks up to the two males the girls and the Digimon looks worry that Io would slap them again but instead...he kissed them both on the cheek freezing the two arguing boys Miki and Megumi squealed at what they just saw Yoshi jaw drop at the sight and the Digimon were still confuse of what just happened

Io looks back at DATS' commander "You can thank me some other time, sir" Io says as he stays in between the two shocked males.

Richard nods at Io before looking at Marcus and Thomas "Marcus, Thomas" he calls gaining the mention two male's attention "From now on, you two will be partners" he says as Marcus and Thomas looks at Richard shocked.

"But sir he's completely undisciplined" Thomas protests.

"This clown!? I'll never be his partner he's way too annoying" Marcus also protests "Come on, Io tell him!" Marcus says looking at Io.

Io gives Marcus a sad smile "Sorry Marcus, I can't save you from this one" he says "after all..." he says.

"That's a order" Richard finishes the sentence.

Marcus and Thomas look at each other, then look away

"This is the worst..." Yoshi said, holding her forehead.

"Let's hope things can get better in the future" Io then says.

First Phrase: Como Eh?

which translate to "say what?"

it's a simple phrase Puerto Rican uses when they don't understand either half or anything that the other person was trying to explain to them.

Second Phrase: Me cago en Pinocho ese cabron que se cree un niño de verdad

Which translate to "I Shit on Pinocchio, the dumbass who thinks is a real boy."

Honestly...there's no context to this phrase I just got it from a Puerto Rican streamer who lives in Germany.

Next is the word: Puñeta

This word is used for various situation like when you hit a part of the body.

Example: Hay puñeta that hurt!

the word puñeta can be also used when something that amaze you happened or celebrating something.

Example: Puñeta let's go!

And the final phrase: "Por mi madre que esta por el otro la'o del mundo, estos dos me va a sacar lo Boricua."

Which translate to: For my mother who is on the other side of the world, these two are going to bring out the Boricua in me
