As soon as the last graduate received her high school diploma, Pinkie Pie and Rainbow ran up on stage.

Pinkie had two party canons set up on each corner, Rainbow was at the far corner, and Pinkie was at the closets.

Then, with Pinkies signal, the two loud girls screamed at the top off there lungs, "LETS GET THIS PARTY STARTED!!"

The canons set confetti into the air, that was put inside by Pinkie. Hats flew into the air.

This was going to be fun.

The group of friends made their way into the gymnasium where everything was beautifully decorated.

Music blasted, balloons above the dance floor, a disco ball smack dab in the middle of the ceiling, and plenty of food and sweets.

Everyone was having a blast, the party was wonderful. Applejack decided to wait until they were leaving to give Rainbow the promise ring. The ring she picked out was gorgeous, it was a gold ring base, with an apple colored all the colors of the rainbow. Applejack thought it seemed very clever.

"Applejack, try these cookies! These cookies are amazing!" Rainbow said, suddenly appearing out of nowhere.

(Rainbow, that's Pinkies job!!)

Applejack laughed, taking one of the... 14 mini cookies Rainbow held in her hand and ate one. She had to admit, they were pretty good.

"I'm sure gonna miss this place." Rainbow leaned against the closest wall, looking at the party.

"Me too," Applejack said, "But ya know, high school can't last forever."

Rainbow giggled, "I know, it was just the best years of my life. Never would have believed someone if they came up to me when I was like 12 and said I'd have the best friends I could ever ask for, and the most wonderful and beautiful girlfriend ever when I got to high school."

Applejack smiled, "Same here, babe. It's crazy, huh?"

Rainbow nodded, "I guess I'm just so lucky, somehow."

"Me too." Applejack wrapped an arm around Rainbows shoulder, feeling the skyling lay her head down on Applejacks chest.

"I kinda don't want this all to end." Rainbow frowned. She looked around. Everyone looked so happy, and so different from when it all began.

"Well," Applejack grabbed the promise ring from her pocket, "There's one thing that ain't goin' to end soon at all."

Rainbow looked at Applejack, "Huh?"

Applejack grabbed Rainbows hand and slid the ring onto Rainbows finger, a silent gasp from the skyling came.

"Holy crap, AJ.. it's so pretty.. what is it?" Rainbow looked at the gift she just received.

"I know we ain't old enough to really be married, or even think 'bout that. But this is a promise ring, lettin' ya never forget I promise one day, we will," Applejack said, "I never plan on lettin' ya go. And I very much plan on keepin' this promise. I love you, Rainbow, so so much."

Rainbow smiled, a light blush on her face, "I got you one, too."

Rainbow handed Applejack a very similar ring, although it was a golden apple with an emerald green leaf, with a rainbow outline around it all, "I realize we can't be married now, we're still kinda young for that. But that's not gonna change my mind from being here by your side forever, even if we get married when we're freaking 100 years old, I won't care. No matter how long it takes, I promise I won't leave you.. ever."

"Aww," Applejack joked, "Whose a lil' sappy today, hmm?"

Rainbow rolled her eyes with a smile, "Only for you, and you know that."

"I love you, Apples." Rainbow said.

"I love ya more, Rainbow." Applejack and Rainbow then shared a loving hug, one they wished would last forever.

Forever may be a long time, but they wouldn't mind spending by each other's sides.

Applejack quickly signed papers, today was the big day. The day she had dreamed for since she and Rainbow exchanged promise rings at graduation.

When Rarity figures out what Applejack was planning, she instituted she came to record and watch the entire scene. Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy, and Sunset Shimmer we're coming as well.

Today was Applejack and Rainbow Dash's meet-a-versary.

Applejack had recently turned 25, and boy was she done waiting to ask Rainbow Dash.

Rainbow was now a soccer coach for kids 10 and under, and she loved it. Scootaloo was 17 years old, and helped Rainbow as co-coach. Applejacks mom and dad were very helpful for picking out the ring Applejack would present to her lover.

"Oh, honey. I'm so proud of ya," Applejacks mom whipped a tear from her face, "My baby gals all grown up!!"

"I'm so excited for y'all. I betcha she'll say yes right away." Applejacks father smiled.

Applejack was nervous, but had nothing to worry about. She knew Rainbow would say yes no matter what. She promised.

All she had to wait for was the day it rolled around.

She called Rainbow to meet her at Pinkies cafe. She had the box in her pocket, and a proposal speech ready for Rainbow. 'I hope that she likes it.' Applejack thought anxiously.

She had Pinkie reserve a table in the back especially for this moment, a plate of those mini cookies ready, and a coffee for them both.

She held her breath, crossing her fingers and waited.

The door to the cafe swung open.
