Reika's POV:
"Wait...WHAT?!?"

"That's right Reika, your father and I are going to a business trip in New York tomorrow, so we're going to the airport separately and you'll on your way to Jap-"

"Whoa whoa whoa! Slow down! You're telling me that I'm going to live all by myself in Japan while you guys are out of states?!" I exclaimed with a look of astonishment on my face where I can't believe my ears. Are you kidding me? I just got back from school for one minute and now I'm standing here listening to my parents telling me that I'm going to live with my grandmother in japan?! WHAT THE HELL?!?

"Not all by yourself Reika, you'll be living with your grandmother in Japan while we're out." My Dad reassured me, but that doesn't help me at all.

"But why am I going to Japan? Why can't you just let me go with you?" I asked curiously.

"Because it's an adult meeting and we're not allow to take our children to a meeting. Besides, I'm also going to New York as well. I'm having a photo shoot at the New York shopping mall and the Statue of Liberty.~" My mother explained with her eyes beaming with excitement, but I'm still confused and fold my arms while silently look down at the ground feeling skeptical about the whole idea of moving to japan to live with my grandmother.

"It feels so sudden though..." I muttered.

"I know it is, but we promise we'll call you after work." He reassured.

"But what about my friends? How am I going to explain my sudden departure?" I asked them feeling unsure about this situation, but my mom came to me and pat my back.

"Don't worry sweetie, I'm sure your friends are going to be fine with it if you told them about it. Besides I heard Japan is a great place to stay in. Heck they even have good food there." My mom sweetly assured me which I pondered for a minute before I made up my mind and nod at her.

"...Alright, I'll tell them. Thanks mom." I replied with a small grin.

"No problem." She grin and kiss my forehead.

"Now go to your room and pack everything you have." She instructed me.

"Okay mom, got it." I replied.

"And make sure you get a goodnight sleep because we're arriving at the airport tomorrow at 4:00 am." He informed and I nod.

"Right, I got it. Oh wait. What about my new school? Do I have to do applications there?" I asked.

"I'm sure your grandmother has got you covered so you're fine." He reassured and I grin.

"Okay thanks dad. Anyway I better get to my room and pack, night mom." I said as i kissed her on the check.

"Goodnight Reika." She said as I ran upstairs to my room to begin packing.
