IN THIS STORY BOKUTO AND AKAASHI ARE BOTH THIRD YEAR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS

ANGEL

Bokuto and Akaashi are the same age and both third years in high school

CHAPTER 1 - SADNESS

Akaashi watched the rain drops slide down the window of the car that he was sat in. He wondered how a person could have their heart ripped out, stepped on and thrown away and still be expected to function.

He remembered what had happened just a week before, when he was happy. He remembered that he was sat in his class room when he was called into the Principals office. He walked into the room and immediately saw his sobbing grandfather, Akaashi knew that something really bad must have happened as he had never seen his grandfather cry before.

The Principal softly asked Akaashi to sit down, everything he said seemed in slow motion, he could hear his heart loudly thumping in his chest and his breathing became laboured. All he heard was PARENTS, HIT BY A DRUNK DRIVER and DEAD. His world seemed to end on that day. Now here he was in his grandparents car, after the funeral and now living in a completely different prefecture as they were now is only family.

His grandfather had managed to enrol him at a new school Fukurodani Academy and tomorrow would be his first day. He had to start again, new school, new teachers and no friends. However his grandfather also managed to secure him a place on the Volleyball team and apparently they were very good. Akaashi loved Volleyball, he had been playing since he was 8 years old, so at least that was something.

Akaashi exited the car and stood looking at his new home, out of the corner of his eye he noticed a light flicker on in an upstairs window in the house on the opposite side of the street. He looked up and noticed a tall muscular boy about his age with black and grey spiked hair and sparkling golden eyes staring back at him.
"Keiji, darling", shouted his grandmother, "come in before you get sick". He looked towards his house and then back at the boy, however he had disappeared.

Whatever, Akaashi said to himself.
