Bokuto woke up as the bright moonlight was shinning through the open curtains. He turned around and found himself facing Akaashi who was soundly sleeping. God he is so beautiful, Bokuto thought, his soft hair, his perfect nose, his kissable lips, his long beautiful eye lashes. He's absolutely gorgeous, Bokuto couldn't control himself as he softly touched his face. He then realised that he was falling in love with his best friend Akaashi.

Just then Akaash started to whimper in his sleep, his breathing was laboured and tears ran down his face even though he was asleep, Bokuto looked at him with concern. Akaashi sprang upright in bed screaming "NO NOT MOM AND DAD. TAKE ME, KILL ME. He opened his eyes, sobbing and in the middle of a panic attack. Kuroo and Kenma came barging into the room "are you both OK, what's wrong?" Kuroo asked although he could see how embarrassed Akaashi was. "Kuroo come back to bed leave them, Bokuto will look after him".

When Kenma and Kuroo got back to their room, Kenma explained "while you were out earlier getting the food Akaashi told me about his parents getting killed in a car accident not long ago and he was very upset. I asked him if he had feelings for Bokuto and he said he did but he wouldn't confess as he didn't want to lose him". "Let's just leave them for tonight kitten, I'm sure everything will eventually work itself out.

BACK IN THE OTHER ROOM -

"I'm so sorry Bokuto-san, I was talking to Kenma today about my parents and I had a nightmare about it, I miss them so much", sobbed Akaashi. Bokuto held Akaashi's face and wiped the tears away with his thumbs and held him close. They lay back down with Bokutos arm around Akaashi and the distraught boy lying on his chest. Bokuto spoke in a soft and caring voice while softly rubbing Akaashis back, "it's OK Kaashi I'm here for you whenever you need me because I really care about you. You've been through so much and you need someone to take care of you, so I want to do that."

"Thank you Bokuto-san I really care about you too and you have been my rock since the day I met you." Akaashi kissed him on the cheek, "Try and get some sleep and I'll keep cuddling you so that you know that you're not alone". Bokuto replied.

Bokuto could hear the change in Akaashi's breathing so he knew he was asleep, he continued to gently rub his back and hold him close. He then kissed his forehead and whispered "good night Kaashi, I love you.
