Media on Wattpad cannot contain full nudity. Any such media will be removed. However, partial nudity is permitted on wattpad so long as any private parts are covered

Media on Wattpad cannot display clear sex acts. Such media will be removed

Images or videos that display self-harm and suicide are not permitted and will be removed

You can use media of public figures and celebrities. However, you cannot use media of other persons or friends without their consent

We work closely with authorities. Therefore any other media which captures an illegal act or is illegal will be removed and legal actions will be taken

Media that advertises products and services that are unrelated to Wattpad will be removed

Any real life imagery of graphic violence will be removed

Mature Rating

Mature stories are intended for an audience that is 17 and up. There are restrictions on discovering Mature stories for younger users, to help ensure they reach the correct audience. A story must be rated Mature if it contains any of the following media:

Barely clothed people wearing very revealing clothing: revealing lingerie, just covering private parts.

Any BDSM imagery including: BDSM tools, images of people constrained, etc.

Graphic fights that depict violent actions such as: sport fights, video game scenes, etc.

Graphic gore: zombies, mutilated bodies, excessive blood.
