That night Sam was so overjoyed by her new desktop, that she fell asleep in the console room. She fell asleep in the hurricane of pillows on the large orange circular mat. Her arms were wrapped around a large, white bunny pillow, her head resting on its stomach. She was still sound asleep. She was laying on her stomach, the rest of her figure was practically hidden by the mass of pillows. Simon entered the console room. When he spotted Sam sleeping in that position, her hair all tangled and loose, he couldn’t help but chuckle. He walked over to her and kneeled at her head. He poked her head, hoping it would wake her up. It didn’t. He started to poke her multiple times at a rapid pace, until her eyes shot open. She looked over at Simon.

“Were you poking me?” She asked him and he nodded, standing up. Sam groaned and rolled over on the pillows. She looked up at the ceiling of the TARDIS, which was full of the checker circles. She sat up shaking her head. She ran her hand over her face and through her hair. She then fell back onto the pillows, really not wanting to get up. Simon chuckled and exited the console room. Sam laid there for about a minute before Simon returned with a plate. Sam sat up and accepted it.

“Thank you, Simon.” She said and he nodded, moving to examine the bookcase. Sam ate the food that she was given while sitting in her pile of pillows. Bacon, eggs and toast. Yum. After she finished and slowly stood up and walked to the kitchen to clean up. The others where who knows where. When she returned to the console room, she saw Simon intensely examining a book title.

“What does B.A.S. mean?” Simon asked and looked up at Sam. She raised her shoulders.

“Don’t know. You probably need to read the book to understand.” Simon held the book up and opened it for her to see.

“Give me that.” She said, taking the book in hand. It was true. There were no words in this book, only blank pages. She closed the book and looked at Simon.

“Probably a fault from the TARDIS.” She said with a nod. Sure enough, the title of the book changed and word appearing inside.

“See. It’s King Arthur. Just a fault.” She said and Simon nodded, hesitantly. Sam exited and walked back to her room to take a shower and get dressed. Once she was done, she wore simple black skinny jeans with an orange belt and a black tank top. Over that she had a red Avengers hoodie and she also wore red sneakers. Her hair was tied in a ponytail. She entered the console room to see everyone finally lively. Simon was examining the new computer while Owen, Allen and Roni were looking through the books. Simon and Toby were sitting on one three-seats, talking to each other about the Child. Vincent was on eth other three-seats, laying over the entire couch. S am went over to the orange one-seat and sat down, but with her legs over the one arm rest and her back to the other.

“So Vincent, you look rather tired.” She addressed him. He groaned.

“I don’t understand how they can be so active in the morning.” He said, rolling his eyes.

“Well technically, it isn’t morning. We’re just floating in space, there’s no sun to indicate morning or night. But according to the ongoing time the TARDIS has, yes. It is morning.” He rolled his eyes at her.

“Whatever. It’s still too early for all of this.” He said and she smiled.

“If something interesting were to happen, would you then be more lively?” She asked him.

“No. It would just be more of a nuisance.” He said, annoyed. She chuckled. Suddenly, red lights flashed in the room.

“No, no, no!” Sam groaned ,throwing her head back onto the arm rest.

“I don’t need this!” She yelled and stood up, walking to the console like everyone else was.

“Simon?” She asked him.

“Uh…it seems something is heading towards us.” He said, uncertain.

“Like what?” She asked him with a frown.

“Well…a police box.” He said with a small chuckle.

“The Doctor?” Toby asked.

“Probably, since we’re very close to the Time Vortex and his TARDIS seems to be flying of course.” Simon said, a little worried.

“Wait, would that mean that-?” Sam was cut off as the they all were thrown to the side as their TARDISes crashed. Since it was all one floor now, they didn’t have to worry of falling under the console in. Once the TARDIS recovered, Sam ran over to the console.

“Oh my poor baby, are you okay?” She asked as she rubbed the unit in a soothing way. There was a knock on the door.

“Enter!” Sam yelled, playfully, causing the others to slightly chuckle at her. The door opened to  reveal the Doctor’s TARDIS suspended in the air, very close to her own. His doors were open, as was hers, the oxygen shields crossing into another. When Sam looked over through the doors, she frowned slightly before figuring it out.

“Are you the Doctor?” She asked him as he stood in his own TARDIS, three figures behind him.

“Well my Dear, I do believe I am. Hmphmhm.” He said, laughing with a closed mouth.  He made a little hop, jumping into her TARDIS. This was the Doctor, but not one Sam has met yet. He was an old man here with shoulder length, greyish-white hair. His eyes were piercing blue. He wore a white long-sleeved button up shirt under a frock coat. He also wore tartan trousers and had an Astrakhan hat on his head. He also had a stripped grey and black scarf around his neck. He stood with confidence and his hands holding the top of his frock coat.

“Grandfather! Who’s that?” Sam heard a female voice from inside his TARDIS. The Doctor turned his head to look into his TARDIS.

“Susan my Dear, come over here!” A girl then hopped in Sam’s TARDIS as well. She was a young looking girl with black hair in a bob upon her head. She wore a white turtle neck sweater and black jeans.

“Doctor!” Another female voice sounded before two more hopped into Sam’s TARDIS. The female was older than Susan, with dark brown hair in a longer bob to her shoulders. She wore a long sleeved light blue T-shirt and black leggings. The other one who entered was a man with black hair. He wore a white button up shirt with a black and emerald green-striped tie. She recognized the colours from Coal Hill School where she crashed prom a week ago. Along with that he had black trousers.

“Doctor! What is that?!” The woman asked as she spotted Sam’s companions behind her. Sam turned her head momentarily to them before looking back at them.

“No need to worry. Their my companions. Their pretty harmless if your friendly.” She assured them, but their worried faces still showed.

“Well my Dear, you tend to know me. Do I know you?” The Doctor asked and she shook her head.

“Not yet, well, not really ever. You tend to forget me after we depart.” He frowned slightly.

“Is that so? Interesting indeed .Very interesting.” He laughed with a closed mouth again.

“May I ask for a name?” He asked of her. He was rather polite.

“I’m Sam.” He smiled in response.

“Oh yes! And this is Susan, my granddaughter.” He said, introducing her officially as she gave him a hug and he wrapped her arm around her back. Sam’s eyes went wide when she heard she was his granddaughter. Well, she did address him as ‘grandfather’ a few moments earlier.

“I’m Barbara Wright.” The woman introduced herself.

“Ian Chesterton.” The man introduced himself.

“And as I said, I’m Sam. That over there is Simon, Toby, Roni, Owen, Allen, and Vincent.” She introduced her companions as they came to stand next to her, pointing at each as she said their name.

“And may I ask of you a question.” The Doctor said and Sam nodded.

“Ask away.” She told him.

“What are your companions?” He asked her and she chuckled.

“Well, their Silence and their Ood.” She said, pointing her thumb at the two races.

“Interesting. Very interesting. Now I take it this is your TARDIS?” He asked and she nodded.

“Yup. The desktop changed yesterday.” She said with a large smile.

“So you must be a Time Meddler?” He asked and she frowned slightly before smiling again. That must be how he refers to Time Lords. She nodded.

“Of course. How would I have a TARDIS otherwise?” She asked, sarcastically.

“Well yes, and you have met me before?” He asked in the future.

“Of course. The 10th and 11th. If I may ask for a number?” She asked, knowing he would catch on. It’s sort of clear his companions didn’t know he was a Time Lord, nor that he could regenerate.

“Well my dear, one.” He said and her eyebrows went up.

“My soul, you’re original!” She cheered as she clapped her hands together in excitement.

“Doctor, I don’t understand. What does she mean by ‘number’?” Barbara asked, confused.

“Oh my Dear, it is not important.” He said and she gave up in trying to get an answer from him.

“May I ask of your number?” He asked polite.

“Number 2.” She said, holding up both her pointer fingers to her head.

“It seems our TARDISes have crashed together.” He said, looking between his and her TARDIS.

“Yes. We were too close to the Time Vortex and your TARDIS went of course.” Simon explained, surprising them all of the telepathic message. The Doctor adjusted quickly.

“Of course? But we have no course.” He explained.

“The TARDIS goes at random, we never know where we end up.” He explained and Sam nodded.

“Something’s broken then, and it’ll be repaired sometime because the Doctor I know can travel at his own will.” The Doctor looked down slightly.

“Yes, yes, of course.” He said with a nod.

“And the Chameleon Circuit is still not repaired.” She told him and he chuckled.

“It seems so.” He said, looking back at the police box.

“Well then. Would you guys like to stay for tea or something?” Sam asked them.

“No, no, we’re quite alright. Thank you for the offer, my Dear, but me better be on our way.” She nodded.

“Alright then. And I just want to say that it is such an honour meeting you. The original of the 10th and 11th that I’ve met before.” He smiled at her.

“And I you, Sam. I will try and not forget you then.” He said and he chuckled.

“You’ll still forget me, but your companions won’t though.” He nodded and they all hopped into the TARDIS before the door closed. Sam snapped her fingers and her own TARDIS doors closed.

“We just met the first Doctor. That is so cool!” Toby cheered and Sam laughed. Suddenly, her doors opened again and the Doctor popped his head in again. He threw his Astrakhan hat inside. Sam caught it.

“Keep it! I’ve got many!” He said before closing the door and leaving. Sam examined the hat in her hands with a surprised expression. She looked at the hat as if it was a massive piece of gold. Well, not exactly like that, but close. Her companions laughed t her as she looked at it.

“My soul…” She gasped as her hands trembled with it. The first Doctor’s hat was like the 11th’s bowtie.
