Chapter 1 - Wondering
Everyone knows that everybody dies, but not everyone knows there’s a way out of it. Their called Time Lords, a powerful extinct race of beings with two hearts, who can cheat death 12 times. But only two of this great race survived.
Doctor, the one who killed them all.
Sam, the soldier who missed the war.
The Doctor must be travelling at the moment, a new companion every so often. He doesn’t like getting that all attached, because then it’s hard to let go.
Sam, however, has 6 companions. She doesn’t plan on getting anymore, neither does she plan to leave even 1. All 7 of them are universally bonded, meaning what happens to the one, happens to the others. 2 of the 6 companions died, causing them all to regenerate. They decided to regenerate on the planet they bonded. An unknown planet. Nameless. But it is a beautiful place. The surface was made from clouds you could walk on, the sky was a light purple. Somewhere on the planet, was a path of solid green grass. Surrounding the grass are silver and gold flower bushes. In the middle of the grass was a birdbath, a talking birdbath. The birdbath created the universal bond, but it wasn’t for free, obviously. Honesty, trust and sacrifice were the tree aspects to make the bond, if even one of those lack, you won’t get the bond. It was here where they regenerated. It was here where their new chapter started. It was here were Sam became anew.
The force of the regeneration was a lot stronger than any of them thought it would be. Their hands slipped from one another’s, and they went flying back. Some landed in the bushed, while others on the grass. Poor Toby flew over the bushes though and landed on the cloud.
“You’ve got to be kidding me!” He yelled out, frustrated. The light passed and everything was revealed. What Sam had said before was true. They didn’t change personalities not an appearance feature. Owen though he might get a secondary brain, but that didn’t happen. He still had his translator.
“Oi, can someone help me please?” Toby asked and Allen stood up to go and help him. He helped him onto the patch of grass.
“Would you look at that.” Vincent said, fascinated at what he was looking at. Others followed his vision. Their eyes widened before softening. It was Sam. She was unconscious with her head resting on a bush. She looked so much different. Her hair was an incredible shade of orange, not even sure if she could be called ginger. Her body was thinner than last tie mans she was quite a bit taller. She didn’t look a 14 year old anymore. Maybe 16 or 18.
“So this is what she meant by ‘change’. Well then, I can only bid you good luck.” The birdbath said as Vincent walked over to her. He scooped her up and turned to the group.
“Let’s go back.” They nodded.
“Ugh, not again!” Toby wined as they started walking on the cloud. He hates these clouds. He had an extremely unstable figure, so it made him even harder to walk. As they walked, they all wondered about what Sam will be now. Hopefully she’ll be more careful instead of reckless. They wondered of her new traits. Will she love cooking? Will she still have the habit of dipping her food into her drink? Will she read more? Will she play more? Many things ran through each of their heads. They kept looking to her to see if the trait might fit her face. Even Vincent couldn’t help but wonder. He’s know her for 18 years now, so he can’t think what a new her might be like. When they finally reached the TARDIS, Toby almost wanted to kiss it. No more clouds. Vincent went to place her on the levitating couch, but Allen stopped him.
“She needs rest, we should let her sleep.” Vincent nodded and walked up the corridor with her in his arms. He opened the door to her room and entered. He placed her in her bed and left the room. The rest of the day they all talked to each other about Sam, and their strange experience with the regeneration. At night they went to bed, ready to meet the new Sam the next morning.
There you go! First chapter up! Yay!
