Moon-Fish.

Disclaimer: I don't own Andy's Apple Farm (Video Game). I don't own the picture (cover). Or the song.

(Pairing is Melody X Felix, platonic. Not romantic, since it'd technically count as incest. I think they're cute. Couldn't find any fics so I write my one lol.)

(Hope you enjoy.)

"Why are so egotistical?"

She asked him one day out the blue. Melody always found the fish too narcissistic for his own good. Sooner than later, he'd anger someone to the point where he'd be beaten by a person stronger than him. She didn't ask Felix to annoy him er say, rather...

Melody worried more than she needed to.

"In my nature, doll." He replied with a smirk that made her heart flutter slightly. "I know those who are stronger, if you asking that. Know my limits. I ain't stupid to make people mad to where they come after my life."

Something snapped in Melody. She asked him out of concern for her friend. Now here he was taking the mock out a question she asked to make sure he was kept safe.

And the others wondered why she hated him.

"Yeah. I get that." She snarled, glaring at the fish. They played a game of love/hate. "Don't think I haven't noticed too staring at Andy for too many seconds at a time.."

His eyes widened and he looked taken aback. A first for him since he usually had the quips and retorts to save his ego. Only Melody dishes out replies shaking his pride.

Felix growled silently, the moon woman knew how to rile his rage to test his limits. It felt so tempting to just shut her up.

"You know what, doll?"

Melody smiled innocently. Stars literally twinkled in her eyes. She happened to he connected the moon and the sky. The night time was her prime to be wondering around their living area and spend some time for herself.

"What, Felix?"

"I think you have a little crush~"

Right now, she felt really tired from Margret forcing her awake at God awful early hours in the morning. Resulting in a cranky moon, she lashed out at the fish for his egotism which made them all made. She wanted some peace and quiet.

Was it so hard to ask? Yes. Felix never shut his mouth. Yapped on and on about topic none of them understood. Eventually she'd had enough and told him to be quiet. Melody thought hurt shone in those egotistical eyes.

She ignored the guilt to this day.

"Whatever fish man." Melody pushed Felix to the side by his shoulder. "Don't ask them on a date, they'll just be hurt in the end."

The pain in her chest subsided whenever Felix decided he needed Melody alone. The memories of the refused to let her leave them behind. And having Felix a few front in front has driven her mind insane.

Hehurtme.Ihurthim.Ihurthim.

"I never had a crush on you."

Melody clutched the hole in her moon head. A sound, a ringing sound pultruded through her non-existent ears as they started their whispers.

Worthless.
Not a saviour.
You let him drown.
Failure. Failure. Failure.
Bad sibling. Bad sister.

The edge of her eyes filled with the darkness as the shadowed claimed her mind. Felix stood there in a shocked state, body froze like someone was holding him with puppets strings.

Mine. Move. Mine. Move.

He rushed toward Melody as the sound of someone's laughter rang in his gills. He barrelled the girl to her side, she's flashing to a shark's irises as the predator inside reached out to protect its pack mates.

What's going on?! Who are you?

His sister being his number one priority.

"Leave Isabella alone." Louis snarled through sharp teeth, lunging are the shadows arm and biting its skin. "Leave you freaking beast."

It hissed and vanished. Not before giving Louis a whack to the head, sending him to the ground and hands clenching his hurt side. Louis stirred within the body of Felix the moment the darkness dare threatened someone close.

"Louis?" Isabella broke through the mind. "I'm here. Go to sleep. They'll return soon. I'm sorry I couldn't save you a second time."

"It's fine, Isa. Just glad..just glad we saw each other again. Been too long."

"Yeah, guess it has."

Felix fought for control. He wouldn't remember this experience, even when Louis ended up trapped within the subconscious watching someone control his transformed body doing someone else's actions.

At least Isabella is safe.

With that thought, Louis surrendered to the pressure wanting control of its original body once again, a body that once belonged to him. Isabella's tears were the last thing he saw before the Melody within herself fought for control.

They both ended trapped within another.

Felix headed out to his usual fishing spot away from the others. He needed to to himself to comprehend what the hell exactly went on the
other day between him and the moon woman.

Melody avoided him the entire few days after the event happened to the two of them. She didn't want to be around man potentially causing her more harm than good. Felix was alright with that.

I'd rather see her safe than dead.

Those thoughts weren't leaving anytime soon.

He kept refreshing the moon humanoid figure as either a sibling or a system. And while he could associate Melody exactly that title, she didn't like him enough to think him that way.

If she distanced herself for reason only he and her knew, he respected Melody's decision. She wasn't his. He wasn't hers.

Just friends. Maybe siblings. Maybe related.

"Felix."

There stood the Angel in disguise. Felix turned his head back, masking a rather bored expression as Melody's eyes blanked any emotions she didn't want Felix seeing (or knowing), depending on the trauma inflicted.

She could be the hardest to read out them all.

"Yes."

She sat down next to the fish man. A hand placed in his, she sighed in relief, laying her head in his shoulder. Secretly wishing for some silence.

Felix and her were friends enough that he understood the unspoken request. He let her sit next the him while he fished, occasionally spooking the moon woman whenever he managed an actual catch.

"I guess we should talk." Felix's silence made Melody guess he was letting her go first. "I'm sorry about the other day. I do like you, just not like that. I only wish for your safety."

"Same." He shrugged, grinning. "Shouldn't have teased ya. Claus' job to bully us all. I happened to like being snarky since he cannot beat me in a fight. The man's frail as frick."

Melody tried her best not laughing. A hand in her mouth muffled the chuckle refusing to be surpassed at the rather funny joke.

"Don't tell him I said it. He'll hound me for weeks about how uneducated my grammar is."

"True, true."

Melody no longer wished to talk about their previous experience. Like a switch had just flipped, she was behind Felix in an instant clinging to his back and watching the fishing rod lure its unsuspecting swimming victims.

"Teach me to fish?" She asked innocently, buzzing like a hyper child. "You always say you'll do, but you never tech me!"

"Whatever, Mel."

He handed her the fishing rod and instructed on how to catch the fish swimming in the waters. She obeyed his instructions, actually managing a catch or two while they were at their activity.

Perhaps Felix would prove to be a good mentor.
