The man than remembered something "...Oh my! This is no time to be long winded. The entrance ceremony will soon come to a close. Lets get a move on" he said motioned them to follow him.

"Hang on a second, who exactly are you?" Ebany piped up. They didn't even know this man's name yet.

The man looked at her "What is it? Are you still dazed? It appears the teleportation magic has left you disorientated. Well it is fine. It happens often enough. I shall give you two an explanation as we go. For I am gracious" he said smiling as they made their way back. But both of the girls were still very confused.

They were soon in the courtyard. The man cleared his throat "This is Night Raven College. Those Magicians blessed with unique aptitude for magic gather from all over the world here at the most prestigious magic academy in Twisted Wonderland," he explained. "And I am the headmaster, appointed to take care of this academy by the board chairman, Dire Crowley" he introduced himself.

Lunaria nod at least now knowing where she is "Why are we here though? I do have magic but I've never heared of something like Unique magic" she said

"Magician...I have magic too" Ebany said.

"Only those magicians seen worthy enough by the Dark Mirror can attend this school. The chosen one use the Gate are summoned here from around the world," he explained "An ebony carriage carrying a Gate should have gone to meet you two as well"

Ebany thought for a moment "I think I remember a spooky looking horse....and a forest" she said

Lunaria tried to remember "I had a weird dream before I woke up...a horse and a forest.....and a hand" she said

"Yeah there was a mirror in the hand. I grabbed it before I woke up in the coffin" Ebany said

"The Ebony Carriage goes to welcome new students chosen by the Dark Mirror. They are special carriages that carry the doors to this academy. The market decided long ago that the carriages will be used to welcome students" he said

"So it just brought us here on its own!?" Ebany asked a bit freaked out by all this. Grim struggled in his grip.

The headmaster nod "Come on. Lets go to the entrance ceremony." he said guiding the girls to the ceremony. He didn't know they were girls though because their faces were covered by the hood.

Lunaria sighed as she and Ebany followed him to where the ceremony was happening.

"Is that all for the new student assignments?" a red haired boy asked as she looked at his students. "Listen up students. Here in Heartslabyul, I am the rules. Break them and it's off with your heads." he said

A taller boy with brow hair huffed "Ugh...this stuffy ceremony is finally over. We're going back to the dorm. Savanclaws follow me." he said

"To the new students congratulations on entering this academy. Enjoy your life here to the fullest. As the dorm leader of Octavinelle I will support you to the best of my abilities" a guy with glasses said.

"By the way where did the headmaster go? He flew out right in the middle of the ceremony." he guy with blond hair asked.

"Abandoning his post" a voice from a tablet said

"Maybe he got a stomach ache or something?" another boy asked

The door burst open "Not it at all!" the headmaster said not looking happy. Ebany and Lunaria pulled their hoods down so that they don't get more attention.

"He's here" the read haired said.

"I cannot believe you all. Two students were missing so I went to look for them," he said before looking at the girls "You are the only ones yet to be assigned to a dorm. I shall watch over the raccoon. Step in front of the Dark Mirror one at the time" he said as Grim continued to struggle.

Lunaria sighed and walked over to the Dark Mirror. "State thy name" the mirror commanded.

"Lunaria Dark White" she said. Some students were surprised by her name. Didn't it sound kinda like a girl's name? "Lunaria Dark White...The shape of thy soul is...i do not know" the mirror said.

"Come again?" the headmaster asked shocked and confused.

"The child has magic within them but I sense nothing from her. The color, the shape, all are nothing. Therefore they aren't suited for any dormitory." the mirror.

"Wait, her?" the red haired asked "Did the Dark Mirror said they were a...girl?"

Lunaria sighed and nod turning around "Yes you heared it right. I am a girl" she said taking of her hood revealing that she's a girl. That shocked everyone and people started to whisper between themselves.

Many were memorized by her rainbow hair. Vil saw how beautiful she was and decided to ask the headmaster to place her in his dorm, after all anyone beautiful would be nurtured to Pomfiore.

"Settle down! We shall discuss this after the last student steps forward" he looked over at Ebany "Go to the mirror" he said. Ebany walked over to the mirror. "State thy name" it commanded her.

"Ebany Rose Phoenix" she said. The students definitely recognized her name as a girl. "Ebany Rose Phoenix...the shape of thy soul is...a Hybrid. A child with the mixed blood of magic, creature and beast" the mirror said.

Beast? Maybe Savanaclaw?

"Therefore no dorm is suitable" it said. "The magic within you is wild take heed that it does not corrupt your being as a whole" it said.

Ebany was surprised that it could see her. She looked at the crowd "I'm also a girl" she said and took her hood off showing her brown hair with a red highlight. Her ears were pointy and her left eye was covered by an eye patch behind her glasses and her right eye was brown.

The crowd was shocked that the two new students were girls. This was a boy-only academy after all. The dorm leader of Savanclaw, Leona, was interested in her when the mirror said she's a mix of magic,creature and beast. But he wasn't going to ask the headmaster for her to be in his dorm. It was too much of a bother to him.

"An Ebony carriage would never meet with someone that can't use magic! Yes you have magic but this is an all boys school" the headmaster said "In all my 100 years of being a headmaster this has never happened. There was never a mistake in student selection. So why in the world...?"

"Mmmph....pwah!" Grim got free "Let me take their place than!" he said

"Hey! Stay right here Raccoon!" the headmaster told him.

"Unlike those dumb girls I'm perfect for this academy! Let me in the academy instead! You need proof I'll show you right now" Grim said showing off his fire powers.

"Everyone calm down!" the red haired said.

"Waaah! Hot! My butt's on fire!" the white haired boy shouted.

"At this rate the school will be a sea of fire! Someone catch that raccoon!" the headmaster said

Lunaria put the fire on the boy's butt out. Leona sighed shaking his head. The boy with the blond hair looked at him with his arms crossed "Hmmm? Aren't you good at hunting? Doesn't that look like a nice plump snack?"

"Why me? Do it yourself" Leona said.

The white haired boy sighed in relief "Thanks a bunch!"

"Professor Crowley, please leave this to me. I'm sure the others couldn't harassing the poor creature, so I will take it upon myself." The glasses guy said.

"That's Azul for you. Always trying to earn himself points."

"Are you all even listening?" The headmaster was annoyed. The boy with the ears looked at him, "If it's just catching some stupid raccoon, can't you do it yourself, Teach?" He said.

Grim growled, "How many times do I have to tell you, I'm not a raccoon!? The Great Grim that will become the greatest Magician ever is me!" He said.

"That's it!!" Ebany spoke up and use her magic, She pulled the fire to her and put it out. She looked at the students, "If you don't want the building to burn down, do something!" She said, her visible eye flashing red, catching the attention of them

Lunaria stood next to her and nod agreeing, her eyes glowing red "Exactly! This is your school so start acting as if you care!"

That shocked the boys, for girls, they had guts. Ebany handled the fire.

"Well, they certainly aren't shy," Azul said and looked at Grim, It certainly has a moxie. Care to help me, Riddle?" He looked at the red haired boy.

"I can't overlook those who break the rules. Let's hurry and get this over with. It wasn't long before...

"Off With Your Head!" Riddle said and used his magic and snap! A collar appeared on Grim. "Nyaaah! What the heck is this!?" He was shocked by the collar

Grim tried to burn the collar but couldn't "Wait...why can't I use my magic?!"

Riddle crossed his arms "You won't be able to use your magic until I take it off. Just like an ordinary cat"

"Laws of Queen of Hearts number 23. One shall never bring a cat into a festival. You being a cat means you've broken the rule. I shall have you leave at once." Riddle continued.

"I'm not a cat! Or some pet!" Grim said.

"Don't worry, I'd never keep a pet like you you. I'll take it off anyway when you get thrown out." Riddle said.

"Wow as wonderful as ever. And all magic gets sealed by your Unique Magic Riddle. I want it....no...I would never want that cast on me"Azul said

"You must do something about this! This is your familiar" the headmaster told the girls

Lunaria sighed "Excuse me sir but THIS is NOT my familiar. My two familiars are a fox and a wolf"

He's not my familiar either! My familiar is a fairy and I haven't even summoned him!" Ebany said, "How many times to we have to tell you?"

"Y-You did? *Ahem* Anyway, let's get it out of the school at any rate. We won't turn you into a stew for I am gracious." Crowley said to Grim, "Someone help please." He said. A couple students picked up Grim and took him away.

"Let me go! I'm going to... Going to... Become the greatest Magician!" He said as the doors closed behind him.

"Part of me feels bad, but part of me doesn't." Ebany muttered.

Lunaria nod agreeing "Me too"

"We had a bit of trouble along the way, but this brings the entrance ceremony to a close. Dormitory Leaders, please show the new students back to the dormitories." He looked around, "... Hm? Now that I think about it, I don't see the leader for Diasomnia, Mr. Draconia, around at all." He said.

"That's no difference from usual, is it?" The lion said

"What did no one tell him about the ceremony!" the boy with white hair asked

"If you're going to complain you should have done it yourself" the boy with blond hair said

"Hmm. But I don't really know anything about that guy." The white haired guy said in reply.

Some of the students whispered amongst themselves about the topic, "By Draconia... Do they mean "that" Malleus Draconia?" One said.

"Is he seriously attending this school?" Another said. "Scary..."

A boy with purple hair appeared "I was correct.I thought Malleus would come but looks like he didn't. It seems the invitation 'never arrived' again" he said

Lunaria looked at him closely and felt as if she knew him from somewhere

Ebany watched and wondered who they were talking about.

"My deepest apologies. I promise we didn't intend to exclude you." Azul said.

"His aura makes it hard to approach him." Riddle said.

"It's fine. Members of the Diasomnia dormitory can come with me... I hope this doesn't upset him..." He said and took a little first year by their hand as he lead the students out. He flashed a knowing smile at Lunaria before leaving.

The dorm leaders passed the girls on the way out. Leona glanced at Ebany before leaving. Riddle looked at her and she nodded in greeting.

Lunaria smiled at the dorm leader softly as they walked past her

The headmaster turned to the girls "Then, Miss Lunaria and Miss Ebany I'm sorry about this but we must have both of you leave the school. You may have magic but you weren't assigned a dorm so you can't attend this school. But you don't need to worry the dark mirror will send you back where you came from. Enter the gate and picture you home clearly in your mind." he said

Vil got a good look at them, he considered them pretty. He would talk to Rook about them should they stay.

Ebany looked at Lunaria before looking at the mirror, "This was a long dream..."

"Oh Dark Mirror! Guide these ones back to the place they belong!" The headmaster said.

The mirror just stared back at them. "Ahem. Once more. Oh Dark Mirror! Guide these-" he was interrupted.

"It is nowhere." It said. "eh?" The headmaster as well as the girls were confused.

"The place they belong is nowhere in this world... It does not exist." The mirror said

Lunaria was shocked "Huh?"

The headmaster was shocked "What did you say?This is unbelievable! Well the unbelievable has been on a parade today"

"This is the first time it's ever happened since I became dean. What should be..." He looked at the girls, "Where exactly did you come from?"

"Truth is..." Ebany explained to him of her home of Noonveil

Lunaria also explained her home...well more like her kingdom and the fact that she's a princess

That surprised the headmaster quite a bit. "I've never heard of those places. I have a general grasp of where all the students came from, but I've never even heard those names before. Let's do some research in the library." He said. The girls followed him there.
