35 | SEVEN MINUTES
3RD PERSONS VIEW
"You cannot tell anyone."
"As in, anyone?" Chenle and Jisung asked simultaneously, their voice chorused as they side-glanced each other.
Xiaojun nodded, "Yes. Anyone. The ones to only know are Cabin Eight and Seven, hear that right? Eight and Seven. Only." The silver-haired strictly said, pointing a finger at them to emphasize his sobriety.
"Hyung, we won't tell! We promise. Anything for Minjun-hyung— oh wait... shouldn't we... well," Jisung pauses, averting his gaze onto Minjun who was currently talking to Hendery. "call her Noona now?" He felt a little off upon calling her that, especially since he had grown attached to calling her Hyung all the time.
"Aww, Minjun-Noona sounds so cute though." Chenle grinned then followed by a short gasp to escape his lips. "We could give the flower crowns to Noona."
"That's a perfect idea!"
As the two went off to finish the flower crowns they were making awhile ago, Xiaojun made sure to shout out to them one last time, "Remember! Eight and Seven only! And only call her Noona in the cabins!"
"Yes, Hyung!"
The silver-haired craned his heard towards the two, a smirk tugging up the corner of his lips. "Wow, now you two look very... close." He walked up to them, wrapping his arm around their shoulder.
"Do you mind?" Minjun gestured towards Xiaojun's arm and he immediately let go of her. "Thanks."
"Jeez, what's gotten you moody?"
"Dejun, I'm literally on my period."
"Yikes. I forgot. Hendery asked for my heat pack, don't ask why I have them—"
"He gets stomachaches nowadays because of the sauce he keeps on eating," Hendery whispered into Minjun's ear causing her to stifle a laugh and look at him. He gave her an idiotic grin before they both turned to Xiaojun who was now glaring at Hendery. "I heard that!"
"It was meant to be heard."
"You should really lessen your Lao Gan Ma intake, Xiao." The girl glanced at the said boy who pouted, shaking his head vigorously. It was very obvious that he won't be letting go of the sauce anytime soon. "Or maybe not."
Xiaojun scoffed, crossing his arms in front of his chest, his gaze diverted from the fire and onto the two. "Why don't you two just help me out here cook?"
As Minjun was about to approach the table, Hendery placed a hand on her shoulder, stopping her from going any further. She raised a brow in confusion, head tilted a bit to the side. "Is anything wrong?"
Hendery shook his head, a faint smile ghosting his lips for a couple of minutes. "Are sure you don't mind helping? I mean, cramps and all—"
"Hendery," she calls out, chuckling afterward, "I'll be fine, me on my period doesn't mean the end of the world, alright?"
"Hmm... okay, but if you do need anything, just ask me, okay?"
Xiaojun whistled, "Whipped."
"What did you say?" Hendery cocked a brow up at Xiaojun who sent him an innocent smile, waving his hand at his friend. "Nothing~"
The trio continued to prepare and by the time the sun began to set, the rest of the boys have arrived from their little trip to the lake. Minjun presumed that they had a lot of fun with each other after seeing them come back with wide grins plastered on their faces and loud fits of laughter tearing the used to be calm campsite.
"We're back! Did y'all miss us?" Donghyuck exclaimed, walking over to Minjun with his purple damp hair.
"No." Minjun responded, sticking her tongue out playfully resulting in Donghyuck to gasp dramatically.
"Minjun!!" Lucas called out, suddenly crashing his large physique into the girl's smaller figure making them nearly topple over and bump into Jeno and Jaemin.
"Hey! Careful." Jaemin scolded, preventing Minjun from falling back as he instinctively raised his hand in front of him.
Jeno chuckled, his eyes shaping into crescents. "What are you even excited about?" He asked before sauntering to the tents.
Minjun glanced back at Jaemin who was already staring down at her. She pursed her lips together, contemplating whether to speak or not. Her mind said fuck it and urged her to say something, "Uhh... thanks?"
Jaemin nodded at her, muttering a soft, "You're welcome, Minshit." before trudging off to enter their shared tent.
Minjun looked back at Lucas who was grinning at her, big eyes boring into her soft ones. "Are you okay?"
"What? Of course, I am!"
Lucas shrugged it off, still, a smile plastered on his face. "Nothing, I just wanted to check on you."
"Speaking of." Both of them turned to their side, seeing Mark and Donghyuck approaching them both, carrying concerned expressions on their faces.
"You two looked troubled." She commented, noticing the look on their face and they nodded.
"Hendery told us what happened, red days, right?" Mark pointed out.
Donghyuck scrunched his nose, "Dude, should we ask for more food or something? Just in case you suddenly crave or something. It must feel uncomfortable, omg."
"Yes, it is damn uncomfortable. But I'll be fine, I swear."
"Okay. just know we're here to help." Mark patted the top of her head.
"Y'all!!" Renjun clapped his hands, gaining their attention easily. "Let's play seven minutes in heaven!"
"BUT—"
"No buts." Renjun hissed. "It's just simple, those chosen by the bottle will stay in the tent together for seven minutes. That's it."
"Keep it PG please," Mark begged, pulling Jisung to sit down beside him.
Renjun shrugged, "That depends on them though." He gave Mark a smug grin causing the latter to roll his eyes.
"Okay..." Donghyuck spun the bottle and everyone anticipated the results. Once the bottle stopped, everyone fell silent.
No one dared to speak up nor make a sound.
Jaemin rolled his eyes and stood up, "Just seven minutes, right?" The rest of the boys nodded in response.
He sighed, looking over at Minjun who was avoiding his gaze. "Well, Minshit? What are you waiting for?" The girl raised both brows at the name call, immediately peering up from the suddenly interesting ground. "Me?" She mumbled.
Jaemin crossed his arms, "Let's just get this over with." He uttered and crawled into the tent with Minjun following suit, a sigh leaving her lips as well.
Yangyang zipped the tent close and set the timer for seven minutes. As they were inside, the boys all looked at each other, knowing very well that the two weren't on speaking terms.
"Yikes... well that's some kind of luck they have." Yangyang winced, sitting back down on the log.
"Will they be okay?" Jisung tugged on Mark's sleeve for assurance.
"Actually, this is a good time for them to make up," Mark replied, nodding his head. "They'll be okay. I hope so."
"Your seven minutes starts now!"
