19 | YOU'RE PRETTY

3RD PERSONS VIEW

"Y'all smell like shit." Jaemin spat out, nose scrunching as his cabin mates walked into their cabin. "Go take a fucking shower- and wait out while the other is!"

"Sheesh, no need to be mad Jaeshit. We are just...chill." Minjun pointed out, raising her hands up in surrender before grabbing some towels.

"You go shower first, Jisung." Minjun said, passing him a towel to which he caught with ease.

"Okay Hyung." Jisung nodded, grabbing his clothes and headed into the bathroom without another word.

A snigger came from Jaemin, eyes peering up from his book as it bore into the side of Minjun's head. "Hyung."

Minjun rolled her eyes before tossing the other towel towards Jeno, "Here." The latter caught it, grasping onto it tight with a small smile, "Thanks."

The two walked out of the cabin, deciding that they should stay by the porch like what Jaemin said to avoid reeking their cabin. Minjun leaned back onto the dark wooden railings, wiping her face with a damp towel to remove the icing.

Jeno stole glances, seeing how her wiping without a mirror only made the smudges worse. He chuckled, reaching out to her, "You're making it worse, let me help."

Minjun stopped, an eyebrow raised as her gaze fell down on Jeno's outstretched hand, "N-Nah it's okay I can do it." She declines.

Jeno shrugged his shoulders plainly, "You sure?"

"Does it look bad?"

He blinked repeatedly, eyeing her features before chuckling again, "Well, maybe a little." Minjun scoffed and gave him the towel.

Jeno drew near her, placing a hand on the railing for support and slowly wiped the icing that littered on her face. As he gently rubbed them off, he began to notice little details that somehow sparked a feeling in him.

His eyebrows look perfect...Pinkish kissabl— What the fuck Jeno?

The boy shook his head, trying to shove away those sudden thoughts, but he just seemed to not be able to get rid of them fully.

The uneasiness brought by the realization on how close they were, though it shouldn't have mattered to him, right now his mind was going crazy.

His lips formed a thin line, breathing hitched as his hand froze. Jeno's brown eyes made in contact with hers for a few seconds.

His eyes seem like he carries an actual galaxy in them...

Subconsciously, he spoke, "You're really pretty..." he trailed off for a few seconds until it hit him. "...no homo..." he added, gulping down the lump forming at the back of his throat due to the nerves pounding.

Stepping back with cheeks tinted a pink hue, internally in his mind he was screaming. Why on earth did he say that? Although, upon getting a closer look on Minjun's face, no doubt he agrees to what he said, though he won't actually tell it to her.

But the point was, Jeno had no idea Minjun wasn't a boy.

Tongue running through his bottom lips as he laughed awkwardly, "Uhh... here's your towel back." He mumbled, avoiding her gaze.

Minjun grabbed onto the towel, taking a deep breath for what had just occurred. Heart pounding against her ribcage as her fingers clutched onto the damp towel tight. "T-Thanks? I guess..." she murmured lowly, averting her gaze onto the planked ground.

Jeno was about to say something when a voice beat him to it, "Guys! We're back!" The two shot their heads up, seeing Donghyuck and Mark approaching their cabin.

Donghyuck sniggered, "I hope our kitchen duty has been lifted up."

"After what we did? I highly doubt it." Jeno hummed, tossing them the extra towels they brought out with them.

"Thanks, Jeno." Mark smiled and ruffled his hair with the towel. "Ugh- I smell like shit indeed."

"Hyung! I'm done. The next person could shower now." Jisung announced to them, opening the door with a smile on his lips. Damp hair, his towel draped around his broad shoulders, thumb jabbing backwards.

"Who's gonna go next?" Mark questioned them and Donghyuck pulled on Minjun's arm.

"Minjun should go next." He said firmly, ushering her towards the door.

"What? It's okay-"

He cuts her off, whispering something into her ear, "Girls first."

Minjun scoffed, flicking his forehead making him yelp and pout. "Hey!"

"You gotta be kidding me, don't treat me differently just because of that." Minjun muttered back and Donghyuck chortled, "I'm kidding, Min. But seriously, you go first, you stink."

Minjun playfully punched his arm, sending him a mocking face, "Wow thanks, appreciate that very." She rolled her eyes and walked in.

After taking a shower, Minjun walked out fully dressed, her arms in front of her as she pressed the jacket against her chest. She knew very well she couldn't keep wearing the binders to sleep, after using it for a few days, it felt suffocating.

Waking up to it felt horrible. She felt sore and soon enough if she kept doing it– she'd start to get bruises or the pain would grow worse.

Sighing deeply, with the aching feeling annoying her she immediately sat on her bed, throwing on the jacket and covered herself with the blanket.

"Hyung, you haven't dried your hair yet." Jisung stated, seeing as she had laid on her bed, still with damp hair.

"No, it's okay Jisung." Minjun waved it off.

"You're gonna get sick if you don't dry your hair, Minshit."

Minjun furrowed her brows, sitting up to eye the blue-haired who laid in his bed. "Is Jaeshit finally giving a damn care?" She grinned mockingly at the boy.

Jaemin rolled his eyes, "Yeah I just don't want to get sick if ever you get sick so shut up and dry your fucking hair."

Jisung smiled nervously, shaking his head at Jaemin's attitude before patting his bed, "I can dry your hair for you, Hyung."

Minjun sighed, hugging her arms and gave in, "Fine..."

Jaemin's eyes lingered onto her, noticing how uncomfortable she seemed. A sigh escaping his lips, he closed his book, "Jisung- you should go out and call the next one to shower in. I'll dry his hair."

Jisung nodded and passed the towel back to Minjun, standing up to go outside.

Minjun raised an eyebrow, "Excuse you?"

"If you wanna sleep early just come here and I'll dry it quick."

Minjun shrugged and walked towards his bed, sitting down as he took the towel from her grasp. "You seem uncomfortable- something wrong?"

The girl pursed her lips, confused as to how he noticed. "I thought you didn't care about anyone here?"

"I don't...I just- happen to observe and notice." He replied nonchalantly.

"The binder's starting to give me some pain." She said in a hushed tone, afraid that Jisung might hear despite his far distance.

"Oh...um, then stop wearing them to sleep if it bothers you that much."

"I am, that's why I'm cautious."

Once he was done, he patted her shoulder, "Get some sleep."

She nodded and crawled back into her own bed, hugging the blankets close before drifting off to sleep.

"Is hyung okay?" Jisung asked Jaemin as he walked back in with Donghyuck.

Jaemin trailed his gaze onto the girl before waving it off, "He's just tired, go get some sleep too Jisung."
