10 | FUDGE NUT

3RD PERSONS VIEW

"Where were you?" Mark raised a brow, seeing the familiar blue-haired walk towards them as the assembly had started. Minjun rubbed her nape slowly before jabbing a thumb back, directing the attention towards the group of foreigners.

"They took me away– err asked me to join them for breakfast." Minjun answered, looking back at the group who were mindlessly bickering per usual.

Jisung gasped lightly, placing a hand on top of her head, "You were cabinmatenapped!"

"Wait- what?"

"Like kidnapping but since we're cabinmates– you know, uhh combine them together and you get... cabinmatenapped!" he explained enthusiastically before humming, "But cabinmatenapped seems a bit too long... cabinnapped? uhh- matenapped? Ooh! How about—"

"Hey, Minshit? Will you move aside, I can't see the board."

"Minshit?" Jeno repeated with an eyebrow raised questioningly.

"Yeah, Minshit." Jaemin nodded before looking back at Minjun, "So?"

Minjun's eyes trailed onto the chalkboard where their counselor was busy jotting down the activities they had for the day before giving Jaemin a sarcastic smile, "You're tall enough, Jaeshit. You can see it from where you are."

"Yeah but like I can see your blueberry ass hair at the corner of my eye."

"Stop acting like you don't have blue hair."

"Well, it's better than yours, Minshi—"

Jaemin got cut off when Mark cleared his throat, eyeing them down carefully before crossing his arms. "Can't you two stop cursing?"

Jaemin furrowed his eyebrows, looking up as he thought, "Minshit's just a dumb pet name for a dumb... boy." he muttered.

"Yeah but like there's shit in it."

"Is shit even a curse word?" Jeno tilts his head a bit to the side, "I mean... it's just poop... isn't it?"

"Yeah but like... still!" Mark emphasized.

"Minshit and Jaeshit?" Donghyuck repeated before sniggering, "It's barely a week into summer camp and you two are already annoyed at each other."

"Cabin Seven, I can literally hear you from here. Didn't we have a rule about 'No Cursing''?" Johnny questioned after finally finishing the list he had been doing. "For breaking a rule– wait, who cursed again?"

Donghyuck pushed his two blue-haired cabin-mates forward, earning a glare from both of them. "It was the blueberries, Johnny-hyung!"

"Hey, you fu–" she paused, noticing the stern gaze from Mark, "fudging cursed too! Even Jeno and Mark."

"Oh mister, don't drag us into this." Jeno whistled, giving them an innocent smile before tugging on Mark's sleeve, "We're good boys."

Minjun shot Mark a look of betrayal, "You're really gonna do this to me?"

Mark hummed before sighing, "Fine- all of us cursed. I mean... except the fetus."

Jisung gasped, "I'm not a fetus! I'm taller than you!"

Mark pinched the younger boy's cheek, "Still a baby."

Johnny sighed before pointing a finger at each one of them, "Okay, the five of you are just going to be on kitchen duty for the rest of the week, it's nothing worse."

"Ugh, kitchen duty. That sounds horrible." Jeno frowned.

Donghyuck rolled his eyes, flattening down his hair, "Tell me about it– I had it last summer. It was such a pain!"

"Don't worry, I'm pretty sure it won't be that bad if all of us work together, right?" Minjun mumbled before giving Jaemin an annoyed look, noticing the glare he was sending her. "What the fuck do you want, Jaeshit?"

"Two weeks for you, Minjun."

Minjun's jaw dropped, realizing what she had just got herself into. Jaemin sniggered, smirking slyly as he shot her a teasing expression, "Enjoy~"

"Fu—" before she could even finish her sentence, Jisung had covered her mouth just in time. "Minjun-hyung says you're a fudge nut."

"Fudge nut? Really?" Jaemin deadpanned.

Jisung nodded, patting the top of Minjun's head with the use of his freehand. "Right, Hyung?" he glances down at the blue-haired girl who just rolled her eyes in response. Jisung smiled back at Jaemin, "He says yes."

"I can't believe I'm stuck here for a month." Jaemin fake cried, mumbling words under his breath before facing the chalkboard after their camp counselor called their attention.

"So, each day everyone can enjoy any sport they would like– but that's after we're done with the activities or, when break in between activities happen! For today we have capture the flag!" Johnny explained, clasping his hands together. "Everyone will be in their respective teams, which is with your cabin-mates! The first group to find their cabin flag and surrender it to me will receive a special prize!"

"There isn't any specific rules for this, but if you find your opponents flag, you can definitely hide their flag somewhere else, but no taking of other's flag permanently please." Johnny stated before glancing down at his wristwatch, "Oh, and you have until sundown!"

"Good luck! The game starts... now!" and with that signal, everyone huddled in their groups before starting to leave the area, wanting to find their cabin's flag fast.

"Okay, I believe a lot of us are athletic and smart thinkers, we're gonna get that prize!" Mark exclaimed as they huddled.

As they were about to leave, Minjun stopped and turned back to the counselor, raising her hand, "Wait- can I ask a question?"

Johnny raised a brow, "What is it?"

"What's the special prize?" Minjun asked curiously, thinking that maybe the prize would help her get motivated a little bit at least.

"You'll be able to access a free midnight trip to the cafeteria, you get to eat anything you want, doesn't that sound tempting?"

Minjun scrunched her nose before shrugging. Food? I guess that's motivational enough.

"Let's go, Min." Mark called and she nodded, following the rest of the boys out.

"Where are we gonna start looking?" she questioned as they looked around.

"Hmm, the forest?" Donghyuck suggested, gesturing a hand towards the cluster of large trees.

Jisung's eyes widened all of a sudden, "Wait- you're joking... right?"

Donghyuck shook his head, a serious look cast on his face, "No. I mean, last time they practically hid most of the flags in the forest, so..."

Jisung gulped at the thought of wandering in the forest. Bugs, wildlife, probably some wild animals as well; it definitely wasn't his cup of tea.

Minjun noticed his shaken up figure and placed a hand on his shoulder, squeezing it lightly to assure him. "You're not going alone, Jisung-ah." Although a trip to the forest does sound a bit... well... I just hope nothing goes wrong, she thought.

"Yes, right. Of course, Hyung." Jisung took a deep breath, smiling down at the older.

"So, the forest it is?" Jeno tilted his head and Mark nodded, "Yup."

As soon as they entered the forest, Minjun knew things wouldn't end well. She sighed, eyeing each of her cabin mates before shaking her head. I already know this won't end well.
