3rd Person's POV:
Once lunch and classes are over, Ace, Deuce, Grim and Andie all walked around the school and head into the forest behind the campus. It took a few minutes, but they found the chestnut trees. "Waaaah! There's so many chestnuts all over the place! It's a forest of all you can eat mont blanc... Guugh." Grim chuckles as he hurried over to the tree that's closest to them and climbed up onto the branch, grinning at the nuts. "Let's get picking..." "Grim, wait! Those nuts might have-" Andie tried to warn him, but it was too late... "Oww! Ow!" Grim cried in pain, he tried to pick out the chestnuts, but is unaware they have thorns as his paw is now painfully stuck to one of them. "... thorns..." "Ffgna! The thorns pricked my paw!" Grim shouted as he shook the chestnut off. "Ugh, that's what I've been trying to warn you." Andie groans in annoyance, "We can't pick them up with our bare hands. It'll also be good to get a basket or something to put them all in." Deuce said, "The botanical garden probably has whatever we need inside." Ace said, motioning the greenhouse that's not too far from where they are.

"Let's go take a look." Deuce said as Grim climbed down, rested on Andie's shoulder and they headed towards the garden. When they arrived inside, they saw how enormous the garden is and the perfect temperature for the plants. There's even a small river flowing throughout the garden with several bridges. The sun shining down the whole garden with a soft golden glow, there are different kinds of trees and beautiful colorful flowers the grew around or hanging off of trees in hanging flowerpots. It's so peaceful and quiet you can easily fall asleep inside if you want to.

Andie is awestruck by the garden's beauty. "This place is so beautiful." Andie said while staring at the beautiful plants. "Wow, it's bigger in here than I thought." Ace said, taking in the view. "There should be a caretaker of this place. We should split up and find them." Deuce suggested, "I'll go right." Ace said, "And I'll head left. Andie-san, you and Grim can go straight to the back." Deuce said, "Got it." Andie said with nod. The group split up to find the gloves and buckets to collect the chestnuts from the forest. Even though they have a job to do, it didn't hurt admire the scenery. "Wow. These plants are beautiful. I never seen these types of flowers before." Andie said, admiring the flowers. "Hey Andie, look at this!" Andie look up to see Grim pointing at a tree with sweet looking fruit, practically drooling. "There's a bunch of fruit! They smell so good!" "If you even think about swiping the fruit, I can make your punishment into two weeks of no tuna." Andie warns, causing Grim to back away from the tree.

Andie was so focus on Grim, that she wasn't paying attention to her surroundings until it was too late. "Ow!" Andie paused when she heard a gruff voice yelled. "Did I step on something?" She asked herself, she look down to see she's stepping on what it looks like a lion's tail! "Whoa!" Andie quickly jumped back as the tail disappeared into the bushes as it rustles, and a muscular young-man with brown skin appeared from the bushes. He has thick, messy brown hair with two braids on either side. He also has green eyes, with a thin scar going his left eyebrow to his cheek. Andie noticed he has a variety of lion-like features, such as light-brown lion ears and a thin tail.

Andie realized he was the same lion from the orientation in the mirror chamber, he glares coldly at the platinum blonde. "Oi. You got some nerve stepping on someone's tail without saying anything." He said curtly. Andie saw how his tousled smooth dark locks gleamed in the sunlight around his finely chiseled face and his eyes shined like polished emeralds. Every part of him was princely, beautiful enough to make Andie's heart skip a beat at the sight of him. "He's... gorgeous..." she thought, bewitched by his looks, but she quickly caught herself and shook her head, trying to get that thought out of her head. "What are you thinking, Andie?!" She scolded herself mentally, "You literally just met this dude! You can't fall for someone you just met!"

Even though he did look extremely handsome enough to make any woman fall for him, he also has an intense and intimidating aura that made her shudder. Grim ran over to Andie and stood beside her. "Are you the caretaker here?" Grim asked the lion man, "You seem like an impolite guy..." "Grim!" Andie said, narrowing her eyes at him, the lion man then glares at them, "I was in the middle of a nice nap, then you go and walk all over my tail. This sucks." He said, looking irritated. Andie remembered what she did to him and apologized, "Oh! I'm so sorry about that! I didn't mean to step on your tail! I swear! I didn't even see it because I was more focused on Grim!" Andie quickly explained. The lion man paused as he glances at her. "You... Aren't you the herbivore that the mirror said your magic is locked away? Hmmm..."

Andie didn't like the way he's observing her as if his eyes is looking at her soul like a hungry predator eyeing his prey with a calm yet dangerous smirk. This caused Andie to go into defensive mode. But she was off guard when his face was an inch close to hers, his eyes closed as he began to sniff her. "What the hell?!" Andie flinched and backed away, "Why the fuck are you sniffing me?!" She asked, the lion man opened his eyes, looked shocked, but faded away as he smirks, "...Ha. I can smell magic on you. Looks like you unlocked it." Andie's eyes widen in shock. "How the hell does he know that?!" She asked herself in her thoughts.

"But it's still weak. And by the smell of it, you're still learning to control it. I don't feel like taking on an opponent that can't fight back." "Man, being scrutinized by this guy is making my fur stand on edge." Grim said, trembling in fear behind Andie. But Andie wasn't having any of it. "Is that how you greet people? Invading their personal space and then start sniffin' 'em?" She said with a smirk, clearing getting annoyed by what he's saying. The lion man smirked, can see she's getting mad, "So, the herbivore has claws, huh?" The lion man's smile dropped and looked angry. "I, Leona, can't just let you walk away after stepping on my tail. I was having a lovely nap and now I'm just pissed. I'm gonna take a tooth." He said as he cracks his knuckles, Andie and Grim can hear his bones crack. "Hurry, let's get outta here!" Grim shouted, pulling Andie's leg to run away, but Andie stood her ground as she glares at the lion man, she learns his name is 'Leona'. "There is no hell way I'm runnin'. I'm not scared of a punk like you." She said coldly.

Leona paused and raised an eyebrow, amused by her audacity to stand up to him. "Oh? Feisty little herbivore, aren't you? How interesting." He said with a smug smirk. "I don't care who the fuck you are, but if it's a fight you want, then it's a fight you'll get." Andie said, cracking her own knuckles. Leona chuckled darkly, "Alright. Be prepared." Andie got into her fighting form as Leona took a step and raised his leg to kick her with Andie ready to block it and catch it with her arms when suddenly a voice called out, "Leona-san~!" They all turned and saw a teenage boy whose about the same age as Andie. He has spiky, dark blonde hair. He has green-grey eyes, which are often half-lidded. And even though Andie can't see his short, thin tail, she can see his large hyena ears.

"Huh?" Leona huffed as he stepped back from Andie, who got out of her fighting stand, and turn towards the teen, clearly annoyed that his fight got interrupted. "Ah, there you are. It's time for your remedial lessons, y'know." The teenage hyena boy said, walking up to him. "Ugghh... the annoying one's here." Leona sighed, holding his head with his hand. "It's caused you keep failing Leona-san. If you keep getting held back, we're gonna be classmates." The hyena boy said with a teasing smirk. "Knock it off already. I don't need lectures from you." Leona snarled. "I don't enjoy nagging you!" The hyena boy said irritated as his ears faltered down.

He sighs, "You'd have no prob if you just tried. Whatever, let's go!" "Tch..." he scoffed, knowing fully well that he was never gonna to shut his mouth unless he gets his tail to class. He turns back to Andie and Grim. "Watch out next time you come onto my turf. Herbivores." He sneered at them. "Go fuck yourself, asshole." Andie said, glaring at him with her arms crossed, "And next time we get interrupted by your lackey, I won't stop myself from punching the daylights out of you and leave a scar to match the one on your face." Leona and Andie glared at each other one last time before Andie walk away with Grim quickly following behind her. "Wow, you just met her, and you already got on her bad side. Shishishishishi~" the hyena boy laughed when he saw that the new girl hates Leona's guts. "Shut up Ruggie!" Leona glares at the laughing hyena. But deep down, Leona scold himself for the way he treated Andie, he's supposed to respect women and yet he's trying to pick a fight with her, he can tell it's gonna be a pain in the ass if anyone finds out about it, especially if it reaches to Savanaclaw and then to his hometown.

As soon as they're far away, Grim let out a huge exhale as he slumps down against a tree. "... Ffgnaa!! I'm sweating bullets! What's with that intimidating caretaker?!" He exclaimed, "That's because he's not the caretaker, Grim." Andie said as she leans against a tree with her arms crossed. "If he is, he wouldn't have treated us like that. He's a student here, and by the color of his vest, he must be from Savanaclaw." "The dorm that's founded by the King of Beasts?" Grim asked, "Are you sure?" "Positive." Andie said, "I remember Trey telling us that the members of Savanaclaw have animal traits on them like animal ears and tails, and since that guy has lion ears and a tail, and his vest is yellow, he's from Savanaclaw." Andie explained, "Oh yeah! Now I remember!" Grim said, seeing her point.

"But who the hell does that bastard think he is?!" Andie thought angrily with a huff, "He's a total asshole! I swear, if I ever see that fucker again, I am gonna-" "We found the basket and tongs!" Andie's thoughts were cut off by Ace, who he and Deuce, approached her and Grim. The boys noticed how scared Grim is and how angry Andie is. "... Did something happen to you two?" Deuce asked as he placed his hand on Andie's shoulder, hoping to calm her down, which it did as Andie took a deep breath and let it out before answering, "Yeah, but we're ok." "Ah, that's right! The chestnuts! Our tart will get smaller if we don't get a bunch! We'll tell you what happened while we work!" Grim said and the group went back to the forest.

Once they got back, they began to pick the chestnuts off the trees and putting them in the baskets, as they do so, Andie and Grim told then what happened in the botanical gardens. "... That's what happened." Grim said, "There is absolutely no way that was the caretaker!" Ace exclaimed, "After I calmed down, Andie told me that guy was wearing a yellow vest, it means he's from the banana dorm." "Savanaclaw." Andie corrected Grim, "Yeah, that." "Savanaclaw? Is it just me or are there a lot of delinquents at Night Raven College?" Deuce asked curiously, "That actually makes me wonder how they're even attending this school in the first place." Andie said as she picked off some more chestnuts with her tongs. "But then again, this school is based off of Disney Villains, so that's probably the reason why." Andie thought.

"Our chestnut pile is pretty big. Let's get them back to Trey!" Ace exclaimed as he hauled up his basket of chestnuts. "Nyaha! This tart is gonna be awesome!" Grim laughed happily, "He really likes to eat, doesn't he?" Andie thought dryly, "Well, what are we waiting for? Let's get going." Andie said and they made their way towards the school's cafeteria kitchen.

"Welcome back. You picked out quite a bit." Trey greeted them as they enter the kitchen. While they were out picking the chestnuts, Trey gathered all the supplies they need to bake the tart for the Unbirthday Party. Andie noticed that Trey changed into some kind of chief's outfit.

"With this, we can make a huge tart!" Grim said as the three teens placed their baskets down. "Peeling all of this is going to be a challenge but... Let's get to it." Trey said, "All of this... there's no end in sight..." Deuce said, already feeling exhausted as he saw the ingredients and chestnuts on the table. "Making the sweets is all about the preparation." Trey said, "Baking is hard, Deuce. But it's easy once you get the hang of it." Andie said as she rolled up her sleeves and tied her hair back into a ponytail. "Yeah, yeah, we got it! I'm so ready to get this over with!" Ace yelled, wanting to get the stupid collar off of him already as they all got to work.

The group gather the chestnuts and Trey gave them three large bowls, "It takes a bit of work to peel off the chestnut's shell. Let's use magic to cleanly peel them off." Trey said as he pulled out his magic pen, "Ace and Andie-san can't use magic, so peel them off normally, please." Deuce said, "I'll show you we're faster than your magic, right Andie?" Ace turned to the platinum blonde for confirmation, only to be stunned with the others when they saw Andie peeling the chestnuts so clean and quick, once Andie confirm the chestnut, she peeled is cleaned off from its shell, she put it in her bowl and worked on the next one. She's so focus on peeling the chestnuts, she didn't notice the surprised look on everyone's faces, but she did notice Grim eating some of the chestnuts from her bowl.

"You guys- (munch munch) You guys should just watch me and learn! Hyahaha!" Grim said as he's about to eat another one, only the one he had in his paw was swiped from him by Andie. "What the?!" "No snacking, Grim." Andie said firmly as she places the chestnut back her bowl. "Aww man..." Grim pouts as he got to work peeling the chestnuts while Trey and Deuce use their magic. But Trey couldn't help but laugh when he saw how competitive Ace and Deuce is. Although he doesn't know if they're competing with each other or trying to catch up with Andie's pace.

"Look at me, Andie! I managed to peel them off cleanly!" Ace said proudly as he shows her his small pile of peeled chestnuts in his bowl, "They look good, Ace." Andie said, "I'm surprised. You're very dexterous, Ace." Trey said, impressed by the newbie baker. "Pretty much~ I'm a different caliber from Mr. Serious and that cat over there." Ace said, pointing at Deuce, who was trying peel them perfectly. Deuce glare at Ace for that remark. "I peeled them cleanly, too! Take a look for yourself!" He shouted as he points at his own bowl of peeled chestnuts. "Me, too! Compare mine to Ace's!" Grim exclaimed, "Haha... We still have a lot to peel but look at you, being so energetic." Trey chuckled.

"But it looks like you got the hang of it, Andrea-san." Trey said to his new friend, "That's because my aunt taught me how to bake since I was a little girl." Andie said, "Does she work at a bakery or something?" Ace asked, "Yeah, she dreamed of having her own bakery since she was little, and she worked really hard to get it. I visited her bakery with my family. My sister and I always help her bake her desserts, since then, she taught me everything I know about baking." Andie explained, "And I'm guessing you had a lot of fun, right?" Trey said with a smile, "Yup, nowadays before I came here, I still visited her bakery with my friends to help her out. She even taught me her recipes." Andie said as they continue to peel the chestnuts.

"This is the last one... There! Alright, we're finished!" Deuce said with joy as the bowels are filled with freshly peeled chestnuts. "Thanks for the hard work. We finished so quickly even though we have non-magic users." Andie and Ace share a look when Trey said that. "If only you and Cater knew I do have magic, Trey." Andie thought, "Hehe~! Everything's a breeze as long as I'm here!" Grim cheered, "Alright, next up's straining them." Trey explained, "There's still more!?" Ace yelled, "Baking isn't as easy as you think Ace." Andie said as they all got back to work.
