[Josie's POV]
I hear a knock on the door. "Hello?" It's a boy. I bet it's the guy that owns this room. The cute one... I don't answer him. He's a giant turtle! And a talking one at that! Even if he is cute.

He knocks again. "Can you come out of my lab?" He asks. I gulp and unlock the door. He opens it slowly. I take a small step back so he can step in. "I-it's alright." He says. I look into his eyes for assurance.

He puts out a hand and I slowly take it. I blush quite a bit and he does too. He leads me to the living room again. I take my place next to Ro, still shaking. She smiles. "It's okay." She whispers. I nod.

"Is this Miss. Josie?" A rat says. I stiffen and look over to Ro. "Yes, Master Splinter." I say. Then he introduces himself. "Hello, my name is Hamato Yoshi. But you may call me Master Splinter." He says.

Then the turtles introduce themselves too. "Hi, my name is Leonardo, Leo for short." He smiles. I nod looking to the next turtle, who wears a red bandana. "Raphael. Raph." He says simply. Isn't he nice?

Then I look to the turtle who brought me in here. "Donatello, but you can call my Donnie." He smiles, showing a gap. So that's Donnie... Ro was right, he's cute! Then the smallest turtle, who wears orange, steps up and grins.

"My name is Michelangelo! You can call me Mikey. Wanna be best friends?!" He cheers. Boy, he's hyper. Not as hyper as me though. Heh, he should see me after I eat a ton of candy.

"H-hi.. I'm J-Josie." I stutter. I look at all of them, Donnie especially. When we make eye contact we both blush and look away. "So, Josie.. let's go hang out." Ro says, trying to break the silence.

"Sure, uh, yeah." I say. She grabs my wrist and pulls me into her room. "Dude, I totally just saved you!" She laughs. "Save me from what?" I ask, clueless. "From awkwardness with Donnie." She laughs.

"It wasn't awkward! We were just- Oh." I say. "Yeah, I saved you." She laughs. "Thanks.. anyways, watcha wanna do?" She cracks up. "What?" I ask. "Your accent. It just gets to me." She laughs.

"I don't have an accent." I say, offended. "Yeah you do!" She laughs. "I sound completely normal!" I whine. "Where did you say you were from again?" She asks. "Oklahoma." I shrug.

"That's it. You've got an Okie accent!" She giggles. I blush and look away. "You don't judge other people from their accents!" I pout. "Heheh... Yeah I do, just behind their backs. Like Raph.." She starts cracking up.

Then I laugh along. "What is that?! A Brooklyn accent?!" I start rolling around on the floor. Ro coughs and looks behind me. "Uh..." I say, looking at Raph behind me.

"Mhm.." He growls. Then I shrug and close the door behind him. Then we start giggling again. "Anyway, about earlier.. I think you have a crush." she laughs. I sigh, happily.

"Me too. But I think he already has a girlfriend." I frown. "Why do you think that?" She asks. "Well, when I ran in his lab, I saw him in a picture with another girl." I say.

"Was she a redhead?" She asks. I nod. "Yeah, their not dating. She wishes, but he got over her a long time ago. I don't know why he still has that picture of her in his room." She shrugs.

"Oh." I smile. "Oooh! Josie likes Donnie! Josie likes Donnie!" She stands up and starts dancing. I roll my eyes. "Shush! He might here you!" I laugh.

We hang out until 4:00 pm. Then I head home. Awesome day! I met some cool mutants and got to hang out with my best friend! And I have my first real crush...
